A dishonest retailer

I ordered two shirts that took over two weeks to arrive. Very disappointed to see two polyester shirds that did not fit and which I would never want to wear. Sara-London first offered me vouchers for a percentage of original; retail price. Eventually they asked me to return them at my expense to a strange-looking address in China. I dare not think of the poor people who have to make this junk. To cap it all, I notice that Sara-London has TRUSTPILOT SCORE of 1.1 on their website while Sara-London claims its TRUSTPILOT SCORE is 4.8. Is anybody policing these scores? Surely by claiming a high score on your branded website and this has been tampered with then surely that is fraud.

SCAM!!

SCAM!!! Do not buy from them. Not London based -they are Chinese and you will never see your money again. I ordered 2 dresses and 2 pairs of shoes - absolute joke as quality is terrible. Cheap and smelly stuff, made of god knows what, nothing like the photos advertised on their fake website. Please stay away - I wish I checked trust pilot - I have involved my credit card provider to see if they can help to retrieve my money - I am down £100 for goods which I had to send back at my own cost £34 by royal mail ... feel like a right muppet.

This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam - avoid like the plague.
The shirt I ordered is nothing like that advertised. Poor colours, rubbish material, sizes nothing like size chart.

Plus, in reality, no viable returns policy.

I feel I have been conned -
should have checked reviews before ordering.

I ordered a shirt, Crap quality rubbish material made in China size far too small. Cannot get access to return the product no response from them .
This company should not be allowed to trade here in the UK.
It’s impossible to get a refund from them
Dish them fast,
John

Terrible quality shirts from China

I liked the look of the Ricardo Polo shirts, so I bought three. Big mistake. I wish I had checked out the company first before ordering. The first clue was when I received shipping confirmation – average delivery time 8-10 working days. Oh O – China??

The shirts were extremely disappointing. The material was very thin indeed, badly finished, and more polymer than the advertised cotton-linen blend. If you're over five feet six inches they would be short on the body and in the sleeve. The collars are HUGE, like something from the 1970s, nothing like the neat collar in the picture. And to top it off the button holes were too small for the buttons! Don't waste your money on these.

It was only afterwards that I checked them out on Trustpilot. From the previous comments I didn’t even think of returning them for a refund, they went straight into a charity bag. Be very wary of SARA-London.

Impossible to get a refund

Impossible to get a refund for supplied goods that do not match the description. Constant AI generated responses denying responsibility for delays in processing refunds - it's all the buyer's fault.
Total scam; should be prosecuted.

This is a scam

This is a scam, do not be fooled. They show a genuine linen shirt then send you a polyester one with no labels on or washing instructions. When you ask for your money back they say you can have a voucher off your next purchase. You can't even send it back for a refund as they say they're in Asia. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Dear potentialal customers

Dear potentialal customers

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the shirt I recently purchased from this website. The quality of the shirt is extremely poor and does not meet my expectations at all. Not only is the color different from what was described on your website, but the overall craftsmanship of the shirt is cheap and unsatisfactory.

Given that your company is based in China, it is virtually impossible for me to return the item for a refund. I have tried to initiate a return process, but all I have been offered is a series of discounts, which I find unacceptable. All I wanted was a refund for the substandard product I received, but it seems that your company is unwilling to provide proper customer service.

As a result of this unsatisfactory experience, I have reported the issue to Mastercard, and I am now warning others not to make any purchases from your website. The lack of customer support and the poor quality of your products reflect very poorly on your brand, and I will not be recommending your website to anyone.

I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and improve your customer service and product quality in the future. Until then, I strongly advise potential customers to avoid making any purchases from your website.

Yours sincerely,
Gary

Like others have said

Like others have said, dreadful failure to provide a product that comes anywhere close to its description. Attempts to force me to pay for a return to China and refusal to refund. I’ve raised this as a dispute with my credit card company for the failure against the Trade Descriptions Act.

Wish I had read reviews on here before…

Wish I had read reviews on here before purchasing. Shirt looked great on advert and looked like linen. It wasn't. As others have also reported it is some horrible plastic textile material. Emailed them immediately asking for full refund. They offered me 15%. Lets forget about consumer rights act here shall we? I did some research and read the reviews, turned down their 'kind offer' and accepted 30% refund (just under £11) which WAS actually paid, simply because returning the shirt to an address that probably didn't exist would cost me £15 to China.
It is an AWFUL shirt. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. It is a con, a rip-off, and I am so disappointed.
The email from 'Olivia' said all the usual stuff about 'we don't want you to return it as it has an impact on saving the planet' and 'we'd like to offer you a voucher for more clothes with us'. Yeah right. No thanks. If you sold an item that was exactly as advertised and had any redeemable quality whatsoever, then there would not be this issue.
Lesson learned. Lost about £25. Will NEVER buy from this company. If you buy from them you will not get a full refund (as the law says you are entitled to) and you will go mad on emails trying to fight it.

Regretably cannot give 0 stars

Regretably cannot give 0 stars, and even that would be generous.

I've used better rags to clean my windows than the top I received from them. Very poor quality and about 2 sizes too small, no brand label, utter scam site. Your only way to get your money back if you've made the mistake of buying from them is to pay by credit card otherwise you're in a con-world of hurt.

Present themselves as being London based but of course they're not, returns would have to go back to China. Ought really to be closed down, I have contacted trading standards.

Don't use this company...... you will regret it.

Can not put 0 stars unfortunately

Can not put 0 stars unfortunately. Total scam. Pretend they're in UK but they're not, he/she is in China at some random personal address with a name, no company name to return to. Shirt nothing like picture, terrible material, he/she is not interesting in resolving, sending back now, but having to pay crazy postage costs to China, not made clear on website that they do not have a proper returns system set up. No telephone number to give to courier which means probably won't get through customs. Bet goods never get refunded, we'll see?? Never using again and will be posting everywhere to let people know. Be careful - Do not order from this company

Scam Alert!

1 Star only because it wouldn’t let me do no stars! SCAM ALERT!!! Bitterly disappointed! I ordered a beer o’clock (man’s!!!) watch for my son’s birthday. What I got was an extremely tacky ladies’ watch that looks nothing like the one pictured! Upon asking for a refund, I was first told that looking at the images I sent, I received the right item and, after resending photos pointing out the differences and adding extra photos taken from a different angle, I am now told as this is a personalised item, they cannot refund! THEY SENT ME THE WRONG THING!!!! Surely this must be illegal?!?!?! Images of what I ordered and what I received instead can be provided.
