I booked a Catamaran charter in Greece with Kate from Sailchecker. I did a lot of research as this was my 1st European bareboat charter. She asked and answered many questions and found me a boat that met all my needs. She got me a taxi from Athens to the base and made sure we were met etc. The boat and the charter company were exactly as promised. The sail checker online form desktop was easy to use and covered everything - I just answered all the questions and wired money in Euros. When the charter company wanted more and more info about my sailing experience, she sorted it all out quickly. I think pretty good value too - I checked a lot of places over several months and she got me a good price for a brand new boat. The boat was a 2018 Lagoon 450S. The charter company was easy to deal with. They were on call 24/7 and apart from agonizing over where one 4ft fender line had "disappeared" on charter, they were great. Kate sent me a suggested itinerary which we couldn't use because of the high winds, so the charter company put one together for me in about 15 minutes! They also let us leave port on Saturday afternoon, so I got an extra night on a beautiful anchorage in Sounion. We really took care of the boat and had no problems with getting large deposit back (which I hear can be difficult with some companies). I would recommend Kate and Elpida at Sail Checker to my mother!

We have used Sailchecker a couple of times and both times they have been extremely helpful. In terms of boats, the descriptions are accurate. We had a couple of issues on the Hermes boat that we had but Kate was able to resolve these for us. We will definitely use Sailchecker to book our next trip.

- boat: catamaran leopard 40 was perfect even if we had one technical issue with one engine.
We have performed a tour from Kea till Antiparos and return to Athens marina.
-skipper: Manuel is a very experienced skipper always looking to arrange the cruise based on our whishes and reality of sea conditions. He was also coming to pick us every evening after our evening excursion including one time at 3am.
-Hostess: Elpida has been fantastic and served us fantastically well. She cooked also everything very well including pasta (strong compliment as it comes from italians)

Please note we were 4 guests. Me, my wife and our 2 kids aged 8 years old. Manuel and Elpida have been very patient with them and all of us have been very happy about this trip.
We had on our side very good sea conditions.

So what to say else that I strongly advice Sailchecker and Elpida and that you can blindly book your trip with Sailchecker.

This sailing experience was fantastic! From start to finish, the entire experience was fabulous. Elpida was so helpful and knowledgeable, answering our many, many questions while providing her own fabulous recommendations! I would highly recommend using her services. At the other end, our skipper Polis was experienced and highly capable, and our group had an outstanding week sailing with him. This company is fantastic, and I would not hesitate to recommend.
