I only wish that I had read all the reviews before placing an order with Safety First Aid! My order was placed in July and I am still waiting for one item! I have sent numerous emails and also phoned for them to say it will be delivered next week. I cancelled via email weeks ago and I still have not received my refund. I will never use this company again!
I was about to place an order for +£400 worth of items, but something made me check Trustpilot before completing checkout.
Concerned by the poor review I decided to call Safety First Aid. I explained my concerns to the person answering the call and they asked for the stock numbers of the items I want, by the time we got to the second I knew enough. All items in list shown as in stock on the website, checked two items on the phone... neither in stock.
If i could leave minus stars i would!! I initially ordered some 1st aid refills the process was straightforward however after going on holiday for 3 weeks and then a week away training i returned to work to find no delivery of said supplies after a phone call to First aid supplies speaking to a cust serv rep who seemed confused as to why my order had not been dispatched he promised me it would be sent next day 1 week later it arrived!! somewhat foolishly i gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered two more items as i had the account already set up and low and behold no delivery after contacting them again i was told that one item was out of stock so the whole order was on hold (No communication in regards to this from Safety First aid)i cancelled the missing item and was told the in stock item would be dispatched straight away, 1 week later no delivery after enough frustrating call to the inept cust service dept i was told this item was out of stock and would be delivered the following week! 1 week later item still not in stock order cancelled after 5 weeks of wasted time! ordered from another company guaranteed delivery Monday if this inept company stay in business the world as gone mad. will never use again!!
Ordered a heavy duty first aid cabinet 17th May. waited over a month to be informed that the item was now discontinued with no alternative. not even a fake apology from your rep. how you can justify this is beyond me.
We used to be customers of Safety First Aid for years and ordered semi-regularly from them. Pre-Covid, it was a running joke at how difficult it was to order from them due to random issues that would come up. Post-Covid they have become non-functional as a business. They will not dispatch your goods, tell you something is in stock when it isn't and then when you order they will take the order, realize there is no stock and then just not tell you. A week after our order, which we have been chasing daily, we finally got them to admit that it had not been sent out. Absolutely will not be ordering from them again.
Ordered an in stock item over a month ago, no communication for a delay. When I emailed them I was told it was down to a warehouse re-location.
Still no item 2-3 weeks later and nothing from the company to explain the delay.
Do not use this company as no customer service and not sure they have the supplies they say.
Taking orders for hand sanitiser (admittedly, at a suspiciously low price!) via Amazon UK, that they appear to have absolutely no intention of honouring. Happened twice to household members! Beats me what their marketing strategy is, unless it's to irritate and annoy potential customers. If that's the case then they've succeeded in no uncertain terms!
Very unimpressed. Their website said that the products I was ordering were in stock, which is why I ordered from them. No communication. Now, after they should have been delivered I rang them up only to find that the products were out of stock.
From talking to the person on the phone:
- In stock doesn't mean that stock will be available for you.
- Don't expect them to let you know if it's not in stock.
