I've had good experiences with previous work bought here but if i could recommend anything it would be for the artists to use a better canvas. Maybe have a standard? Some of these are walmart quality.

Great experience working with Saatchi Art!
We have worked with Saatchi Art for 3 months now..from May 2026 - Aug 2026. We have been buying original paintings from the US and abroad.
We looked into other online art sites, but we landed on Saatchi because of their selection and built-in shipping charges. We had so much more confidence buying with the shipping included, after experiencing the anxiety of buying from Europe and the customs charges that were billed separately by the courier.
We were also impressed by the support staff! They worked behind the scenes with the artists on a few transactions, and smoothed out the issues quickly and professionally.
We still have another shipment in the works, and have complete confidence in that delivery.
The artwork that we have received, has been skillfully executed and beautiful!

Be careful with custom duties
I recently purchased a painting and was very pleased with the pre-sales support and the overall purchasing process. Unfortunately, I was less satisfied with the after-sales experience, particularly regarding the shipment and delivery.
I was initially informed that the artwork would be shipped from Poland, but it was in fact dispatched from Ukraine. In addition, I was advised that any DHL customs duties and taxes were included in the purchase price. However, I subsequently received an invoice from DHL requesting payment of these charges, which was both unexpected and disappointing.
I have asked for clarification and hopefully this will be solved.

Absolutely brilliant; easy to use, super-fast responses from the artist and Saatchi themselves and the art work was with me 3 days ahead of time. The artwork itself is more beautiful in person than in the pictures, I am blown away by the quality and craftsmanship. Timely Service But Disappointing With Muted Coloration
Service, communications, and delivery were outstanding. Art was well packaged and promptly delivered. However, the painting's colors were much more subdued (a critic might say, "washed out") than depicted virtually on the website. That was disappointing.

Many alternatives without the premium of a traditional gallery. When you buy a hard asset at anytime, you can pay a premium, buy at the market, buy at a value play or buy it distressed. If one is the millionaire next door, paying a premium goes against the core of how you got to the place of buying art. John

Great support provided
There was a problem with one of my art orders causing it to be lost in transit. (The problem was not caused by Saatchi Art). During this time, the Saatchi Art team of Erin and then Siting kept me up to date about developments and options. When it was clear the artwork was lost, they then helped me apply what I'd paid for the lost work to the purchase of a different piece by the same artist. That piece arrived this week, along with helpful instructions for how to get the rolled canvas properly supported and framed. Throughout the process, Erin and Siting were caring and professional. I much appreciate it.

Love this piece. The charcoal work on the figure is so expressive, and those orange accents really make it pop. Feels raw and alive in person.
