Thanks Susanne and Dale at Saskhouses.com. I’ll admit the idea of selling my house seemed daunting. Moving is time consuming and stressful: one must plan each step, arrange for a new place to live, clean, pack, fix up, sell stuff and move! but turns out, a realtor doesn’t help you with any of that stuff. They just open the door and show your place to buyers. That’s the easy part. Pricing can be tricky: look around your neighborhood for comparable houses, get a free appraisal from a realtor or hire a home appraiser. Negotiating a final sale price can be intimidating, but you do get to meet the buyers and learn about what they are looking for. The paperwork provided by Saskhouses.com made the transaction easy and simple to follow. Hire a good real estate lawyer and you’ll save a lot of money and feel a sense of accomplishment at selling your home privately. I don’t see a lot of For Sale By Owner signs in Regina, but I think the time is right for more people to sell privately here.

We never had a single call about our property and ended up selling it ourselves. In addition...emails were far too many about other properties for sale particularly in light if the fact that we were selling...not buying.

This was a very positive experience. The photographs and listing presentation were excellent and the immediate response I received to questions through the process was very helpful and appreciated. The only problem I encountered was that I could not refine a search for my property to the Brighton neighbourhood.
