Staff is not trained properly. 60 day wait on card.
The staff is NOT well trained. Terrible rewards in planning and went to a physical mock jury for 8 hours. They don't communicate that it would take 30 days to receive a card. I called after the 30 days and had to go to their platform and request a card that gives cash. Now, I have to wait another 30 days. So disappointed. Also, like I want $350 worth of donut's?
Have not been compensated & get no response
The project itself was great, however, a month later, I have not received the incentive that was offered. They notified me promptly with a confirmation of project completion and code to claim the incentive, then ditected me to a redemption site, where I selected my reward. However once the transaction was completed, there was disclaimer that "due to high volume, it could take up to 20 business days to PROCESS an e-gift card" which seems an excessive, compared to other companies, but regardless, that time frame has passed. When reaching out to their incentive provider, I received a curt response, directing me to contact Sago's customer service. I have emailed them twice now, with no reply, other than an auto message saying that "they are experiencing high volumes and to expect a delayed response" I have worked with many market research companies and have never had this type of issue. It is not ethical that they continue to push recruitment efforts without providing the promised compensation- and then not even to have the courtesy to respond to email. I wonder if their clients are aware that the respondents are not being compensated.
Reward process is not good
Reward process is not good. It’s terrible in fact. I’ve done surveys and focus groups with this group for some time and it seems to be getting worse. I did an in person focus group over a month ago. To date, still have not been paid. Then when they do pay, it goes into your wallet, then it takes at MINIMUM 30 days to cash out your wallet. I’ve inquired about payment several times and have not received any responses. Not cool, especially when I can say I do enjoy the focus groups I’ve been in.
They used to be a reputable group and…
They used to be a reputable group and paid as you left the study. All of what I have done with them is remote so the incentive is paid digitally. When you agree to the terms they state that it takes typically 20 days for payment to arrive after you submit your request. The first one took 35 days and my second one is at the 30 day mark. This is frustrating.
There a lying B.S
There a lying B.S. company! They lied and sent me battery tooth brushes to test and said I’ll receive 4 follow up surveys to get the $50
They promised me. Well guess what I got 1 survey and the next week when the 2nd was due the page said “ this survey is closed due to not responding “ I responded to the email within 10 minutes! I emailed them and asked what happened and there reply was “ we appreciate all the thank yous but you didn’t follow instructions and the survey closed “! I asked why and they said we called and left a VM. In which they never did! I checked my calls! Stay away! BS and scammers!
They won't pay you
They won't pay you. I did a study and waited the 20 days for "processing" and still havent gotten a dime. They steal your time and don't pay you.
BBB complaint prompted an immediate resolution
Similar to others, had trouble getting paid. Kept referring me to their "technical" group, but never got a response over a period of months. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and within a couple of days they responded, and I got paid (via an Amazon gift card).
I think Sago is a scam company
I did dozens of studies with Schlesinger Group over the years and they were professional and payment was reliably prompt. Since Sago took over they are saying “due to high volume” there is a delay - so far I have been waiting over six weeks for payment of over 3 hundred dollars. I gave them my time, and I’m certain they got paid for the study - what is their excuse? Will I EVER be paid? Other focus groups pay within 2 weeks, max. Beginning to assume this is a fraudulent company.
I've done a dozen studies with them
I've done a dozen studies with them. Filled out hundreds of surveys. Once I'm in the room, the studies are interesting. But they payments through tremendous are ridiculous- I have to make up a product, enlist a friends help, and pay taxes if I want to put the money in my bank account. They're also super strict about time - they want you to be 15 minutes early. If you're 4 minutes late, they refuse you, and you're out the drive time. Don't waste your time with them.
Mock jury Study that lasted 8 hours
I did a study for a mock jury on September 4, 2024, which lasted 8 hours. It was extremely important to arrive on time. Yet they do not have the decency to response to clients who already rendered their services. Today is 10/28/24 and I have not received a call back or email in response for payment of $325.00 which I have not received as of yet. The time fame they imposed for payment has come and gone. Still no payment, no courtesy call to explain the delay. This is ridiculous and it's a crime. I am going to call the State attorney and report them. They should not get away from robbing people of their hard earn money. I'm sure they already received their earnings from the company they were representing. I will never do business with Sago. They are a fraudulent company.
Up to 30 BUSINESS DAYS for payment
Up to two weeks to receive incentive points, then another 20-30 BUSINESS DAYS to receive payment. I basically had to stalk them to get them to pay out the money owed. It is BULLCRAP!
1 month and gift cards still not sent…
1 month and gift cards still not sent to me, been processing and not sent.I will never do another study with this company very unprofessional.
Did a phase 1 for a study and haven't…
Did a phase 1 for a study and haven't received any calls/emails back since everything they have implemented is automated emails back . I never once spoke to anyone on the phone and have called /emailed multiple times regarding payment .
YOU WILL NOT GET PAID!!
I wish I could give 0 stars. I am still waiting to get paid from a focus group I did on Sept 4. I have left countless emails and phone calls with no response. You can never reach a live person no matter which phone number you call which is absolutely ridiculous. I have already reported them to the BBB and I have left them a negative review on google. NO ONE should have to go through all these changes to get paid. I am literally contacting them on a daily basis. Several people in their google reviews are threatening class action lawsuits. I hope it happens because they should not be able to get away with treating people this way. I take this as a learning experience. No longer will I do focus groups with Sago EVER again. Totally unreliable, unprofessional, unethical and just plain fraudulent!
Worst customer service/still not paid
I wrote a previous review and was finally contacted by someone. They said once payment was processed I would receive an email to confirm my mailing address. I have not received any email. I think they're trying to get out of paying me. Why do I need to confirm my address? They know my address. Just send the card! For this review I've sent 4 emails to customer service and no response other than an automated message saying they are getting a higher than normal amount of emails. They must have made a lot of people mad! I took my survey in March and still have not been paid. I'm so angry with them
They have absolutely the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I'm going to report them to BBB and any other agency I can think of and give reviews on every site. This is ridiculous.
2 months to get paid SMH
They pay in gift cards but the BIGGEST issue is they haven't paid me a dime of the $250 promised upon completion.
Eventually they usually pay within 4-8 weeks..
Not worth my time. Next I will do their survey and not even read any of the questions 😂😂😂😆
Absolutely ridiculous
Absolutely ridiculous. I think they hope people will just give up with continuous requests to get paid. After multiple requests I threatened to go to BBB. I got a ‘code’ to activate my incentive, but then got an error message that ‘unusual activity has been noted and account frozen’ Never ever have I experienced this in all the years I have been doing surveys. I won’t give up.
Getting paid is a battle
This company takes far too long to pay. Every time I am due to get paid I have to file a complaint against them and get nothing but excuses. Asking someone to wait approximately 6 weeks to get paid is absurd and then to have to fight them at payout time is absolutely unethical and insulting.
Don't do surveys for this company
Don't do surveys for this company. They won't pay you. You will get stuck in generic canned responses when you inquire why your payment gets stuck in 'processing'.
Non payment
Non payment , for multiple interviews done , Redeemed for 600 dollars in march , never got the physical cards and no one to talk to , tried redeeming again for another survey , processing it says , can not talk to any one , totally fraud company since the virtual wallet came in , They are not paying what was promised to participants , not doing any more surveys with them , appaling behavior
