We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.

The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

Annie is just the best, she carried out a very thorough eye test and took time to explain each part of the test. She is very professional and friendly and really put me at ease. A friendly welcome from the reception team as always.

My 2 appointments with Annie went well and I would be happy to see her for my next visit.
My 2 recent appointments went well and I felt that Annie, who did my annual check-up and then tests for my upcoming cataract surgery, was very competent and sympathetic. I am awaiting a letter/phone call for an appointment with an eye surgeon.

Most effective eye test I've ever had has resulted in a perfect prescription. And the lovely lady who patiently helped me choose new (heavily discounted) frames for both reading and distance glasses was a delight to work with to achieve quite a big style change for me. Excellent Care
The optometrist I saw was excellent. I felt v well cared for and the examination was thorough and not rushed. I choose to go to R Woodfalls as I have got fed up with going to high street opticians where the experience is v different.

The eye test service is very good- frame choice a bit limted
The eye test service is very good, very friendly. Took off a star because I find the choice of frames is too small / too expensive. So I always struggle to find some I like when I need to change my glasses.

The receptionists were welcoming and very helpful. Annie, the optician was very pleasant and talked me through all of the tests that she was going to do. She suggested that I purchase some sunglasses which I did. She was very professional. The staff who helped me pick out my glasses and fitted them were also very helpful.

Great Experience - Routine Eye Test
The reception staff were efficient and friendly. The optician that I saw, Annie, had a great manner. She was welcoming as well as thorough. I felt listened to and the conversation we had was informative. I came away feeling positive and would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking to have their eyes tested.

A very thorough eye examination with all findings clearly explained. Reception staff very friendly and even made me a coffee while i waited for eye drops to take effect!
