Disappointing Service and Lack of Communication
I placed an order for New Year gifts 11 days ago, spending over $300 on the Salt & Pepper website. Unfortunately, I have not received an order confirmation email or a dispatch confirmation email. Attempts to contact customer service have gone unanswered. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I am now considering filing a chargeback claim with my bank. I expected much better service and reliability from Salt & Pepper.

Bought four dinner sets online to use…
Bought four dinner sets online to use in air bnb and 80% of the pieces were so rough on the foot rings as to be unusable on wood tables. Was more annoyed that tbe response from customer service was ‘contact Myer’ (where I bought them) but zero suggestion for remedy, zero apology and signed off with ‘customer service team’ as opposed to any one person. if I was to buy again it would have to be in store and I would check every piece for quality. Probably easier to go with a different brand for dinnerware.

For a 10 years pan I waited 2 months.
Went to Hurstville store and staff said they need to contact manager two weeks no call no message as they said they need to contact the head office. Emailed head office and they said to go to store. Everything is going in circle.
Finally they told me to go to store and went there and they told me to wait 15 mins and said she needs to contact manager. It’s a waste of time.

The product is good but I received the wrong product. I sent the product back, asked for refund and sent three emails but it's been longer than two weeks and I have yet to receive a response or at least an update on what's going on. It's just crickets.

The product was good and service is good. First I got the wrong size and I returned back by Bpost but I didn’t get my money back . I wrote many many emails and they didn’t even answer or respond yet .so please suggest us to what to do ? I also sent massage on contact us .

Salt&Pepper (Melbourne) tea cups crack when making tea
what a disaster the current batch of S&P tea cups are, (I am referring here to the Salt&Pepper, Melbourne, Australia company). Can't make a cup of tea as the moment the hot water hits the cups, they instantly crack!! We recently bought two cups and discovered that the latest batch is no way near as sturdy as the tea cups we bought pre-Covid. S&P customer service was not helpful either. The tea cups are unfortunately not fit for purpose :-(

Amauteurish and unfair website
I recieved a €50 giftcard from Salt & Pepper for my birthday. After selecting some items I wanted to check out, and the website did not accept te giftcard-code. I contacted Salt & Pepper. They answered: "You must NOT enter the giftcardcode in the Giftcard-box, but in the Discount-box (...). I did so en saw that there was still € 10 to pay for shipping. Strange, because I had items for €40 + €10 shipping. Apparently the giftcard was not valid for shipping costs. I contacted Salt & Pepper again and explained that is was strange: a friend gives me a gift and I still have to pay extra to get this gift. Their answer: I was correct and they will change this strange behaviour on their website. (...) Then I contacted Salt & Pepper again (3rd time). Okay that they will change this strange way of paying, but that it would be honest to return me the €10 shipping costs that I have paid. No reaction (...)

Far too big packaging, items smell terrible
Delivery was very quick, but why use a very hugh cardbord box for just 8 placemats.
The items have a terrible chemical smell. Even alter 2 days. Useless so far. Too bad, they look absolutely beautifull.

Not what to expect
Item shown on pictures are not the same as were delivered. Different colour totally. Don’t recommmend unfortunately. Also high prices for return.
