I've a pension account from my workplace with them. It's extremely difficult to update mobile number with them, their app doesn't let customers add new mobile number and you have to go through a convulted process to speak to customer service who will add new number. Despite doing that they still haven't updated my new number and I'm locked out of my own account.

My experience was very good, other than the 15 minutes of music beforehand.
I was efficently delivered to a lady named Lauren in the team that could provide the service of releasing some of my funds for me. She was knowledgeable, polite, with wonderful sense of reality and perfectly judged engagement in which she allowed me the time to interrupt and explain my situations etc. This is a very rare trate/ability these days. I also have to thank Royal London for being able to recognise and employ a person with purely natural personnel skill set and provide them the essential product training, well done.

This organisation moves at a snails pace. Try getting a pension transferred and you’d probably be beyond need of it by the time it gets done. Other organisations take days. These guys take months, require of filling, emails, calls, customers service messages and still nothing. Go to a modern organisation that can organise itself not one stuck in the past that operates with frustrating sluggishness would be my recommendation.
