Schwab close down my account without any tangible explanation , I will not encourage anyone to continue with this company rather just follow my photo lead for a smooth amazing experience .

In short, horrible!
My employer invests our RSU in Schwab and I wish I never got this RSU! Their system belongs to 19th century! Everything is messed up. I tried to create an account from their email more than 10 times, no success! call them twice no success! Finally, they shared a 21 pages pdf with me to fill out and fax it to them! Maaaaan! I have a lot of better things to do and you have my money, you need to provide the service not me, begging you to resolve your issues! Horrible horrible experience!!!!

schwab decided out of the blue to close my accounts due to "business decision " they are completely dishonest and i do NOt recommend them at all. if they ever send you a request for info about your accounts DO NOT answer. they collect this data and use it against you and for data harvesting probably. in the letter they sent me they told me my accounts will close later on and yet they closed it earlier...does that sound like an honest company? shady. stay away from schwab. furthermore their app is awful and terrible

Tried to send a wire transfer. Email from Schwab said it went through. Review of my account showed it did not go thru. I never received a message there was an issue. The customer service team told me why I didn't get a notice, and the excuse was very lame! The Southlake office where I work thru at Schwab is not helpful at all as well!

Three months ago I went to their local office to transfer my brokerage accounts to Schawb, three months later THEY HAVE DONE NOHTING.

I opened this account less than 1 week ago.
Sent my signature card and waited. Tried funding my account but they took too long to link my external account. I just tried logging in and I couldn't. Tried to receive an otp to verify, again. and it didn't work. Called customer service and my account was closed for "business Reasons".? All I wanted to do was to open a cd at a decent rate. I was going to invest some of my life savings, 184k and thank god I didn't because where would I be now?

They lock your account and flag as suspicious. They hold your funds hostage so they can draw interest. When I call I cannot connect with the team that's holding my funds hostage.

a gauntlet of AI badgering questions to check did I close out an account. Probably lost small amount of money in the process, they cold not confirm . AVOID AVOID AVOID. Nice man I spoke with

I have had an account at Schwab for close to 10 years now. It has, for the most part, been an excellent experience. My brokerage account is safe and their security, if somewhat maddening, is strong. The investor checking account is excellent and truly essential if you do any overseas travel. I would recommend Schwab to anyone.

I am having such a bad time with this company. They just all of a sudden restricted my account "suspicious activity" and they want to verify my account with Bank Statements. I sent a copy of Driver License and supposedly it is blurry, well C'mon is a copy from the copy machine. This is Totally ridiculous ! If I could give them a minus 5 I Def would !!!

dealt with Schwab since merging with TD. Today they said I don't have option trading available even though I have traded options since Schwab took the account over. Trying to resolve the issue we were disconnected twice and still waiting for a call back for over 2 hours. I have had many issues with Schwab. I have moved most of the family accounts to Fidelity. There are only 2 accounts left with Schwab and it looks like its time to move them out of Schwab also. BEWHARE IF YOUR THINKING OF OPENING AN ACCOUNT with Schwab

So far so good. I've had a small portfolio of companies (5-10 stocks) I will only trust Schwab to manage my portfolio. There transfer are seamless. The call center is open 24/7. and they get back to you somewhat fast to question you send them.

not satisfied. bad service, kinda fraud

I have had a fabulous experience after switching from TD Ameritrade to Schwab and I'm a little perplexed about the challenges described by some others. I have a solid investment team that I speak with regularly. There is always someone available and they are very helpful. I get good advice and have had no problems withdrawing cash when I want it. There are a couple of opportunities for improvement such as automating money market withdrawals to fund monthly IRA disbursements. But, that is getting pretty specific and the work around isn't unreasonable. I would like a few more trade options as well, but this is still much better than what is offered by most brokerage companies and 401(k) options. I am reluctant to give anyone a five-star review unless I know they are the best. In this case, I don't know of anyone better or I would take my five accounts elsewhere.

Schwab is the bottom of the barrel. Extremely poor and unreliable customer service reps who Schwab employs however are not fully licensed not having taken the Series 7 New York Stock Exchange Exam. I have been licensed for 40 years and this form is crap. Should have never transfered from Ameritrade. Watch your ass Folks.

It's obvious that this platform is not real. I have been having numerous problems with my withdrawals and nothing had been done to correct this. Now they asking of more money before I can withdraw. So sad. Anyway, I am now doing perfectly well with PAIVA, and I have been paid without delays.

this company does not believe in privacy at all. they will release your information to anyone who asks. They will not only release your information, they will volunteer information of anyone associated with you. I have no idea how they are still in existence. I don't understand why anyone would trust them, they will throw you under the bus and blame you for it. This company is truly evil.

I have placed several short sales of stocks and most of the time when I make a profit I'm notified days later that there were insignificant shares canceling the trade, if I am on the losing end of a trade the trade goes through. This has happened on NUMEROUS TRADES. I was with T.D Ameritrade for years & ALMOST never happened. If I do hear from Charles Schwab I will then file a complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Platform is the worst. I'm using an android tablet and the entire experience has been horrible ever since stret smart central left. Looking at trade station and IBKR. There are others out there
