Really would like to give 0 stars!!!!
Ordered my nephew a dirt bike for his birthday paid the 2-3 day delivery charge of £29.99
Didn’t receive in time!!!!

Received the bike faulty! Metal bent here and there, rattles, chain guard was all snapped, no springs in the foot pegs!

Once started the bike it was smoking and burning and absolutely stunk knew we needed to run it for 5-10minutes before using so we did so but after half hour the smoke was getting worse

Now leaking full the bikes covered!!!!
Tried getting hold of the company and they just fob you off as soon as you mention you want to return for a refund!!!

Trying to charge us over £30 to send the bike back and take money off the refund because of the damages to the bike which WASNT OUR FAULT
Absolutely disgusting wish I checked the reviews before buying now because this is so wrong!!!
Scammers 100%
Just want money to send you faulty items

Z5 Cheap and faulty.

Ordered a Z5. Worked once. Returned for full refund as is my Statutory right under UK law within the time limit set. Do note that for faulty goods, you are due a full refund within 14 days of returning the item including ALL P&P costs and that no deductions can be made for administration. The Consumer Rights Act also states that the Act supercedes all T&C's written out by a Company. Sent to the address Scooter City requested two weeks ago along with info requested through their chat facility; tracking was provided. Item was delivered and signed for the day after dispatch. I received a message just before MIDNIGHT last night again requesting courier details as they cannot find the parcel.
Avoid this Company, but if you do deal with this company, keep copies and proof of everything, then head off to Trading Standards. This Company needs closing down. Pay only by methods where you can know you can get your money back, do not choose the 5% discount option for bank transfers!!!! Protect yourself.

Outrageous company

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I have never experienced any thing like this company for returning goods
I bought a scooter for £373.98 paid for postage to be delivered it was not suitable it was far too heavy could not even lift it out of the box so i packed it back up and paid a company £30 to return it it has taken me 2 weeks to get my refund back and they had the audacity to take £24 off my refund for a so called charge what they call a change of mind and out going packaging.
They are a joke do not buy

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THE SCOOTERS R BARELY RIDEABLE! IM TRYING TO STOP PAYMENT NOW FOR A £400 SCOOTER I BROUGHT, FIRSTLY IT HAD BROKEN BASKET, BROKEN LIGHT AND THEN WEN CHARGED I TOOK IT OUT ONLY TO HAVE FLAT BACK TIRE. THE WHOLE THING GETS VERY HOT AND WEN I ASK TO RETURN AND GET MY MONEY BACK, I WAS SUPPOSE TO PAY 30QUID FOR THAT AND WRITE A LETTER TO WHO I DONT NO! SO ONCE AGAIN DO NOT BUY FROM THESE

Zipper Z2

I must say I was dreading my rash purchase before checking out Scooter City on Trust Pilot. In fact I tried to cancel my purchase but was too late as it had already been scheduled for delivery.
After seeing all the one star reviews I was expecting the worst, but to my huge relief I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Zipper Z2 Electric Bike was actually quite good, (well made ,all parts intact ) didn’t take too long to build and was charged up and ready to go in a few hours.
So far so good.

At least they dealt with the problem fairly

This could so easily have been yet another 1* review, because the scooter was delivered damaged.

Not only had it been damaged in transit, there was clear evidence of damage and denting BEFORE even being shipped from the manufacturer, because it had been touched up with paint that didn't match very well. A key was badly damaged too, so I think the (Chinese?) supplier was sending defective goods to ScooterCity / Nitrotek, which would explain why so many other customers are complaining of damaged goods on delivery.

Getting through to Customer service (Nitrotek) was difficult, long waiting times, and not very sympathetic once I was through. The email ticket replies were reasonably helpful, but I never felt anyone was actually on the case and hearing what I was telling them, and working to help resolve things.

Eventually I clearly got through to the right person, and told them there was a good (4* or 5*) review to had from this, and they agreed to a partial refund and sending through a replacement for the damaged key.

As the credit was refunded as promised and the key was replaced, they deserve this good review, just as I promised them. But they have issues which need sorting out, both with their supplier, as well as internal Customer Service support.

1 star because I had too in order to…

1 star because I had too in order to write review! DO NOT buy from this company. Bought scooter January 22 broke down 3 weeks later, had me doing diagnostic tests on battery for over 1 week, tried fobbing me off telling me battery had discharged due to way it had been charged even after I explained I followed instructions on manual. Returned scooter at cost to me 4 weeks ago turns out it’s the throttle. Company will do everything to avoid answering simple questions about progress of repairs, reasons for faults etc.

This is a proper cowboy company.

This is a proper cowboy company. ordead a quad bike for my son, 1st they tried to deliver the quad twice not on the day we specified. when the qaud arrived, it had scratches marks and broken parts. they were quick to offer a replacement at a price. I read my stationary right and said no, " we will send it back". Again costing me money. but we got it back in time to have a total refund. however hours of phone calls and email they have payed us only so much of our money and have refused to give us the outstanding £65.00. I will continue to battle with them as its our money not theres to keep.
if I could give it 0 stars 🌟 review I would have. but to make a review you had to star it.
please save your money shop eles were from a trusted supplier. they are a company with 2nd and 3rd party involvement and this is the problem, there not a independent company.

I may be old

I may be old, but i totally forgot trustpulot existed otherwise i would have left my shocking experience with scooter city earlier.

Truly dreadful.

The product doesn't even work properly and it took months to get the item returned.

( the product came with a whole host of missing tools to get it to even work )

DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY

So I ordered an electric scooter for my son for Xmas. This was bought in October (I am a single parent and therefore must prepare for Christmas presents early). This was a simple process to order and received pretty quickly. Once it was assembled on Christmas Eve, there was nothing noticeably wrong. My son used it for around 2 hours on Christmas day; it was re-charged, and it has never worked since.

I have been back and forth for a couple of weeks now to try and get the issue resolved to no avail. The requests they are asking of me are completely unreasonable, for example get a voltage reading from a piece of equipment I've never heard of or used in my life, to take it to an electrician or mechanic to find out what's wrong. The list goes on and on. They have now said that I am not able to get a refund or a replacement because of the timeframe (absolutely ridiculous) however I can PAY to return the scooter where they will take a look and see if there is a mechanical fault (clearly there is)

I have had an electrician come and take a look and check all of the above as requested and guess what - the fault is completely the same thing I originally brought to their attention (SHOCK)

An absolute waste of £300+, one very unhappy son, and one very fuming Mum. I honestly don't really know how they are getting away with this, which has quite clearly been going on for a while and to numerous customers.

AVOID!!! Biggest waste of money and no help to replace

I have wasted £300 on a quad bike that we cannot get to work. We have been in a constant back and forth for two month now, with the company sending replacement parts that need to be fitted by a qualified mechanic. I do not know how to replace a Carburetor, or spark plug, or anything else that has now been sent. Luckily my husband has been able to complete the work. The quad bike was sent with the incorrect tyres, not enough stickers and that was before we attempted to start it. Once we got it going, it cuts out constantly. The tyres are too big for the wheel arches and have snapped the plastic casing. The company have refused to collect it or send a replacement. I am heart broken for my children who received this as a Christmas present and haven't been able to use it. I am so angry at Scooter City - I feel like they have scammed us completely.

I would not buy any thing off this…company as they are terrible and luars

I would not buy any thing off this company again I was rolled over when I ordered a quad for our son when I opened the package up I was surprised to see half of the thing attached. Then when looking further into the quad I noticed the handle bars had the clamp marking on the paint work off center so I think this had been a return .then the engine casing had marks on it the front roll bar was snapped the front wheel had rust on it and a touched up paint work plus the threads were rusty I have been in touch with company e.mails telephone calls they are just full of B.S so I have returned the quad at my own expense to get a refund but be water the quads they seel in website with ,% off this is because they have been sent back as a member of staff that as got a stutter ttttooolld me this I will be taking further action in due course trading standards ect .
