The team did a great job, offering welcome suggestions on how furniture could be moved slightly to improve looks, plus personal photo's etc should be removed for security prior to the photography.

We had a few different estate agents round to value our property and they all gave a similar price, so it really came down who we formed the best relationship with and had the confidence in them selling our property. Carl and Matt have been nothing but amazing right from the start. Nothing is too much trouble and they have worked round the clock for us. I would recommend them to anyone who is selling a property. We were exceptionally happy with SellMyOwnPlace. The price was considerably less than any other local estate agent.

Carl and his team were superb, great communication and advice and a really friendly service.

It was the little touches that I would recommend them for, such as the way he interacted with the children, letting them use his laser pen to measure rooms. The team was great, we live a hectic live and they showed potential buyers round the house for us when we were busy, which really helped.

Our house sold within an hour of being listed, unfortunately the buyer’s circumstance changed and they had to pull out, however SellMyOwnPlace managed to get us another buyer quickly.

We would highly recommend based on our experience, don’t be put off by the low price, the service was fab.

What a great service. I've had so many poor experiences of estate agents who dont seem to care and basically tick the boxes to collect their fee. SellMyOwnPlace were like the opposite end if the scale! From day one they went out their way to ensure they provided an incredible service. Their pictures and 3D tour of the house were so professional. They ensured we were kept informed of progress and enquires at all stages and were really proactive in dealing with solicitors to ensure delays were kept to a minimum - along with our stress levels! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I only have good things to say about Sell My Own place from recent experience. From start to finish, the service has been outstanding, special thanks to Carl for being available morning and night and going above and beyond to get things sorted.

The whole way through, they were honest and clear with what you provide and not pushy at all when it came to putting our property up for sale, at a price we wanted. They offered clear advice but made clear it was our choice. The photos were done straight away and actually put live the same day! Time and effort were taken over these, Carl even came back when the sun was out to get a better outside shot!

Customer comes first was obvious when dealing with everyone there and we couldn't have asked for more.

I especially want to mention the effort you put in on the final stretch when we were having trouble with solicitors and documentation. Carl offered to drive to York if needed to drop this off if it meant we got to move! I was really touched by this.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone involved and you made the whole experience leas stressful. I would definitely recommend you to anyone wanting to sell their home and at such a reasonable price. I have dealt with 4 different estate agents when selling my houses over the years and yours by far stood out in every level.
