Well priced, very straight forward. Clear emails during policy period and afterwards. Did not have to claim.

I had a good holiday and didn’t need to worry about insurance. Going through the online system produced a quote which initially very expensive. I phoned them though and found I’d selected a bunch of stuff I didn’t actually need. If you struggle with the way things are written (why I married a lawyer lol) the online booking can be a little tricky. Call centre were very kind sorting it all out though.

Peace of mind and easy to get my policy sorted over the phone with questions asked by your 'Team to ensure i had all the bases covered.

this is based purely on the ease of signing up and being processed. very easy, no problems. however i haven’t had to make any claims so don’t know what the other end of the insurance process looks like.

We had no issues and no reason to make a claim therefore my only feedback is it was simple to book the insurance and it was very reasonably priced

Simple to organize

We bought Travel Insurance from SCTI for our recent trip to Thailand. We didn't need the insurance but it was good to have the assurance that it was there if we did need it!

Easy to purchase, competitively priced, I didn't need to use the policy fortunately but it was good to have it there.

It was easy to get the insurance set up online, it was an affordable price and it was clear and easy to understand.
Access while overseas although a bit faffy (I understand the need for security) was easy enough.
The claims process was mostly easy to fill in and the results of my claim was welcomed at a very stressful time for my family.

Whenever I travel, I choose Southern Cross Travel Insurance. Their service is always clear, easy to understand, and straightforward to use. Thankfully, I haven't had to make a claim, but my experience with them gives me confidence that they'd be there when needed.

We were pleased we had cover for anything that could have arisen but were happy we didn't have to claim for anything. So can't comment on the claims side.

I highly recommend Southern Cross Travel Insurance as they have been exceptional at resolving a travel claim due to a significant disruption to our holiday plans. I was able to speak to a Customer Support representative very quickly, who promptly reassured me that my children and I would be taken care of financially in respect of booking a new transfer to our initial destination. The claim form was incredibly straightforward and within 72 hours I received an email confirming our claim was accepted and would be paid in full. I have previously used Allianz, and while their service was superb, Southern Cross outperformed them by providing such a speedy resolution and straightforward claim process. I love the fact there is a zero excess option also. No one ever wants to be in a position where travel plans are disrupted, but it's very reassuring to know you're with a travel insurance company that's there to support you. Thank you Southern Cross for enabling my family and I to have a smooth journey for our overseas trip. We can now and look forward to a wonderful holiday.

We needed to put in for a claim as my daughter got Bali belly while on holiday in Bali, Southern Cross was great to deal with and paid out quickly with definitely use them again.
