Not sure how they could get any worse!

Not sure how they could get any worse! It takes an hour to login with their 16 character requirements, then you get locked out...and it goes downhill from there when you have to deal with their customer service...

Avoid at all costs

They just don't care, even if you are paying customer, they just don't care that you follow their documentation to configure mailing on your end and then just on final small step of DNS authentication they are not even checking the issue - generic answer from their knowledge base. 0 customer service and support! AVOID !

Can I give negative star ratings?

Complete piece of s41t service. I can't log in to old accounts - all say under review. When making a new account, I get an email immediately saying the account is now closed due to some violation which they don't explain, then I also get another email saying I need to set up 2FA? Is the damn account closed or not? To add to that mess, you get a server error when searching support tickets - LOL.

Service is complete trash and unuseable - I'm gladly shifting to Postmark now.

Horribly run mail service.

Sorry to have to agree with everyone else here. Company is incompetent. Support doesn’t know their own product, cannot even perform basic troubleshooting and setup verification.

Operations suspends accounts without warning and delays or loses time sensitive emails, which threatens the reputation of your business or product.

Frankly you are better running your own mail server since you’ll be supporting it yourself either way. But at least that way they won’t be able to shut it down on you without explanation.

Terrible company and terrible customer…

Terrible company and terrible customer support. After 2 attempts sending a form my issue was still not resolved. I tried logging in from Safari and Google Chrome and still I am unable to log in, says unauthorized user, so it's not my problem, it's theirs. What a joke of email service. Don't waste your time.

Once I left 1 star, but they deserve more

In the past I left a terrible review, now I had a reason to modify it.

My provider changed my Ip address, so I couldn't access anymore and we lost a very important communication.

The solution arrived 40 hours late, the train was already gone: but it was kind, supportive and effective.

I leave 3 stars for the bad experience, but if I had received an answer earlier I would have given 5.

I really appreciated the effort, great guys.

Looked Myself Out - Support only Available to Logged-in Users

For some reason, I cannot login into my Sendgrid account anymore as, apparently, my IP address is not whitelisted. I can't remember if I configured this in such way or if Sendgrid did. I don't think I did that. They locked me out by some nonsense security update I think.

In any case, I am locked out and cannot login. I tried to contact their support but guess what - you have to login to contact them. I don't know if I should laugh or should cry.

I tried everything to contact them. They are unresponsive and - believe it or not - they don't even have published a customer support address on their website. Impossible to get in touch with their Support Team.

This is probably the most unprofessional company I have ever used. I am going somewhere else now.

SendGrid (also Twilio). Disgusted, ran us around for days, initially didn't believe the issue we reported but then they had to because others had the same problem. Fabulous, we thought. Then they refused to let us open an account. Don't waste your time use a competitor.

Awful customer service

Created business account for marketing newsletter. Paid 450 EUR for a package, Provided SendGrid with everything they've requested to confirm the company's legal status, opt-in information etc. Support team have been super fast and effective. Once I've started test newsletter, they suspended the account (without a reason, all requirements were met, the email contained opt-out link, legal address, privacy policy and no phishing links), stopped answering emails for 5 days, live support became inaccessible. And now I don't know the suspension reason, seems like they won't go for a refund (again, they don't answer on emails) and a lot of wasted time.

Ridiculously awful behaviour. How are big companies still using such a trash product.

What a joke

Tried to create an account from my business account (mobile app studio), in order to try it for a new app. They locked my account as soon as the sign up was completed. Thinking it was an error, I contacted their support, just to tell me that they "carefully" reviewed my account and they won't reinstate it. Shame there are no zero stars.

Worst service ever!!!

Worst service ever!!!! They locked our account and had to rush to switch over to another provider. We were relying heavily on them, paid them and never received an answer from them. Do not use them!!! They are the worst service I have ever engaged with on the internet.

Experienced issues with using SendGrid…

Experienced issues with using SendGrid as a SaaS in Azure and contacted their support as my account got “locked”.

Got this as a response
“ Hello,

Thank you for your continued patience.

Twilio SendGrid leverages many different verification techniques to reach a decision. Unfortunately, after careful review, we have determined that our platform is not a good fit at this time and your account will not be activated.…..”

How could I possibly violate something before even getting access to make account? Do you guys even read what us customers write in their support request or do you just respond using some ai auto reply

I strongly advise everyone from using this if you are looking for a new email provider.

Such a bummer as the service itself is good but the support is horrible.

I rarely write reviews

I rarely write reviews. But this time it was too much to handle. Perfectly fine newsletter. Uploaded our client emails into the system. Got the template ready. Configured the AB test subjects. Right in the middle of the campaign -> "We haven’t seen you in a while. For your protection, we have closed this account."

Non-existent support. Non-working helpdesk. This is a chargeback.
