Zero stars… totally stressed me out in a Really difficult situation regarding broken windows at my property. The rudest jack the lad sniffing and laughing on the phone told me ‘let’s be honest we can’t give you a quote without measurements’ (I had been previously told by sales team they can offer an estimate if I have rough measurements within a few cms and would then attend property to measure up properly.). I haven’t been spoken to so rudely for a long time… shame on you. Property with potentially 15 sash windows to replace and you’ve certainly lost my business.

Terrible communication. Our measurements were taken weeks ago and all I want is a rough idea of when to expect installation. I have called twice and both times told to expect a call back, which never came, I've sent multiple emails, to no reply. I have no idea if they will be fitted in the next 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months as no one is replying to me.

Two first class operative.Kept us informed at all times and where always pleasant.

The initial price quoted was far higher than competitors (over 3 times). As soon as I questioned, significant discounts were immediately offered, which made the pricing feel dishonest and artificially inflated. This undermined my trust in the company and I declined to go ahead.

We had used Safestyle before and when we moved home we naturally chose to use Safestyle again. Unfortunately our experience the second time has not been good. The windows initially seemed OK but we were asked to make that decision within the time space of the fitter finishing as to get the job signed off so that we would pay them. This was our mistake because we felt pressurised we did not look fully at all the windows and doors as carefully as we should have. The fitter assured us that the issue he had with the patio door handles being incorrectly sent would be resolved shortly, a cover strip to cover the fixings would also be sent out as it was missing on the day of fitting. The fitter told us someone would be in touch to arrange for this to be done as a follow-up.
The next day when we cleaned the windows properly and we found a scratch over 25m in the front bay window. We also at that point realised that several of the other windows have not been cleaned properly in between the double glazed units leaving 'smears' between the glass which is not acceptable.
We initially rang the customer service number and made them aware as soon as possible so they could get back to us with an update. We have now been in touch several times to ask for further information about our complaint, however each time we call we are told that we will be contacted by someone within the company within the next couple of days. Our windows and doors were fitted at the start of November 2025.We are still awaiting anyone from Safestyle to contact us and it is now January 2026.We were going to use them for a relative to have their windows installed however now I would not recommended them to anyone in the future. Unfortunately they are very efficient to take the order and payment on completion but any follow up after the installation they are not interested In, despite the booklet telling you to contact them directly at Customer Services to get any issues resolved. We have tried as we said numerous times to get someone to help us with the issues however we wanted to now leave a review for anyone thinking of using Safestyle to think twice and go to another company.

After measuring on the day of the fitting the fitter said the window he had would not fit it was too small. After a further 2 measurements they came to fit the patio door on the day we had the worst weather due to a named storm. We had just had a new floor laid so didn’t want this fitted that day as the rain was really torrential, they wanted to still fit it. When they finally came to fit the patio door they fitted it incorrectly resulting in huge drafts coming in which blew our blinds. They finally came back and had to take it all out and refit it. It’s very substandard and for the high cost we could have got better standard for less if we shopped around. We chose this company as they promised to fit the new patio door before we had our new floor laid which didn’t happen due to the number of errors. Will never use this company again.

One star is probably about the best I can offer. Day of installation one guy turned up sticking of weed and explained that the other two fitters got drunk watching the game the night before and didn't show. Workmanship is very poor with water ingress on one window causing damp. Can provide photos of apauling fitted door which was supposed to be high security.

I recently had french doors fitted in my frontroom, which was a normal window and needed cutting out for the doors to be fitted. As i am also a builder and have been for 30+ years and i am very judgemental of other builders in my home,so i would like to share how impressed i was with the work ethic of the workers doing the job.they were polite, tidy, quick, and professional and i would recommend then to anyone.

The experience started with pressuring sales tactics and being miss sold on a quality product which i can confirm it is not. Also given a one time only sales offer which was valid for the duration of your sales visit and thats it afterwards the price will go up by 5 grand leaving you extremely pressurisied to accepting the quote and not having any time to think or consider any other offers. Fitters started the day arriving an hour late, they were more focused on getting home early rather than doing their job properly. They scuffed doors carrying windows through the house and damaged an external pipe on the back of the property which they refused to take responsibility for! Well it wasn't broken before you arrived guys!
So safetyle have also refused to do anything about this or compensate for it. A few of the window frames themselves were also scuffed and have scratches on the windows, and let in a terrible draft worse than the 50 year old windows which they replaced. The fitters also forgot to put basic sealant along the outside of the frames again because they were so desperate to just get back home and beat the Friday traffic. I will add also the fitters were rude and extremely impatient with my partner when it came to signing off the work I was on my way back from work and recieved around 30 missed calls from my partner which i realised once i got home and this was because they were pressurising her to find out where i was even though I said the day before to the fitters I will be back tomorrow at a specific time. After numerous attempts to get them to confirm a date to come back and resolve the issues they said its going to be in 2 months time.
I would also like to add that safestyle are owned by anglian who also own everest windows so if you think youre getting a better price with safestyle your are not!!!

I contacted Safestyle UK to arrange an appointment on behalf of my parents to have new doors fitted at their home. I’ve previously used Safestyle myself, so I assumed they would be a safe and reliable choice.
From the very first call, the operator was overly focused on whether I would be present, despite me clearly explaining that it was my parents’ house and they would be there. It was obvious they were more interested in identifying a “decision maker” than understanding the actual requirement.
An appointment was booked for 10am the following day. At 10am, instead of an advisor arriving, I received a call from a manager claiming they had made 16 appointments for 10am with only one advisor available. I found this hard to believe, but went along with it. He then pushed to rearrange the visit for 5.30pm when I would be home – again, clearly trying to ensure both “decision makers” were present.
At around 5pm, a salesman called. I explained very clearly that all we needed was for him to measure two doors and provide a price – we already knew what we wanted. He immediately became defensive and stated he “couldn’t be there without the homeowner as he wasn’t insured.” I pointed out that the homeowner was standing in front of him, and I was not the homeowner.
Shortly after, I received a call from his manager, Ricky, whose behaviour was frankly shocking. He accused me of “taking the mickey” out of them because I hadn’t told them earlier that morning I wouldn’t be there. His tone was aggressive and dismissive. I explained that my parents had recently been burgled at knifepoint and that this was urgent – we simply wanted new doors for security. He showed no empathy whatsoever.
Instead, he told me he was pulling the salesman, said he’d “see me in a few years when the windows I buy elsewhere don’t meet building regulations,” and ended the conversation. Completely unprofessional, threatening, and unnecessary.
It is painfully clear that Safestyle are only interested in same-day closes, not customer needs, circumstances, or basic respect. I’ve worked in customer care and sales for 13 years, and this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
I will never use Safestyle again, and I will actively advise others to avoid them whenever given the opportunity.
Disgusting behaviour from start to finish.

Im a returning customer.
Sales man gave me a good price! .
THEN the sales manager tried to tell me that things were not included in the original contract.
Scaffolding (this had been discussed)
A window that had been measured and discussed, including openings and colour.
And extra work.....? Im still waiting on the explanation of this one all to the tune of
* £2, 000 EXTRA*
It seems safestyle are back to their seedy sales style...

I hate leaving negative reviews for things but I am really at my wit's end with Safestyle.
The salesman that came to my house to take my order had to ring his manager 3 times to check he was doing in correctly (which should have been my first red flag really) but I needed a new back door on my new house asap so I decided to go with them for speed.
The surveyor called at my house and I told him that the salesman had told me that we could have a letterbox installed in the midrail of the windows as the door I picked (and loved) did not have a letter box. The surveyor told me this was fine and jotted it down on his plans. I chose the Paris door with the long metal handle (I have a chronic pain condition that often causes issues with my hands so I thought this handle would be best)
A short while later I get an email to say that he was wrong and I needed to pick a new door because the letterbox could not be installed in the windows. He sent me a list of other doors I could choose. I picked a different door as it was very similar to the Paris and thought nothing of it.
On the day (I mean days) of installation the fitters did a very shoddy and half-arsed job. But when they fitted the door I noticed the long handle I chose wasn't there. Upon calling management I was then told this handle is not compatible with the "door you chose" and "I don't want to sound harsh but you got what you paid for love". When I explained that I had not been told about this change and that it would have impacted my decision he said basically tough luck.
After the second day of trying to work while the doors were installed I was told I needed to sign two forms before they could leave my house. There was a whole fuss about the fact I didn't have a printer and I feel like I was rushed and pushed into signing things before I even got a proper look at the doors.
Once they left I noticed numerous issues with the installation and contacted Safestyle to report these. An engineer is due in the new year to rectify these issues.
I have heard from my finance company today that I am going to start paying for these doors before installation is resolved and customer service said "you signed the completion paperwork with the installer"
I feel at every turn they have been shady and underhanded in their dealings with me and I still have not had any updated paperwork to reflect the change of door etc despite asking twice.
I'd say if you're thinking of using Safestyle DON'T!

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. We’ve had an absolute nightmare with this company and a shambolic customer experience. We ordered on 20th October and were categorically promised it would be installed before Christmas. The installation date was scheduled for 26th November, the afternoon before this date we got a call to say it was cancelled and we were told we’d receive a call ‘tomorrow’ with a new date. We did receive a call the next day from their service team asking how our installation went…
When I informed the lady it never happened she said she would find out a new date for us and let us know asap. We never received a call. Despite me then ringing 6 times over a 2 week period constantly chasing for updates, every time I was just told a manager would give me a call but no one has ever actually rang me. The basics in customer service don’t apply here clearly as whilst I’m told they have no control over when orders are made, they clearly can control actually communicating to customers but choose not to.
After my final call I was told to raise a request with cancellations. I did this and after a week I am still waiting for a reply no rang today for an update and they had no record of my request, despite them giving me the email, and again I’ve been told to expect a call….

Dealt with Michael to get new sash windows fitted in our flat. Has been incredibly helpful and quick to response, even outside of work hours. I received all the information I needed within minutes of requesting. Highly recommend.

To be clear, I did not buy my new front door from Safestyle so I am not writing about the quality of the product.
In fact I have given 2 stars rather than 1 as the product looked decent but I did not accept the quote. I was affronted by the initial £7000 quote which I rejected and which led to the patronising "I'll just call my manager to see if he can reduce it" trick which miraculously saw an instant £2500 reduction. When I said I'd think about it but it was still much more than I'd anticiapted, I was called back 3 days later by a sales manager who told me he had "an offer I wouldn't be able to refuse". When he eventually told me, it was now £4000 less than the initial quote.
I have just ordered an identical spec. door from a local company for £1800, inc vat, supply & installation (£5200 less than Safestyle).
Yes, Safestyle provide an all-in service and their product appears to be good quality but......"don't take the mickey!" And don't prey on the vulnerable.

The installation of the windows in April 2023 went very smoothly and we were highly satisfied with the installation team etc.
However, in June 2025 we discovered that the wind was just blowing thru the bedroom windows. On contacting Safestyle we were referred to the 'insurance backed guarantee' (didn't actually manage to speak to anyone at Safestyle).
My main complaint though is having to pay a policy excess (even though its not much - its the principle of it) for something that I believe to be due to either a substandard product or poor installation (the person who repaired them agreed with me).

Follow up... received a response from the company who took over Safestyle - but not their issues... Funny how some names appear in the same records on Companies House.
Surprised - not really
