My experience with this door company has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The initial meeting went well, and the salesperson I spoke with was lovely—so I paid my deposit feeling confident. Unfortunately, everything that followed was the complete opposite.
Once it came time to book the installation, I was messed around repeatedly. The company made an error with the initial booking, then kept changing the time they would arrive. Communication was consistently poor—unless, of course, they were contacting me for payment.
When I raised concerns, the manager reluctantly offered a £50 “goodwill gesture,” but did so in a rude and dismissive manner, even saying, “we shouldn’t be giving anything really.” Not exactly what you expect from a company claiming to value customers.
After installation, I reported damage to the door and sent photos. Instead of arranging a suitable time with me, they sent someone out unannounced. When I explained how unhappy I was with the overall service, the managers showed no interest in resolving things and were extremely rude to deal with.
I will not be using this company again. They have shown no respect for customer satisfaction, and their communication and professionalism were genuinely shocking.

This review is regarding the Safe Style Branding, in March 2023 we paid top money to have a ‘reputable’ company ( Safe Style ) supply and fit a brand new exterior back door. We could have gone cheaper, but cheaper-less known companies don’t come with that guarantee one would expect from the bigger company brands.
Moving on to early 2026 and our door has water pouring in when it rains, try contacting Safe Style to be told “the Safe Style of 2023 went into liquidation” but the brand name continued without any break in business. We have to contact the insurance company “ For warranty-related support, please contact InstallSure, the insurance provider for Safestyle warranties.
The insurance company want a quote to the cost-of repair, called Safe Style for a quote; ‘sorry we only quote on products we supplied’
So I contacted a local upvc company, explained the situation…. We can quote, but at a cost - why? Because the insurance company rarely use a company you obtain a quote from.
Also if the payment is made by credit card, the insurance group won’t pay, they refer you back to your credit card supplier
All in all my opinion is that the whole process is a corporate scam, go into liquidation but continue trading - just not honouring previous work.
So before you choose these ‘big companies’ look into their histories, and don’t just trust a branding

Worst decision I ever made when it comes to this house was using safestyle.
First off the salesman. I dont fall for sob stories, good job really. Sitting listening to him go on about how his Mum passed away and how amazing the NHS is after finding out my wife was a nurse and how he'd "give us his best price" in honour of his Mum. I was young and naive at the time he came and thought that the 3% discount was a good price. Not great but cheaper than the other quotes. To be fair thats probably the only relatively decent thing about my experience with safestyle.
Let's start with the windows. Filters that let in drafts, big drafts, started after about 3 years. Ive had to replace them myself. The sealant they used failed after about 4 months, replaced it myself, one of the downstairs opening windows has blown, replaced it myself. Not great but it happens.
However the problems with the front door aren't small problems.
First off the fitters. One stank of body odour so bad I could still smell it after he left. Maybe not his fault but it doesnt help matters.
Under the handle a huge hole. There is no way the fitters didnt see it. Didn't mention it. Had to get a new door. They sent a new door. The door frame doesnt fit so there is about an inch wide gap that they filled with sealant. The same terrible sealant they used for the windows. After a few months water started coming through everytime it rained. The weather guard on the door started to rust after about 18 months, water was pooling inbetween the skirting and the door frame which I didnt know about until I removed the skirting because the water coming in had wrecked it. I complained, got a "send us your job number" 2 days later they went into administration and never heard from again. In the end after hundreds of phone calls and emails I cut my losses abd fitted a new door and frame.
Don't use safestyle. Please do not use safestyle. Ive had nothing but problems and what was already an expensive job turned into a very very expensive job and a nightmare.

Tried to quote £3k for 2 small kitchen windows. Then said they could drop it to £1400 if we allowed them to take photos! No thanks! Quote the correct price in the first place!

David was couteous and efficient, and ensured we had a thorough understanding of the product and options available. Additional discounts we were able to secure were the icing on the cake!

Very pleased with the quality of the installation. Andi Young and Kyle brindley did a fantastic job. Very helpful and patient when I had to sort the dogs out and then explaining the products aswell

James is a good salesman and understood what we needed, he did a lot of work into creating a cost proposal that reflected our budget and requirements. I am grateful that he was on point for our purchase.
Lee, who came in to measure & verify, was also very polite and efficient.
Above all, the two guys who came in to fit the windows were top professionals. Super efficient, clear communication. I'd suggest slightly better care when it comes to putting dust sheets down but overall, really pleased with the work, professionalism and the product.
Would recomended defo.

Fitter was on time and didn’t finish until job was completed. Very pleased with the doors, a great improvement

We were very pleased with the fitting of two large front windows for our bungalow. Gareth and his partner arrived on time and were very professional and seemed to work so efficiently as a team. Everything seemed to go smoothly and we are delighted with the result.

Great services. The team has installed my front door on time. The team (especially Kieran Conway) is so friendly able to guide and help professionally. Strongly recommended. I will be definitely use them again in the future.

Fantastic service especially from the fitters, they explained everything they were doing and what each step was, I knew exactly what was happening and it was very satisfying knowing what was going on, the fitters were very polite and delivered a clean service making very little mess with great efficiency well impressed

When I decided to change my front door, I chose Safestyle. I had one of their agents call and arranged a time to come out and discuss what I was looking for. He was such a nice man. The one thing was he let me tell him what I was looking for, he didn’t try to point me away from my choice and that was such an important thing for me. I didn’t have to wait weeks on end either which was great. The guy who came to fit it was really nice, he got in with the job, no hanging around drinking tea and chatting on his mobile. All in all really brilliant from start to finish.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS experience with Safestyle. A 2 day fitting job has taken a week and is still not finished. The wrong items have been sent and the damage to my walls is unacceptable. The fitters are rude and turned up 5 hours late today.
UPDATE: they forced me to sign a satisfaction report saying that they would then compensate me financially for the damage. They have NOT compensated me and are no longer responding to emails. They are a FRAUDULENT company - avoid at all costs.

Have used this company three times before, but they have been taken over by Anglia Windows and the service was awful. Job cancelled three times, the first two times they didn't tell me until half way through the morning that they were supposed to be there, so furniture moved, curtains taken down and dog put in kennels for the day. No one contacted me to rearrange the fittings, I had to phone the office repeatedly. On the third time they did at least phone the afternoon before they were due so I could cancel the kennels. After the third cancellation I threatened to cancel the contract. By the time they arrived to do the job the scaffolding they were supposed to use had been taken back by Travis Perkins. The men who finally fitted the windows were brilliant, and the windows look good. The arrangements were very badly handled.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I saved for eight years to be able to replace my windows, going without each month to afford this investment in my home. Unfortunately, the experience with Safestyle has been extremely distressing.
The windows were installed so poorly that they are unsafe. Three windows have failed to open properly, and my front door has visible gaps large enough to put my finger through. This is completely unacceptable for a company claiming professional installation.
I waited five months for two windows that would not close to be replaced, leaving my home insecure throughout winter and over Christmas. During that time, someone could easily have forced entry.
When replacements were finally installed, one of the new windows failed again almost immediately.
The warranty has proven meaningless, with long delays and ongoing unresolved faults. After spending years saving for this work, I am left with unsafe windows, stress, and ongoing issues.
I strongly advise others not to use this company.

Excellent communication and thoughtful professional service from both Stuart and Simon. Highly recommend this company as the product is amazing and looks beautiful now it's installed. Thank you Stuart for sorting put the issues and your thorough explanations.

I am extremely disappointed with Safestyle Windows and Doors.
I ordered a door in November, and after months of waiting, the installation was finally scheduled for February. I had to book annual leave from work specifically for this appointment, as Safestyle advised the fitter would arrive between 8am and 9am.
At 8:50am on the day of installation, I received a call telling me the fitter could no longer make it. This meant rearranging for another date, requiring me to take yet another day off work.
When they finally did attend, they arrived with a damaged door and expected me to wait an additional three weeks for a replacement. After already waiting since November and sacrificing two days of annual leave, this is completely unacceptable.
The lack of organisation, communication, and basic quality control is shocking. Customers should not have to bear the cost of repeated scheduling failures and damaged products.
At this stage, I have lost confidence in Safestyle’s ability to deliver what was promised.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I only needed one Window, only positive from this experience was the sales person arrived on time. I said I didn’t want the whole sales patter as it’s take 45 minutes and I only needed one simple white window.
Salesperson took a call whilst taking to me and stayed on the phone 5 mins
Then allegedly was locked out of his account, so couldn't do the design, so he left telling me he would call me later with a price or email me and hasn’t bothered to do either.
I was perfectly honest when I made the appointment that it was for one Window, clearly he felt it was a waste of his time!
What a shoddy service all round

Shaun MC was brilliant. Can’t fault the work and result!
