Great Tech Support Activity !!
I was very pleasantly surprised to find that a tech support service for the energy industry surpassed all my expectations of quality !!
Rowan Energy’s support person (Claire) was extremely helpful, responsive, knowledgeable and polite throughout the entire support process. She was a real breath of fresh air compared to other companies with which I have had to deal at other times.
Also, the tech support engineer who came to my house to re-connect and check the systems (Hallam) was thorough, very knowledgeable, resourceful and polite.
I can totally recommend Rowan Energy’s support team as a valued, respectable, polite and very knowledgeable group of people !!

My experience of Rowan's customer service positively escalated after I wrote a fairly bad-tempered email about issues I was having. The issues were not of Rowan’s making but started after I upgraded my solar system. I was called by Claire the Customer Service Manager and she explained the situation, suggested a solution and I am full on mining again. First class 🙏👏🙌
Outstanding service
I've been dealing with Claire over one or two problems with my recent solar installation. These were entirly my fault. Having dealt with many companies online my experience has, at best, usually led to a sense of frustration. By comparison Claire has been outstanding. Had my smart miner installed for a…
Had my smart miner installed for a number of months now after ESE installed my Solar panels along side it.
During the installation i was told if i wanted to install use the UPS function of my inverter for my server rack (from battery storage) i could just wire up the UPS to a socket... so i did
This has resulted in Rowan energy's portal showing minus figures that remove points from my account:

Upon contacting them as asking, i was interstitially refunded these points while it was being investigated. Someone came out, tool a look and said it needed an update that they could do remotely.
Then i got an email asking if the UPS connection installation was installed by a professional and for a certificate of installation
Seems like a cop out to me and would/will not be recommanding them

As per the original post i was asked for an installation certificate despite being advised that i can install my self this is all in the email chain between myself and the support email

Lack of emails pertaining to issues with the Smart miner.
I had an issue with lack of emails from the company and received a very helpful call from them apologising and sorting out this, online access to the appliance and my access to the website. This was instigated by them immediately and to my total satisfaction.

UPDATE
My opinion has been revised to reflect the excellent technical support and resolution to the issues raised below.
I had a very polite and informative e-mail from technical suppot explaining the software issue they had when introducing a new dashboard.
Everything is now back to normal and I have therefore re-instated my 5* rating.
Rowan Rewards recently updated their user dashboard. Some users had an issue with the points being recorded incorrectly. Now fixed
