Amphibia 710059
My wife bought me one of the cushion case Amphibia models with the scuba dude on it (710059). Loved it immediately, as it was solid feeling with great finishing, fit and feel aside from the hollow end links of the bracelet. I put it on a NATO and wore it for a day until it stopped. Manual wind worked to keep it running, but I could not figure out the issue. Scubadudestore sent me a tutorial that did not solve the issue. Looking back I realize that the auto winding rotor was excessively loud and spun with no resistance at all. Likely it was damaged or had come loose from the movement but was still captured in place, though no longer winding the movement. Scubadudestore said they would take care of me and emailed my wife a prepaid return label. I went ahead and purchased another one. I’ve been wearing it for a few days now and everything seems very solid. The winding rotor sounds and feels engaged with the movement, and it actually keeps pretty good time. I estimate that it’s about +-4 seconds fast a day.

Excellent Watch, Excellent Purchasing Experience
I purchased a Vostok Amphibia 670919 directly from ScubaDudeStore.com. This is my second watch purchase from ScubaDudeStore.
I gravitated to this version because I wanted a no date model that had a relatively classic, black-dial look. It came on a comfortable rubber strap that is soft and flexible, but a little on the short side. I am wearing it on the third buckle notch from the end of the strap. I may look for a longer strap eventually, but this one works just fine for now.
The case is polished steel with the standard friction bezel. I am disappointed that the 0 marker on the bezel is not lumed. Obviously, without a lumed pip, it does not really "qualify" as a dive watch. Nevertheless, I will probably use it for snorkeling, fishing, and other water activities. The lume on the dial is actually decent for what Vostok generally offers. It won't win any lume awards, but it is not terrible, either.
The watch is running at about +10/spd. I have not put it on a timegrapher to check for beat error. I had no trouble winding the watch or setting the time. This watch is does not have have a hacking second hand, of course.
Overall, I like the watch as a general wear piece. I needed something that was reliable overall. Sure, I will have to adjust the time once or twice each week, but that's not a big deal. If that is a big deal for you, you're looking at the wrong type of watch.
The purchase went smoothly and delivery was fast. I tried purchasing from Meranom (because that store had a model that was not available at other sellers) earlier this year and the experience was an absolute disaster. Purchasing from the ScubaDudeStore is so much better, easier, and reassuring than shopping elsewhere when it comes to Vostok watches.
