Just received 3 ice fishing rods i ordered and every one of them is broken. The tips are all broke off but the box they all came in is fine. So it all happened before they shipped and they sent them anyway. Now their BS website wont let me file for a return and there's nowhere to send am email or any numbers ro call. F sheels! Never again. I literally got robbed out of $90 and im broke AF. Thats literally my ice fishing season gone. Im sickened by this. 0 stars for scheels. Stars are for winners and clearly scheels is not.

Customer service is non responsive. They failed to call after a week. Had an ordered cancelled by them two days after placing. Attempted to see if alternative options were available. They said they’d call. No call.
I ordered a pair of Oboz Sawtooth II Mid hiking boots on 12/05/2025. Within 24-hours, the manufacturer, Oboz put the same exact boots on sale for $40 less. I tried to go through Scheels Price Match procedure and I included the url for the sale price boots. Scheels follow up to me was that I wasn’t doing their price match procedure correctly. As an elderly adult, it seemed purposely difficult to avoid matching the price. I gave up and will shop the competition in the future.

After they sent me the wrong size shoe, and of course, they sent the shoebox in a bag. then I had to find a box and I had to print out my shipping label.And I had to tape everything together again, and then I had to go to the post office.I didn't have a box and I didn't have printer ink but I had to go by printer ink for my printer.So I could print out one label to attach it because they don't give you one that you can give to the post office. I had to buy packing tape to tape the box and tape the label onto the box. It's amazing that at the end of the day.The return is gonna end up costing me twenty bucks. So not only am I out a pair of shoes, but i'm also out twenty dollars for their mistake. and so what a horrible company that i'm just not gonna go through this rigmarole again.And I suggest that you don't shop here, either.

Haven't heard from anyone.Except when I called them.The salesperson looked on computer and said it was in transit.Still waiting for my granddaughters Christmas present.

Bought an ice drill bit auger and received an email that it was canceled because they were out of stock. So went to get the next size smaller and that was already out of stock so I lost out on either deal. Are they could say was sorry about your bad luck.

First, they added a second shipping charge so that shipping equalled the regular cost of the goods. Second, there is no tracking in any meaningful sense of the word. Third, the size is obviously wrong, but the socks were stuck in a cardboard label with the correct size. Returning them would have yielded more charges and only a store credit. Never Again.

Do not live in Loveland. Made a road trip up to Scheels from Denver. Got VERY excited to find a pair of my favorite shoes on a “great sale”!
Got to the register and, loa and behold, the “public improvement fee”!
Started looking into it. Found a lot of excuses and justifications. However, the most suspicious thing I found was that Scheels typically charges around 2%. I did the math on my receipt. On my purchase they charged me 5% for this “fee.” Sooooo,Scheels is deciding at the register which purchases receive what percentage of fee?
Obviously, no more wasting gas on roadtrips to Scheels.

Placed an order for a birthday gift. Received a confirmation that label had been created and saw it site for days without pick up. Called customer service who gave me 3 reasons why an order would just sit there (so they have a list of known issues that go unaddressed) and zero solution other than “if it does
not arrive in time you can return it” Great model: Let’s make the customer do extra work because we can’t figure out how to ship or track orders.

Friday 10/17/purchased a vintage Louis Vuitton. Understood it was "vintage". Upon my return home, to prepare for use, discovered the interior of the purse smelled so moldy was no able to use at all. Was also not able to find the authentication number in the purse. There were also water spots not noticed until I returned home(this i can deal with) Returned to the store the following day because of the mold smell and was told "too bad so sad" all sales final. I can understand if I had buyers remorse or just changed my mine. However, the purse is not useable at all. The "so called manager" that day said she could not verify the authentication number on the purse because she couldnt find it either and I could just send the purse out to see if I could get it cleaned somewhere. I did not spend $1200 on a purchase to get it cleaned prior to use. Now I do not know if its even authentic. WAS I SCAMMED?? The manager could not of cared less and also told me another reason she could not take the purse back because she had no proof that it wasn't the same purse i had purchased REALLY??? I have never been so insulted in my entire life and the customer service was beyond outrageous. Why should I have to pay for an item that is unusable. This is not a fake review, this is a very unhappy customer who is out $1200

Ordered an item online that was on sale, marked as in stock and said that it would be here in 2-3 days. It hadn’t arrived in over a week, the customer service person was clueless and had no idea when it would actually ship even though a label had been printed. Completely ridiculous logistics in 2025, it’s no wonder the reviews are so terrible. Thank goodness for Amazon, they price matched the item for me and it came the next day…that’s how things work when you hire quality logistics people!

They should have it in bold red letters at check out that if you make a return you will be charged original shipping fees and other miscellaneous fees. Even if you return something to the store. This is very misleading when you offer free shipping!

When placing an order on their website after clicking SUBMIT on checkout I received an ERROR message that the order failed.
I did NOT get an order confirmation, so I tried again.
After 2 failed attempts I ordered on a different browser, Chrome, instead of Brave.
This time, the third time I received an order confirmation on their website. Still not in my inbox.
Suddenly, about 30 minutes later I received 3 order confirmation:

ORDER # 4109231404
I tried to call their customer service phone - but is did not work. I texted to their customer support. They did not respond. So I emailed them immediately, requesting to cancel two of those orders.
Instead, they charged me for all three orders - same pairs of shoes, same size. They ignored my email and 4 hours later they shipped those three orders out emailed me three tracking numbers. Now I need to wait till they are here before I can start a return and then wait for a refund. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

This company will send you used shoes from their stores on occasion. And when contact our customer service They will be cold binary and unapologetic. Not only did I send photos of clearly worn shoes one of which was more than the other. They still did not apologize until I said that they didn't apologize and not only that they were not very helpful in finding a satisfactory solution. And went on to tell me that the wear that I was seeing was from use in the store from people trying it on. That was the most insulting part of it all. The photo showed that one she was clearly a different color than the other.

I wanted a scope mount for my rifle. I took my rifle to the gun department in Scheels. I was met by a sales rep/staff person. He took me to the wall where the scope mounts are and told me they didn't have one that would fit. I asked if I could try to match my rifle barrel to the scope mounts and they told me I could not. At that point I left the store. So, in my experience, if they don't have the specific mount that matches your rifle in stock, they won't look for a one that might work. Furthermore, they will not allow you to have your screw mounts measured to even adapt your rifle to one they may have in stock. In my opinion, they are as unhelpful as possible. I will never, ever waste my time again to try to shop at their store for anything, especially their hunting/rifle department.

i was in several times to get my bike fix i was pleased with that .everytime i payed for my bike and ready to ride the motor would not turn on.so i took it back in they said it was the motor since i did not purchase my e bike at scheels they could not work on it if the motor needs to be replaced.i understand your policy but i dont even know where else to take it.i wish you guys would change your policy.

I returned a pair of shorts on 8/20/25 and was told the refund would take 2–4 days to post back to my Scheels card. By 8/27/25, nothing had shown up, so I called the Sandy store. I was transferred to customer service, then corporate, and after sitting on hold for 30 minutes, I was told I had to go back through the Sandy store.
When I called the Sandy store again, they told me I had to go back through corporate. At that point I said “no way” because I was getting the runaround. The response I got was essentially, “It’s your problem.”
A manager finally spoke with me and promised to call back that same day. She did call around 7:00 pm, but only to say she was off the next day and would try to get back to me on Friday.
So far, my refund still hasn’t been processed, and I’ve been bounced back and forth with no resolution. I’ve always liked Scheels, but this experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

On 827 2025 at around 1 pm I went to Scheels in Sandy, Utah, and I had my firearm in my box. Unloaded I go inside no issues I go upstairs. I go to the customer service desk and some Female comes up. Ask if I need your help. She seemed a little bit condescending. I asked her I needed to get some sites for my handgun so that she brings me over to a different area where they sell magazines. She really didn’t seem like she wanted to help too much. The impression I got from her. She was anti-gun and one of those woke far left people now because of her experience that I had with her I will never go back to the store again to buy anything Sheels you can do better than that. Pay attention to who you hire because it’s gonna cost customers and they’re not gonna come back. She was completely anti-gun now unless Sheels is anti gun then I would understand. I didn’t like this Female from the go. She made me feel like I was a criminal or some sort just by her attitude.
