We had a sales call today after booking a survey (we were expecting a visit) to talk crap for an HOUR to then tell us a new UPVC front door cost £4500 😮 miraculously reduced it to 1800. We decided to go elsewhere!

Safestyle rep wanted me to pay a deposit without giving me anything in writing, this felt like a massive scam

As only just ordered I can only comment on service to this point
I found the quote process very thorough, competative, attentive to needs and very accommodating
No complaints when I requested multiple changes once quote was delivered
Very pleased so far

I had a lovely lady called Mel visit me, she took the measurements and got me a quote, she tried her best to accommodate me. Unfortunately I the price was too high and I do not want to pay monthly, I would have loved to have given her an order.
Well done Mel you were brilliant.
Kind regards
Sheila

THEY SENT ME A QUOTATION FOR 12K FOR 8 WINDOWS AND 1 COMPOSITE DOOR. AND THEN STARTED THE SAGA OF PUSH SALES FROM BEN HE WANTED ME TO MAKE A DECISION THEN AND THERE AND MAKE A 15% DEPOSIT. Great consultation with Vijay. Very easy going and matter of fact. Didn’t feel as though I was being sold to. Had a lovely chat and bought some windows!

Vijay arrived promptly and explained all my options regarding a new front door. Was able to help me out with the price. Also have a date not too far in the future to have the door installed. Great experience not too much waffle.

We are extremely disappointed with the aftercare service from Safestyle
Following the installation of our new windows and doors (costing over £17,000), we have been left with £1,800 worth of damage to our specialist render. The operatives attempted to carry out sand and cement repairs in the rain, which resulted in the material not setting properly. It has since run down the front of our property and over the front windows, leaving the house in an appalling state.
This situation should never have happened. With proper care and attention during the installation and remedial works, the damage could have been avoided entirely.
To resolve the matter, Safestyle have offered £250, which they consider “fair and reasonable.” We fail to understand how £250 can be viewed as reasonable when the actual cost to repair the damage is £1,800. The offer does not come close to covering the remedial work required and feels dismissive of the scale of the issue.
The installation itself may have been satisfactory, but the aftercare and handling of this problem has been extremely poor. We expected far better service and accountability from a company of this size.
Very disappointed.

Asked for a quote a front door & back door.
Visit was nice enough, very friendly, very chatty. However did not quote for back door at all, even though I saw it on the notes in his hand.
Quoted almost over £4k for a front door and fitting, which was way above what I expected. This was within 5 mins discounted to £2200. This threw me a bit and said I will make a decision later.
I did not call back, and I received a call a week later, now offering me the door for £1500. I rejected the offer.
I understand they have a business to run, and money/profits are key, however if agreed to the door on the first quote, I would have been overcharged on a door by almost £3000. I lost trust and could no way go along with purchase from Safestyle. If they are prepared to try and hookwink you in to paying over the odds for a door, then would the 10 year guarantees on the door/glass/locks be worth the paper they are written on.

We had a consultation in October was advised we would be able to get a refund if we cancelled prior to surveyor visit. We were also told this on the phone when we contacted to cancel as circumstances had changed. After countless calls and emails we received a letter advising no refund available even though no work or surveyor visit had happened. We feel like we were tricked by the agent as they said we could get a further discount if we paid a deposit there and then without time to review the contract. We believe this was a marketing tactic to get the sale by putting pressure on us to agree before getting full details. They verbally lied to us saying we could get a refund if no work or surveyor has visited.

Was initially happy with safestyle, they gave me a very good quote for a patio door, two standard windows, a composite front door and two bow windows all in anthracite grey just before Christmas, no gimmicks, no promotional offers.
So decided to get it done in two stages.
February 3rd, installers came and fitted patio door and the two standard windows.
It was getting dark when they left, but all looked ok, except there was a mark on the inside of one of the glass units in a window, I pointed this out to the installers and they agreed and made a note of it and said it would be replaced. Minutes after they finished someone from company rang me and asked if all was Ok and asked for the balance to be paid for the said windows and patio door, once again I mentioned the mark (and once again they said it would be replaced ) I then trustingly paid the balance.
After another 10 minutes or so, someone from the company rang me again and said he could probably get me a better price on the composite door and bow windows ( to be honest, I was happy with original price and would have paid the deposit ) after about half an hour he got back to me, only this time he came back with a price which was £500 higher than the original quote, stating that the original quote had a promotion on it. I don't recall a promotion on it.
Needless to say, I told them, I didn't want to go forward with them.
It was only the next day in broad daylight, I noticed that no silicone had been applied to the exterior sides of the patio door and the silicone applied to the top of the patio door was quite frankly, absolutely not done to a very good standard, but it was done in anthracite grey, whereas the windows were done in clear silicone and again not done to a good standard (no tape had been used to create a fine line).
I'm a Joiner by trade and have installed a lot of uPCV myself.
So now, I'm going to have to rectify it myself, especially now that I'm not going any further forward with them and no doubt, they will not come and replace damaged window unit, I have not heard anything from them yet, admittedly, the installion was done just under two weeks ago.
I have emailed them 3 days ago with photo attachments of said issues, so far no reply and to be honest I'm not expecting a reply.
I have used safestyle in the past and been happy with them, unfortunately, I wont be using them again and will not be recommending them to anyone.
I have now had a new quote from a local company ( who I have also used in the past and wish I had used them for this job) and they have come in with a quote of £1000 less than safestyle to finish off what I need doing on this job.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Less than a year ago we paid a lot of money for new doors.
Our bedroom has large patio doors and windows. Before Christmas they started leaking, curtains and carpet damaged. I contacted them and someone came out 6th January, was told it might work (stopping the water coming in) it has made no difference. I contacted again to be ignored. Eventually after putting in a formal complaint someone was booked to come out last Friday. No one turned up or even contacted me. I closed my shop for the day and lost money for nothing. With all the rain at the moment it’s really not a good time to ignore. I again contacted and asked for a reply by 5 today and nothing. I have no choice but to take legal action and I won’t be quiet. Please stay away from these fraudsters!!!! Worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!
Reply, and yet here I am still waiting….

Decent products but atrocious workmanship and customer service. They were scheduled to complete my project before Christmas ’25. They brought the wrong lintel for the front window; corrected that but left for Christmas without patching around this window, leaving the inner wall exposed to winter elements (still the same at the point of writing this in Feb); fitted the incorrect door furniture; agreed to replace the front door (not the spec I ordered); left debris inside and all around the outside of my house (I couldn’t open my garage door until I moved the biggest pile) and failed to turn up when scheduled. When their builder finally appeared several weeks later, he hadn’t been given a work list so didn’t bring the materials or equipment required; he only repaired their own poor plastering, none of the other concerns listed and agreed.
I raised a complaint to escalate the issues but this was simply forwarded to the team who’ve continuously let me down. Trying to engage satisfactory communication is like trying to catch water!

We previously used Safestyle on two occasions — once at our old house and again for our current front door — both before the company went into liquidation. On both of those jobs, the service and workmanship were very good, which is why we felt confident getting back in touch to upgrade our windows.
Unfortunately, since the takeover, our experience has been extremely disappointing. We booked an appointment for a quote at 7pm, but no one turned up. Despite this, we were sent a quote earlier that same morning for a door, which clearly wasn’t for us as nobody had been to the property to measure or discuss anything.
When I called the company, they were apologetic and said the issue would be passed on to management and that someone would be in touch but no one called although we already rearrange the appointment, only for them to call again to move it because it was inconvenient for them. On the rearranged date, once again, no one showed up.
Given our previous positive experiences, this was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication, reliability, and basic organisation means we won’t be using the company again, and it’s a shame to see such a drop in service compared to how Safestyle operated before liquidation

Im here to warn you all about using this company. I used them not too long ago and what sold it to me was the 10 year guarantee. They went bust and started up again under safestyle UK, which means my 10 year guarantee is useless! I had to pay someone to come and fix my poorly fitted front door

Rubbish and waste of time.
I have high ceilings windows to be fitted. I rang them up a quote and explain to them it high ceiling. they said not worry we will sort it. the young lad came over looked at it had cup of tea chatting away.looked how high it is said yeah we'll sort this out. but begging me to pay I'll pay my deposit of 500 pounds then he went. the surveyor rang me jack the lad. I explained to him how high it is. they start making excuses And he was rude. he said that he will contact me after you spoke to his supervisors. never rang me I had to chase him. still rude on the phone you want me to take a day off for him to come and visit he said he'll come down and look from the back garden and take a picture. then I had a cancellation letter saying that they can't do it what a waste of time and money.. please don't go with these lot they're waste of time.
