Sail you say, Sailchecker I say!
We like to have sailing vacations in the summer. Our first experience with Sailchecker was 2 years ago when we decided to sail in the archipelago of Stockholm. We were getting answer to every question we had and everything went very smoothly.
This year we wanted to sail in Marmaris Bozburun peninsula of Turkey. Thanks to their very good CRM system, they remembered what type of boats we go for and provided very relevant options within hours. They understand the needs of their guests and always answer in detail.
We had only one misleading information, and it was a bit of a problem at first, however, we found a way to work it out for our group at the end. The issue was about the time of check-out and delivering the boat back to the marina. We were told that we could bring the boat by 20:00 on Friday and leave the boat at 08:00 on Saturday. However, when we checked in, the local company was inviting that the agreement was to bring the boat by 16:00 on Friday and stay until 08:00 on Saturday. This was cutting a whole day from our sail time. The local agency said this must be clearly marked on our boarding pass, however, we did not receive a boarding pass. When we raised the issue to Sailchecker, they said the boarding pass was sent on 17th June. However we did not receive any boarding pass. At the end we changed our departure flight to Friday night, which gave us a break in Istanbul for a day. It was good. But I would be really annoyed if we couldn't change our tickets and end up coming back to Marmaris Marina to do nothing after 16:00 on a Friday. What we are promised via email should be sealed in the boarding pass and we should actually receive the boarding pass. Anyway, this would not stop us from trusting Sailchecker in the future. I am sure they would pay more attention into this detail on our next trip planning. I right about this issue to help both sailors and Sailchecker that, this is an area to improve :)
Next year we will first check with Sailchecker to evaluate our options in the destinations we plan to travel. I hope they will have what we need. It's good to have a reliable travel company!

We have to admit it's so very rare we get compliments about our CRM, yet we invest so much time and energy into it, it was strangely thrilling to get some positive feedback!
We have investigated the return time of the boat, it comes as a natural disappointment to us. Return times are typically 1600 to give the base the smallest working window to plan the following day's maintenance: order spares, and so on. We now understand that it was difficult to read our boarding passes on the iPhone. As a result we have informed our developers to create a one which adapts to different screen sizes - thank you for your understanding and great feedback.

The team from Sailchecker has been extremely responsive and helpful throughout. We can highly recommend them. However, be careful to read the fine print if you haven't booked a boat before. The boats are equipped with the basics only. Our boat did not have any cushions for the cockpit. We initially booked a boat located too far north in Croatia although we mentioned sailing in the Split area. Sailchecker immediately rectified it.

The rough and the smooth
Its easy to measure how good a company is when things go well. For me the true measure is when things go wrong.
I have booked with Sailchecker in the past and everything was excellent.
I recently booked again and was delighted to be offered a hybrid motorboat. Unfortunately it turned out not to be a Hybrid, this was an error in the advertising and Sailchecker were not responsible.
Kate was excellent in organising a successful solution. Professional and personable throughout.
In my opinion a really good company and I am happy booking with them.

Fantastic service and holiday........
From start to finish this was a very easy and professional process. Everything was put in place before our departure and communications were swift and straightforward. The airport transfer was waiting for us as promised and we collected our yacht in Marina Kastela, Croatia for a totally trouble free week. Collecting the yacht in the marina was very easy. Sadly the weather confined us to the marina for the first 24 hours but that gave us plenty of time to get provisions from the nearby supermarkets and visit Trogir. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be coming back.

We Just came back from a 1 week trip on…
We Just came back from a 1 week trip on a private catamaran on the Greek islands.
Kate Ioannidou, was amazing on organizing the whole trip. She was extremely helpful and always so quick on responding my emails with so many inquires.
Ernesto (skipper) and Julia (hostess/cooker) were unbelievable amazing!!!! We had the best time with them. So respectful and also fun to be around. Julia cooked amazing meals!
This trip is highly recommended.

The best way to charter a yacht!
I used Sailcheckers for the second time this year and they are just a wonderful company to work with. There was an issue with my booking, as the yacht, we originally chose wasn't available. (absolutely no fault of Sailcheckers or the Charter company) and that's when you really realize how well a company like Sailcheckers supports you. They were just brilliant to make sure that our holiday could go ahead unhindered. One small suggestion is that they recently stopped using their online dashboard system where you have real-time access to all your booking and payment information which is a shame as I really liked that but besides that: super service

CAN'T GO WRONG!
I have now booked 2 charters with Sailchecker . As a New Yorker we are sometimes labeled with being difficult costumers. all that being said, I have had all my question answered professionally and timely. I was recently quoted a higher price ($1000) buy another group for the exact same charter.when I told them Sailchecker price they said they could come down. Sailchecker Guided the Process
Sailchecker helped find a boat at a competitive cost for a bare boat charter through Spanish Virgin Islands, and then confirmed equipment (i.e., dinghy, motor, navigation gear, galley, grill ...) and final details for the charter. We were welcomed on arrival, boat was in perfect condition, briefing was on time and of high quality to put the final details on the islands of interest to be visited, and there were no surprises with the final billing.
I would use the Sailchecker again.
