Im here to warn you all about using this company. I used them not too long ago and what sold it to me was the 10 year guarantee. They went bust and started up again under safestyle UK, which means my 10 year guarantee is useless! I had to pay someone to come and fix my poorly fitted front door

Rubbish and waste of time.
I have high ceilings windows to be fitted. I rang them up a quote and explain to them it high ceiling. they said not worry we will sort it. the young lad came over looked at it had cup of tea chatting away.looked how high it is said yeah we'll sort this out. but begging me to pay I'll pay my deposit of 500 pounds then he went. the surveyor rang me jack the lad. I explained to him how high it is. they start making excuses And he was rude. he said that he will contact me after you spoke to his supervisors. never rang me I had to chase him. still rude on the phone you want me to take a day off for him to come and visit he said he'll come down and look from the back garden and take a picture. then I had a cancellation letter saying that they can't do it what a waste of time and money.. please don't go with these lot they're waste of time.

We have just had a quote from the lovely Ben at Safestyle who I can’t recommend enough. He is very knowledgeable about all of their products and was very patient in explaining all of our options clearly. This is our second time of using Safestyle and would not hesitate to use again!

Safestyle designed new French windows for our kitchen, so they they enhanced security, maximised the light and minimised heat loss. The doors arrived to time and Jack fitted them beautifully and left the kitchen in good order. We had a small problem with one door and Safestyle responded to put it right immediately.
We’re delighted with the doors and several people have made admiring comments. No hesitation in recommending Safestyle. §

Fantastic service from start to finish. The installation was carried out professionally and to a very high standard. I’m extremely pleased with the result and would confidently recommend them to anyone needing roof trim work.

Reviewers and potential customers: See my Anglian Home Improvements review. Trust your gut, the employees of the unholy trinity of window and door companies will lie to you. They will try to insult your intelligence and assume you have no capacity to fact check their nonsense. If you are unfortunate enough to have taken up their services, take photos of literally everything prior to them attending, whilst in attendance and after they leave, be prepared to seek out an informal qualification in window and door installation in the likely event they cut corners and lie about it.
They will assume you’re stupid and they are the experts of which I’ve yet to see proof of.
CHECK YOUR NEW INSTALL CLOSELY - things to look for but in no way limited to, excessively wide casing trims particularly where previous windows had none or very narrow ones (indicative of incorrect measurements taken and windows being way too small for the space, or shoddy unsealed inner parts, damage, incorrectly prepared frame structures) lack of sealant under outside window ledges which leaves screws exposed, warped and/or cracked door frames (often signs of not correctly placing packers behind fixing screw points) well overshooting the inch wide jamb space available to insert fixing screws, particularly where they compress the weather seal seat (raised lip that is part of the door right off the production line and goes all the way around the jambs of windows and doors) this is a sign that they did not bother to screw pilot holes which is standard practice and they likely did that rather than arrange for the structural frame to be correctly prepared and/or due to be too lazy to use packers. Increased general noise rather than a reduction after new install (like neighbours talking normally in their garden) pay attention to whether the chatter is louder in certain spots of the same room as this can help identify where inadequate insulating sealant has been used, and can be a sign of inadequate sealing of the inner workings and/or incorrect sealant being used overall. Sudden appearance of damp spots or rapidly growing black mould. Check in the crevices of smaller windows and frames to make sure screws are in properly and all accounted for, and check the window jambs to ensure the screws have not caused warping of the frame, and not rubbing against or overlapping/warping the black seal/gasket. Check glazing seals for any warps, damage or compressions, no matter how small. They will state that it won’t affect the speed at which the argon gas escapes, but any defects will contribute to this. Seal defects will also add to an increased level of outside noise due to the scientific nature of how noise reduction works. Check the joins inside and outside for gaps, check that where window casings trim and general trims are used, they are adequately sealed all the way around, both inside and outside. Check that behind door hinges are adequately sealed, check that doors are flush when closed and handle pulled up, and that windows do not feel stiff to open and close (this might be due to lack of lintels which is more common in old properties where their original windows were built to be a structural element, when these were removed in favour of Upvc, not all contractors would have added lintels due to building regulations being less strict then. Upvc windows are not structural elements and it shouldn’t be assumed that the structural frame has adequate support just because there were pre existing plastic frames fitted. You should not be able to see the jamb from outside with the door closed, check they have installed safety glass at all risk points and the glazing is correctly marked (see building regulation guidance for risk point requirements.
In public responses across multiple profiles, representatives referenced Anglian Building Products as a shared department and described related brands as sister companies. Based on this, I considered it appropriate to reference the wider group context when leaving feedback.

Looking to purchase a new front door… had a gentleman called Callum that wanted to chat.. already input all my credentials online he then asked for them again.. want to book me in for a home visit to have my door measured up.. couldn’t give me a price until this was done.. he became quite rude when I said forget it I’ll go elsewhere.. told me Everest were the same as he assumed I would go there instead all I wanted was an idea it’s easier to buy a car than a door!!!… check all negative reviews imaging what would happen if something went wrong if I had ordered.. the staff need to go to charm school…

We were due to get our windows installed on the 12th but the installers were not made aware of the job until the morning of. This is understandably not the installers fault but rather the team coordinating. Then when they arrived the next day, the depo never provided handles for the windows, so we have been left with mismatched and missing handles. There was also a crack on the window upon installation which I had noted down on the sheet to say; but I was told it was all sorted as someone was going to come out a fix it. It's been 16 days since the install, and we are yet to get the handles and the crack fixed. We have had to call every few days to chase and are always assured someone will be in contact with us, but we have had absolutely no communication. The staff who work on customer service are lovely and polite, but the local office is really poor and dragging out a very fixable issue. This has went form such a good effective experience to now being a bit of a nightmare. We have tried to be patient but after spending a chunk of money on windows our patience is wearing thin.
Edit: Just to edit and say when we managed to get in contact with someone they were extremely quick in sorting the issues and the guy who came around to do the repairs was very nice. Overall, it has not been a fantastic experience but everyone has been incredibly helpful.

I had so many issues, that are being echoed throughout these complaints. From mis-selling of contracts, to mismeasured doors that left my property open for weeks on end! Missing deadlines, appalling customer service, damage to my property. When I wanted to raise a complaint I was threatened with legal action. Disgusting behaviour throughout. Now they refuse to speak to me so I am preparing my own legal action against this company and would urge many others that have had similar issues to consider this. This is the worst, most unethical company I have ever come across and I WILL taking them to court as the refuse to co operate once they have your money!

From the original quote I felt a lot of pressure to go ahead with ordering, but after a negotiation on price went ahead as a friend had a great experience. They called a couple of days before the installation, to say they had accidentally ordered one pane and side post of the bay window in brown. I felt a lot of pressure by the team to go ahead with the installation , with insurances that they would get it sorted asap. Stupidly, I agreed. The installers were nice enough and did a good job. However the customer service was terrible, they made me feel completely stupid and in the wrong for asking questions. Few weeks later they had the right coloured pane, but no when a different installer showed up they said oh no they haven't ordered the right bit. I felt a lot of pressure to sign off the finance agreement, which I said absolutely not as the job wasn't done. As soon as I said that the installer left rapidly, I was left feeling very badly about it all. Finally it was sorted after another few weeks. The area manager promised to come out and view the job. He never bothered, I had a lot of 'its not my job, I'm just doing this as a favour.' He also promised a good will gesture for all the inconvenience and that never happened. The windows are lovely, but the customer service was absolutely terrible.

We just had our new front door installed and it seems fine. But I'm not happy that I will need to use a key on the inside to lock the door every time I come in.
This was never mentioned by the salesman who came round, or the guy who came to take measurements and discuss the options. I'm sure we talked about not getting locked out when closing the door, which is what we wanted (happy to lock it from outside every time we need to), and he could see what we currently had on the other door. I just wanted it to work the same as what we had.
I don't understand why anyone would choose that design feature of needing a key to lock from inside. Our previous handle required key on the outside to lock and on the inside you would put the handle up and turn the other handle, no key required. Needing a key for both sides is incredibly irritating.
It says this is for security so that people can't smash the glass and get in, but our door has no glass, it's just a solid door.
I wish they had made this clear and provided options for both methods. My fault for not realising sooner, but now we are stuck with this door handle that cost a lot of money and I'm already annoyed about, and it's only been installed for an hour.
I'll get used to it but I would prefer to be satisfied with the choice to go with these people.

Possibly one of the worst experiences of my life. They only came out to give me a quote and the salesman took a sh*t in my toilet and blocked it. The whole house stunk all day until the plumber came and unblocked the toilet . Yes the company paid for the plumber but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place . The salesman should have left the apt and sh*t himself in his car not my house .

Purchased a door from safestyle in 2021 and have had nothing but problems with it ever since. We had their engineers out twice and still continued to have issues.
I called in November as we were locked out of our house with our 3 month old daughter as the door had jammed again. I was told they had gone into administration in 2023 so they couldn’t help.
I was told to contact the warranty company but that they don’t have an emergency call out. The operator was very unsympathetic to the fact that I was a lone female stuck outside a door that had been supplied and fitted by safestyle with a 3 month old baby.
Awful service. Would absolutely not recommend

Pete O'Connor was our consultant this weekend and he was absolutely fantastic 😊. We were dubious about the process, expecting the "hard sell" or unrealistic prices for our budget....but what a great experience we had. Pete took the time to talk through the product specifications, our options, design ideas and all the cost calculations and breakdowns. Pete made the process easy, gave us confidence in what we were buying and added that personal touch to the process by getting to know us and not just selling to us 😁 Thanks Pete
