scammer and takeaway connoisseur

I still have 7 outstanding orders with this company that I'm waiting for a refund for. these go back to July 2022 yes 2022 over 600 days ago as of the date of this review. I emailed asking for a refund and he tried to downplay how much stock he owd me then when I gave him a price breakdown he said I was threatening him and that he "doesn't respond well to threats" If you have spare money give it to a charity not salty revolutions staffs fast food fund.

Avoid at all costs

Orders placed in December (12th, 26th & 27th) and they only ever supplied 3 frags (out of 9), the outstanding amount of around £78 still hasn't been refunded despite receiving shopify emails telling me i would get the refund.
This shop is a SCAM, he is advertising items he doesn't have, and taking peoples money with no intention of supplying.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Another customer…

AVOID AVOID AVOID Another customer ripped off!

Asked James if his WYSIWYG were actually in stock and got a reply - well how can I take pictures of them if they are not!

So placed an order for 6 WYSIWYG frags in December, delivery arrived on the 25th of January missing 2 of the WYSIWYG corals, James said he would refund my money which could take 10 and then he said 30 days.

Well 7 weeks and 4 e-mails later, still no refund and being ignored and this is a common theme across his reviews!

Don't throw away your money, there are plenty of other options.

Customer service is the worst ever!

Bloke is at best a conman

Bloke is at best a conman. You will not get anything you order. There is a video proving his tanks are empty. He is due back in court and due to be evicted by a high court writ.

James Goodchild of Salty Revolution is…

James Goodchild of Salty Revolution is at best a poor business man at worst a scammer. He accepted a payment of £29 for marine snails failed to deliver, was rude in reply when I asked where my order was cancelling my order because I had asked. And despite my many enquiries he has failed to refund my money or acknowledge my polite emails enquiring about my refund. My advice is no matter how attractive his offerings may appear do not deal with this company SALTY Revolution. They will take your money, not deliver and not refunded, at least that is my experience. I think that's stealing. How many customers he does this with is unclear but I doubt I am the only one. Should he refund my money I will of course update my review to that effect.

AVOID!

AVOID!

As an avid marine enthusiast and conscientious consumer, I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience with "Salty Revolution". Regrettably, what began as an exciting endeavour to procure vibrant marine life swiftly transformed into a cautionary tale of deception and disappointment.

My initial impression of "Salty Revolution" was positive, with an enticing array of exotic marine species showcased on their website. However, the reality proved to be far less auspicious.

Upon placing my order, I eagerly awaited the arrival of my prized marine specimens, only to be met with silence, weeks passed without any correspondence or acknowledgement of my purchase, leaving me in a state of apprehension and frustration.

It soon became apparent that I had fallen victim to a deceitful scheme orchestrated by a character by the name of "James Goodchild" at "Salty Revolutions". Numerous attempts to contact, yielding no response, further exacerbating my dismay.

As weeks turned into months, I reluctantly came to terms with the grim reality: I had been scammed, not only had I been deprived of marine life I had eagerly anticipated, but I had also been subjected to financial loss and emotional distress.

The ramifications of "Salty Revolution"'s unscrupulous practices extend far beyond individual grievances. He's deceptive
conduct undermines the integrity of online commerce and erodes consumer trust, perpetuating a cycle of deceit and disillusionment.

In light of my experience, I implore fellow marine enthusiasts to exercise utmost caution when considering transactions with "Salty Revolution". Their flagrant disregard for ethical business practices and customer well-being serves as a stark reminder of the inherent risk associated with online purchasing.

In summation, my encounter with "Salty Revolution" / "James Goodchild" serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of due diligence and vigilance in navigating the digital marketplace. Let this review stand as a warning to others: tread carefully, lest you too fall prey to the snares of deceit woven by unscrupulous entities like "Salty Revolution".

I felt compelled to escalate the matter to appropriate authorities, including reporting "Salty Revolution" to Trading Standards.
