Not a scam but not a celebration
First. They arent a scam. They are easy to deal with. Very attentive and will answer all your questions and they will list it on their legit website.... thats kinda where it ends. (For us at least)
We had it listed almost 2yrs and never had any hits off this (listed at a third of the purchase price for a quick sale...) until the ONE sale offer 2yrs in (for a third of our already cheap listed price = definately, ouch!)
This was all handled from first contact through to closure by an independent brokerage seperate to smtsn that uses them as a database in addition to their own clients....so could you get rid of a middle man? Im not sure. Worth a look.
We had fees with smtn and then 2 additonal brokerage fees that significantly affected the sale price. (So not really "free") ....and you need to spend a few hundred on a notary to stamp all your paperword on your end.... so again ouch. BUT, we will never buy one again - lesson learnt - and smtsn DID accomplish that sale in the end. (If i could find a brokerage willing to find a buyer without them though it could have saved another $1500+ to recoup inital purchase price) so not ungrateful but not celebrating.
Note: we live in canada. Timeshare was in mexico. Smtsn is USA....so lots of legalities im sure.

After finding a timeshare that we wanted, I reached out to SMTN & ultimately purchased it through SMTN from the seller with no issues. They explained how the process worked, what all the costs would be & how long the process should take. I was kept up to date as to the progress, & any emails I sent with questions were answered promptly.

I would highly recommend
I would highly recommend. I was skeptical at first, but after having my timeshare sit for years and not do anything aside me paying the annoying yearly maintenance fee, I decided to just trust and bite the bullet. Within the first month, I had an offer, but because I saw how competitive it was, I knew I might not win the sell. So I decided to drop my price under 10k and 6 months later, it was sold. So it definitely works! Highly recommend the platform.

Incredible waste of time
Incredible waste of time. I have had my decease parents time share on the market for two years now, paid SMTS $1300 up front for costs to get it sold. Have lowered the asking price from $11,000 to $1000 and have had zero success with them. I think their company is nothing but a scam...............

I would NOT RECOMMEND using this company. I've paid thousands of dollars and have held my listing on their site for 2.5 years. In all that time, I've made nearly a dozen price reductions--far below THEIR (sales expert) recommended price--and received only one (1) unsubstantiated reply to listings. DO NOT WASTE your money!

I would put a 0 star if I could. I paid around $3000 to sell my timeshare and they never sold it. It's already 5 years. And they never even put it on their system. Looks like they are stealing money from people. This is a warning to you. Do not deal with these liars and thieves! They just steal money from poor people. They never gave me back my money

Smooth transparent experience
We had a very positive experience purchasing through Sell My Timeshare Now. We initially found the site through a simple Google search while researching a property we were interested in. After submitting a request for more information, we were promptly contacted by a friendly, no-pressure sales associate who ultimately acted as our broker throughout the entire process.
He provided accurate and helpful information, including details about the unit type and a clear estimate of the total out-of-pocket cost, including all fees. As first-time buyers in this market, we had many questions, all of which were answered promptly and thoroughly.
Within just a couple of weeks, we had agreed on a negotiated final price. The entire process, from our initial offer to closing, took about three months, which we felt was very reasonable. We were also pleased to receive a title credit rebate after closing, which was a nice bonus.
Overall, it was a smooth and transparent experience. If we decide to purchase another property in the future, we would gladly work with Sell My Timeshare Now again.

I sold my timeshare with no cost to me
Over the years, I have received many calls and emails from various companies to sell my timeshare. I am writing the review because I truly had a good experience this time and wanted to share with all of you who are interested in selling your timeshare.
Last year, I received an email from Sell My Timeshare Now company. I was skeptical but I agreed to speak with him. The lead representative explained very patiently the offer and the process of selling it remotely. I was sent the paperwork for review, and he answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
I was convinced that this was a legitimate offer. I started the process and within three months, I received the check with the agreed selling price at a zero cost to me as a seller.
I was very pleased with this transaction and their support throughout the process.

I purchased my timeshare and had a contingency that would credit me a portion of the closing cost once everything was finalized. Ben Cochrane reached out from customer service and checked to see if I was satisfied with the service and experience. I mentioned that I had not received my credit yet and he immediately began working to rectify the situation. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective and timely Ben was in handling the situation and making sure that I finally received the check. He went above and beyond and I was very impressed. Will certainly use their service again.
