I did have the Old rother tour to Madeira , it was easy to find out, Then I updated it, its really bad now, its difficult to find a tour, it was easy before, you have a rewiew of all the tours on the island, now you can’t see on the Map how hard the route is

Just so you all know, I emailed this author explaining the known facts over two weeks ago and requested that he correct this misinformation but received no response.

Travel writers should not involve their bias political viewpoints in their travel writing as Rolf Goetz has done so boldly.
Travel Writers have a responsibility to their readers to state facts of travel not to state political bias and to verify their facts -check your information, Rolf!
Rolf Goetz, the author is irresponsible with his wording and will be partly responsible for 'gas-lighting' any unnecessary political problems in Cyprus.

Rolf Goetz seems to be under the impression that the North of Cyprus “belongs to Turkey” as quoted in this book…the northern occupied territory of Cyprus actually does not!!!
Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974 ILLEGALLY! Cypriots fled from their homes are are refugees still. Northern Cyprus is still illegally occupied by Turkey and is not recognized as a state nor country by the Whole wide World, Rolf, except by Turkey and those “wannabe millionaires “ greedy to buy cheap and stolen land.
Cyprus belongs to the Cypriot people encompassing all pertinent cultures, religions and genders.
By buying this book regardless of how much you enjoy a good hike or walk as I do… you will be acknowledging your own ignorance and supporting the mis-truth in this matter.
Their are many great walking guidebooks about with solid facts … just not this book.
