For the most part, everything went well with the rv rental. The only issue was the height measurement of the toy-hauler loading door. The website description/measurement was actually one inch higher... See more

Wow, customer experience representative Lucas is amazingly courteous and knows his stuff! He made me feel comfortable in asking questions, he didn’t rush me, and his information was on-point and so thorough. I feel like a more prepared and confident RV owner as a result. Thank you!
Lucas was a joy to talk with, he helped with my issues and is an asset to RVshare
They understood all of my questions and gave me prompt accurate answers
I am shutting down my account today. RV share will not reimburse you for damages to your RV, even though they tell you you’re covered. Run as fast as you can from these crooks. I definitely DO NOT Recommend!
I attempted to rent 3 RVs and got zero response. 4 days later I was told one of the booking did go through but by that time I had made other arrangements. When I attempted to cancel they told me there was a $300 fee! Fee? For what? Because I did not cancel within 24 hours of the reservation. Problem was, I never got confirmation until it was to late! They intentionally deleted all correspondence I had with them prior to this! They are a full blooded scam!!!!! There is no way of speaking to anyone who can help so dont bother trying.
EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I was supposed to have a camper for 7 nights. I returned it after 2 nights of no heat because it was non-functional. I was not able to obtain a refund for the remaining nights. As soon as RVShare has your money, they will do nothing to support you if there is a problem with the RV owner! Beware, Beware, Beware!
We rented from RVShare and the back wheels of the RV came off while driving on the highway! We were left stranded for over 7 hours. RVShare's customer service and roadside gave us the run around, at one point said we would have to pay an additional $2k to tow it, and we were left to find a place to fix it. After having to rent a car to continue our trip, we are now left with all of the expenses and didn't even get the RV for the days we rented it for. RVShare has been terrible in trying to get some money back and has not shown care about how our family was in danger.
in August 2023 i booked through RV Share an RV for an extended weekend for a MS Hockey Tournament. After paying for the RV parking spot and paying the RV share for the rental, the owner of the RV cancelled my reservation 1 WEEK prior to my trip. I lost all the money and had to book a hotel room and my wife, dog and I never got to experience a pre purchase RV trip all the while loosing money. Since i actually had my reservation cancelled by the RV owner, RV Share did not allow me to post a review because my trip never happened.
This is a very fraudulent company. If anyone is seeking to rent an RV, do not go thru the process of renting from RVshare. This company breaks its own rules to make money. I rented a camper in OK in Sept 2024 for 4 days. First of all when I went to pick up this camper, the owner never showed up to do the out paperwork to go over any damage before I rented it. Camper was stored at a public storage facility. I had to call him to find out about how to get in the camper. I checked the lights before pulling it away and the entire right side lights didn't work. No brake lights , no turn signal. I drove it away anyway because I already paid for it and there was no time to find another one. I returned the camper on the return day 4 days later and still the owner was not there to receive the camper so no in paper work was completed like he was supposed to do per rvshare rules. 3 days later I received an email from rvshare stating that owner found nothing wrong with the camper and was releasing my security deposit of $500 back to me and that this transaction was completed. A couple of weeks later I receive an email from rvshare that the owner filed a claim for damages and I was asked by rvshare what kind of damage there was. I didn't know of any damage. The only thing was that my wife found a piece of plastic molding on the floor when we picked it up. That was it. On Oct 10th I received an email from rvshare that they were charging my credit card $398 for damages. I looked at my credit card account and there was a pending charge for that amount. I immediately called a Claims adjuster for rvshare and she explained that was for some sort of damages when i had the camper. I had to pay for insurance when I rented the camper. Company policy. She never did tell me what the $398 was for and I never did revieve any claims paperwork showing what I was paying $398 for. I told her that I was cleared by the owner on Sept 5th and my security deposit was returned. She told me that there could be more charges later. I asked for what and she couldn't tell me. Later that afternoon I received an email from her saying this account has been closed. I called my credit card company and had my card locked and closed in case anymore fraudulent transactions occurred. I will never ever deal with this company again.
Very tough to cancel booking request.
The RV owner cancelled my rental with Thanksgiving approaching. I am not sure I can have the same celebration as what I was planning. The company said that they would penalize the owner $350. That's good but I wasn't about to get another RV in the area knowing that it was so easy to have them cancel. The customer service fellow was very helpful. Also, the pricing is not transparent. Want to poop? That's an additional $50 per night! So it's like Spirit Airlines for the ground. Don't use it.
