They will not provide refund details and try to make you accept low quality goods by saying you have to send it to China. The staff Mia, May and Leo have still not provided return details since first requesting it 11 days ago making it impossible to return. They do not follow UK law despite being a UK website. Avoid.

Received my watch this week. First appearance. I will be able to cut down on my weights as the watch is big and heavy enough. Secondly, there is no GPS being recorded. It will tell me how many strokes I have done when swimming and how many lengths if in the pool, but in open water it is useless just knowing how many strokes you have completed.
It is difficult to read the screen in daylight. The battery has so far lasted but this is because the display goes off so you have to press a button to get it to show.

Overall, the expectations do not match the advertising. Don't waste your time or money you will be disappointed and out of pocket.

I only give it one star because I cannot give it zero.

I bought a watch from GPS Sekoda after reading two separate reviews on line. I should have also looked at Trustpilot - big mistake. It turns out that the review sights are fronts to direct traffic to Sekoda! the Sekoda website uses a .co.uk domain, lists prices in GBP and uses UK-facing language and gives the impression that it is a UK trader - it isn't!

Anyway the watch arrived, and its rubbish - cheap junk, unbranded; when trying to get it to link to my phone, you are directed to a generic app that falls over when trying to use it. Its pants.

Set an email saying i want to return it. 2 days later I received the following email back:

Dear customer, We sincerely apologize that our products did not meet your expectations. As we value our customers' shopping experience, we would like to offer you two solutions: 1.A refund of 3% of your order value while keeping the product. 2.Return the item for a refund, with the following conditions: You will be responsible for all shipping costs (both initial delivery and return shipping to Hong Kong) A 15% handling fee will be deducted from the refund The return process takes approximately one month Return shipping costs are approximately £35 (please check with your local post office for exact rates) You must provide tracking information Refund will be processed after we receive the item Please note: If the international package is held by customs and cannot be cleared, we will be unable to process any refund as we have not received the returned item Please let us know your preferred option so we can provide either the refund or return address. Important: Please wait for our email with the authorized return address before shipping. Do not use the address on the original package, as this is not our returns address. We cannot be responsible for items sent to incorrect addresses.

This is clearly in breech of UK distance selling regulations, so I have just responded:

Dear Windy,

I have received your email and, frankly, the return conditions you are attempting to impose are completely unacceptable and in clear breach of UK consumer law — specifically the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCR).

Your response gives the impression that you are hoping customers simply will not know their rights. Unfortunately for you, I do.

1. Undisclosed International Return Shipping – Not Legal

You did not disclose at the point of sale that returns would need to be shipped to Hong Kong at my expense — yet you are now attempting to impose this after the fact.
This is not permitted under UK law and it will not be accepted.

2. Original Delivery Costs Must Be Refunded

Trying to push the outbound delivery cost back onto the customer directly contradicts the CCR, which requires this to be refunded when a cancellation is made within 14 days.
Your policy cannot override the law.

3. Your 15% “Handling Fee” Is an Outright Violation

A blanket 15% handling or restocking deduction is unlawful, full stop.
You cannot arbitrarily keep part of a customer’s money simply because they exercised their legal right to cancel.

4. Customs Delays Are Your Responsibility, Not Mine

Threatening that you will not refund if an international return is held by customs is absurd.
If you choose to run returns through Hong Kong, the risk lies with you, not the customer.

5. Your Website Misleads Customers Into Believing You Are UK-Based

Your website operates under a “.co.uk” domain, prices everything in GBP, and uses language that clearly implies UK operations.
Yet you suddenly reveal that I must return a product to Hong Kong at my own expense.
This is misleading at best — and deceptive at worst.

Before I take this further, please confirm your actual registered company name, place of incorporation, and genuine trading address. Your current setup does not inspire confidence.

6. Mastercard Protection

Since I paid using Mastercard, I have the option to initiate a Chargeback if a trader refuses to comply with UK law.
If you continue to insist on unlawful charges, I will not hesitate to escalate this through my bank. And unlike your policies, their processes do comply with UK regulations.

What needs to happen now

I am exercising my legal right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Please confirm — without delay — that:

You will provide the correct return address

No illegal handling fee will be deducted

You will issue a full refund including original delivery costs

You will not attempt to impose undisclosed return shipping fees

I expect a compliant response within 48 hours.
If not, I will proceed directly with a Chargeback and will be reporting the misleading nature of your website to Trading Standards.

Whatever you do - don't buy from Sekoda!

I bought the Sekoda GPS Smartwatch, paid for express shipping (3 days) and it took 14 days to arrive. The watch is wildly inaccurate. Sleep mode shows sleeping 7-8 hours regularly while I am only getting 5-6. The heart rate monitor is useless, reading accurately less than 50% of the time when compared to my Garmin. The return policy is ridiculous, must be returned within 12 days and must be accompanied by pictures of the issue. Don't expect to hear from them, I have sent 3 separate requests and haven't received any return messages. Poor quality and dismal service, do not buy their products.

I bought some headphones that arrived over a week late. Im trying to return them for a refund and have been ignored despite many emails. I've since read there's a 20% charge to return also. Absolutely shocking company, are they even a company? Im reporting them to every single place I can. So bad! Stay clear

I bought two watches, same model supposedly, and they have different apps, different size watch bands, so cannot interchange them and the cords are also NOT interchangeable. This is ridiculous!!!!!

I bought a sekoda watch didn't do what I wanted it for, went to return it and I have to pay for initial postage plus return postage they also want 15% handle fee. This is not a watch for golf unless you want to monitor your heart rate thats all it does. SCAM DO NOT BUY

My package never arrived, paid extra for Express delivery, they DIDNT SEND IT EXPRESS and pocketed the postage !Thats Theft ! That was the first second issue I found after the package was lost ! Sekoda are ridiculously slow at responding to customers, 5 days between every reply !
My item vanished in transit, I provided 100% PROOF it vanished, they would NOT refund me, gave me excuse after excuse about how they were looking "into it with the carrier" etc etc ..... I used my Credit Card company to claim back in the end !! 50 days after refund and they are still sending me messages saying they are looking into this! PLEASE DONT BUY FROM HERE !

Do not use this website. The company is based in China using a co.uk address They send you the wrong coloured item and then expect you to pay £35 to return it. It takes a week for them to reply to any emails and they are very good at stalling you rather than dealing with the problem.

Ordered as thought it was in UK. It took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Bought as a gift and then was not wanted. Tried to return and the company stated I had to pay all delivery costs which would cost £35 as it has to be returned to Hong Kong . The packaging looks cheap and does not have the company's name on it. I thought it was a scam . I would not buy this . I wished I had checked reviews as I will now lose £89

They masquerade as an English business with a uk domain name but are a front for a Chinese business selling unbranded goods

Don’t go near this mob of thieves and don’t believe anything “bestwatchreviews Mark something says.
The email they supply is not active. They didn’t deliver the watch, which was tracked to a local rare house in the city I live, then came up ad an error.
So I’ve lost $280 to a bunch of thieving Chinese s stains .

It’s a *** MASSIVE SCAM ***

I paid £99 for ear buds that did not arrive.

Paid by credit card so got my money back.

Web site purports to be UK but is not. When ordered earbuds tracking showed shipping from an unknown company in China. Sent cancellation email day and half later when tracking showed product still in China. No response for 11 days then on day of receipt response said we have already shipped but try and if not happy you can return. Since then and numerous emails no response now further 7 days. The product was also advertised with features which are not existent - STEER CLEAR of this company

Product did not have the functionality as advertised and was therefore useless for my purposes. Treid to return and customer 'support' now not acknowledging any comms. Steer clear.

I never received my smartwatch!!

Hopefully you see this review before purchasing anything sekoda. To put it simple, DON'T. I was stupidly lured and hooked and purchased the gps smart watch. On confirmation of my order my delivery address had inexplicably changed to a city on the other side of the country. I contacted customer support immediately, and again multiple times over the preceding week. No response until finally after 5 days I received a message encouraging me to enjoy the watch first before asking for a refund.
Scratch beneath the surface of this company and you'll find that all the "independent" reviews are fake.
Luckily I also contacted my bank immediately who secured a refund.
Don't risk sekoda.

Agree with most of the reviews in that this ring is a piece of crap! When contacting seller I was offered 3% of the total so...roughly 6 dollars OH and could keep the ring? SERIOUSLY!! This piece of junk never worked, not once and the app is something else, my dog could do better!!! Shame on them for robbing people, buyer beware!
