It was my first time going for umrah with my mother and we really enjoyed our experience. The Sadat group provided valuable information along the way, always on hand for any questions and also had a translator which is always useful. We would like to book with this group again for its ease and convenience.

My wife and I performed Umrah with Sadat Group from 22/12/25 to 03/01/26 and had an excellent, stress-free experience. From the very first meeting at Manchester Airport, the group leader from Sadat, Pir Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah Bukhari (Shah Saab) was welcoming, supportive, and highly organized, helping pilgrims with Ihram, providing clear communication via WhatsApp, and ensuring everyone felt comfortable.

The group consisted of around 65 people from across the UK, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere throughout the journey. In Makkah and Madinah, Pir Syed Munawar Hussain, Syed Usama Shah, and other Sadat staff ensured smooth hotel arrangements, guided Umrah rituals, and well-organized Ziyarat tours to historically significant sites. The English explanations provided by Syed Usama Shah were especially beneficial for younger and non-Urdu-speaking pilgrims.

I want to highlight the dedication, availability, and humility of the Sadat staff, particularly Shah Saab, who consistently made himself accessible for guidance and support. The group catered to different language needs, handled visas and logistics seamlessly, and allowed pilgrims to focus entirely on their worship.

I highly recommend Sadat Group for Umrah, and thank them for their professionalism, care, and spiritual guidance, I hope to be able to go with them again in the future, Inshallah.

Alhamdulillah, I chose to go with sadat group through local recommendations and me speaking to the older pir sahab personally prior to booking. Expectations met differently to what I thought a group would offer. As I had my son with me, who is a kidney transplant patient, pir sab reassured me during booking.

We were allocated a different hotel to the original Emar Grand. The rooms lacked comfort and the bathrooms were not of standard to what we would expect , very run down and unkept . I would not recommend to take this hotel especially for people with elders, children and ill health. I have written a separate review re hotel on its own page.

On a positive note ,We had support from people working alongside the group members, especially Ahmed Raza (based in Saudi) ad Saheb sab (from Saudi) who worked round the clock to support the pilgrims.

Ziyarahs were enjoyable, although a little rushed and missjng namaz in Masjid Qiblatain was disappointing as the Adhan for zohar had commenced, subsequently missing zohar salah in the haram on return.

Brother Usama was very good translating in English as he was with a group before ours otherwise it was difficult for non urdu speakers, youngsters, children to listen to urdu context early on in the week. This is something that needs to be considered for future generations, English translations throughout the visit, both verbally and on social media.

Even better if, all the groups were given the same level of khidma when travelling to Jeddah from Madinah via flight as we all paid the same price for package. If the previous 2 groups who paid the same price for package, why was flight not an option for the our group paying the same amount ?

Emar al manar hotel has significant building work around its complex which disrupted sleep for many of the families in the group, including us. We had to request a move as debris was falling on our window and the continuous bulldozing made it impossible to sleep for 2 days consecutively both in the day and night. The hotel management are not helpful,ignorant to our concerns.

Travel to Makkah to Madina was organised via coach, and whilst in Makkah we were informed we would leave at 10am with stops in between , reaching madinah between 6-8pm. Due to health reasons I chose to travel by Haramain train for my son and myself as a 8-10 hour journey was not ideal. This was an additional personal cost. Again this is not an ideal journey time
For some pilgrims.

Our journey to Jeddah from Madinah in the middle of the night via coach was rough with a driver who was not very well suited in his driving. Driving at speed and at one point drive with the coach tilted to pass through an overturned truck on the highway.

The driver got ranty with me because my son Requested to use the toilet in the coach - ( this is due to his health condition) and also a 6 hour trip to Jeddah anyone would want to use wc facilities- the toilet was apparently not functioning and if my son was to use it , the flush wasn't working and would cause leakage in the coach. A functioning toilet should be available for all on a long distance travel!!!! Basic needs should be available for travellers, and this should be checked by the group for ease of journey.

Umrah- we set off with the group but split in mataf due to the volume of crowd. Umrah was completed independently and we had no communications with the group leader for the rest of the day. My son and I navigated the umrah process independently and shukr it all worked out perfectly.

Communication via watsapp was sometimes delayed unless prompted. Again if brother usama hadnt relayed the message in English upon request, the non urdu speakers were not able to access.

There were some lovely couples and families that we knew we could reach out to if we needed any assistance, which is what makes the journey easy as we all are there for one another as an Ummah, so thank you to those wonderful people in the group.

Alternative nearby hotels close to haram were offered to families with personal health needs, why was this option not offered to all families who had health, disability issues?

JazakAllah for the group leaders for organising the laundry service and kajoor purchasing, which is appreciated.

Transparency when making enquiries regarding the umrah package should be clear.

An itinerary prior to leaving for umrah would be ideal as we didn't have any contact in person at Manchester airport until arriving at Jeddah.

Serving the families water or snacks as a token of goodwill and generosity, on the ziyarahs would be an incentive too, especially the groups with vulnerable and young children and elderly travellers.

I would also add, that giving an honest review is for the purpose of future pilgrims who don't fall into the trap of having to navigate their own Umrah journey.

Alhumdullilah my family and I have just completed our first Umrah with Sadat group. We chose this group after great consideration. We heard nothing but good from all the people that we knew that had travelled with the Sadat group. Even our local mosque knew of the leads which put our hearts at ease. After that it was just easy from start to finish. I will not go into too much detail but rest assured Insha Allah you will have the best experience! We had a mixture of ages and needs in our family and all were taken care of. Even other families had babies and no one struggled. What stood out the most for us was that the warmness and kindness that emanates from all of the members of the group. It was like we were all one big family. There was no judgement at all. We all come from different backgrounds and with different levels of understanding of our deen. Some of us at the start of our journeys and others at other points. We were not left alone to fend for ourselves at all. The support staff were very helpful too. The group leads held casual meet ups throughout the days and were on hand at all times. All the team were approachable which helped too. Peer Sahib is very enchanting. We were totally amazed at the amount of knowledge that Peer Sahib holds and the enchanting way that the knowledge was relayed. You could sit for hours and not be bored at all plus you went back to your room in awe. Peer Sahib relates the historical sites with passion and you are grabbed and taken into that journey wanting to learn more and more. There were many families that had completed their Umrahs multiple times with this group and that is a testimony in itself. IA we are hoping to come back again if Allah SWT wills it with our children IA. Last point this group was not the cheapest group we looked at,however it was worth every single penny as it is not just the comfort of the transport and hotel, you should look at the amount of knowledge and support too. The group were with you every step of the way. Just a suggestion, it maybe helpful if the group had an itenery for each of the days. My family and I had a wonderful experience and IA hope to visit the blessed cities with Sadat group again.

A beautiful first Umrah with an amazing tour group. Sadat group made the whole experience from start to finish spiritually uplifting, we gained so much knowledge and really understood the purpose of visiting the blessed cities of Makkah and Madina. Pir Saheb was kind and thoughtful in every interaction and no question was too much.

We as a family went to umrah with syed pir manawar hussain shah on the 13th nov 2025.
We are so glad we went with a knowledgalble and exprience person.
We had no issues from start to finish.
Hotels were close and clean no issues whatsoever.
Zayarat were execelent due to explaination in urdu aswel as in english to accomodate different laguages.
His team were profesional and accomodating and very helpful.
I highly recomend sadat travel for umrah and hajj In Sha Allah who ever will go with them will have unforgetable experience.

Went with the group this October and very glad I did. No issues at all. Excellent communication. Took us on multiple ziyarats and I am forever grateful for the amount of knowledge I have learnt with these guys. 10/10 hotels with nearby walking distance to the mosques. Big Thank You to Brother Awais and Pir Syed Sajjad Sahib for their hard work and efforts to make sure we get the best experience possible. Would definitely recommend to others and inshallah will be using their group again.

We went with Sadat for our first Umrah. We went as a family with our 3 young children. I cannot rate Sadat highly enough! They were organised and approachable if we had any questions. The whole experience was smooth, they are very knowledgeable and took us on various Ziyarats which was really enjoyable and a great learning experience. I highly recommend Sadat and will go with them again in the future In’sha’Allah.

Done hajj with sadat travels this year. My experience is what they promise and deliver are 2 different things. There coach services are very unreliable. You will either have an accident or not get to your destination like mina camps. Most of our group missed fajr prayers due to the coach driver turning up 3hrs late. The food in alaziya is atleast 2 days old, taste like rubber. Kenana hotel in alaziya has lots of issues like the smelly air con, hotel rooms phones not working, and water issues etc...
There coach drivers don't know the routes from Makkah to medinah. They wasted alot of our ibadat time. All they seem to care about is making videos and put them on all social media platforms, without our consent. Would not recommend anyone to do hajj with them

We did hajj 2025 with sadaat and it was the most amazing trip ever.
As a sister traveling I've been made so comfortable throughout the trip.
Can't fault anything.

Travelled with Sadat hajj and umrah for hajj 2025. They provided an amazing service. Both shah Saabs were avail on call 24 hrs for any assistance. Great hotel locations for both Harams. Highly recommended if anyone wants to go on hajj or umrah.

I recently had the privilege of performing Hajj with Sadat Travel and I can wholeheartedly say that it was an unforgettable, spiritually enriching experience. From start to finish, the professionalism, care, and attention to detail provided by this group exceeded all my expectations. We were acquainted by Peer Saab throughout the journey and continuously reassured and guided by them. As an individual a different array of emotions and questions dart in all directions especially for people whom are performing Pilgrimage for the first time, having someone like Peer Saab there whom is knowledgable in regard to the deen as a guide really helped me throughout this spiritual journey. Me and my husband along with his family just came back from an amazing umrah experience with the the Sadat group. We heard many great things about the organisation but experienced a phenomenal time ourselves this time. Thorough explanations throughout all the sight seeing as well as making the experience comfortable and easy to understand with both English and Urdu speakers. We were well cared and looked after and reassured help was always at hand while our stay at the hotel or while touring. I will definitely be travelling with them again in the near future and will highly recommend.

My husband and I just returned from our umrah trip. It was his first time visiting the blessed lands and our 1st time travelling with Sadat group. We had a fantastic experience.

I would definitely recommend to travel with sadat as they show you everything from doing umrah and ziyarats. Peer saab is a fantastic group leader with so much knowledge. He is a fantastic story teller and captured the history of the seerah so beautifully. You can feel his love for the Prophet peace be upon him.

I would and will travel with the Sadat group again

A very refreshing Umrah experience. The UK staff dealt with all my queries prior to my booking. Unfortunately the dates i wanted to go on had been fully booked, however the their team brought extra tickets to accommodate me and my family. Peer Syed Sajjad accompanied us on the trip. They were very funny and kept us all engaged. Their personality and knowledge is something you don't often see. The ziyarats in both cities were fantastic. We visited a total of 19 places. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the hot weather. The hotel we stayed in at Mecca was in the clock tower. Going with Shah sahib is worth every penny, especially if it's the first time you go Umrah.
