Useless product and non replying customer service
I bought some smart bulbs and whatever I tried they would not connect to my WiFi. Friends have tried but they just don’t work. I have contacted their customer service dept several times and I have never received a single response. I would not recommend this company or their products to anyone as all round they are useless. Do not buy from them.
If I could leave a zero star I would
If I could leave a zero star I would. These bulbs/company used to be really good. However, this is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their system keeps going down for months at a time and absolutely zero communication to their customers. The worst part is, they are still selling their products to people, to me this is a scam. I wish I never bought this company‘s products. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I can't give it a lower review..
I can't give it a lower review... it doesn't accept ZERO stars.
The app doesn't work, signing up for an account doesn't work on my PC or my android...
As useless as breasts on a nun.
Absolutely Terrible Experience – Misleading, Broken, and Zero Support
I purchased these Sengled bulbs because my Xfinity Home dashboard lists them as compatible and specifically states they do *not* require a hub. That turned out to be completely false.
When the bulbs arrived, the “instruction sheet” included was barely more than a flimsy pamphlet filled with incorrect steps, wrong diagrams, outdated requirements, and almost no actual guidance. It told me to download the *Sengled Home* app from Google Play—except that app **does not exist**. The only Sengled app available is “SengledSimply,” which refuses to let me create an account and only produces an error message.
I called customer service hoping to get help, but instead I was pushed into aggressive sales pitches and never connected with anyone willing to troubleshoot my issue. The one person I did reach tried to sign me up for some kind of Medicare add‑on—completely unrelated and wildly inappropriate.
I emailed Sengled support next. To my surprise, I received a quick reply asking for the model number and photos of the packaging. I sent everything they asked for immediately. Then I received an automated message saying a support agent would get back to me within 24 hours.
It has now been **three days**, and I’ve sent multiple follow‑ups through email and made more calls—**not a single acknowledgment** from Sengled. No updates. No solutions. Nothing.
I’ve notified Xfinity about this issue and asked them to remove Sengled from their list of recommended devices. This company is misleading customers with false compatibility claims, broken apps, and essentially nonexistent customer service.
Avoid these products at all costs.
Destined for the recycling bin
I have two of these plugs both of which are destined for the recycling bin.
I bought both Matter enabled plugs from Amazon and connected each to an Echo Spot to control low wattage items, one a subwoofer the other an LED strip light.
Set up and connection is easy and takes just a couple of minutes but that’s no good if they don’t stay connected. I’m pretty sure I did everything correctly but despite that, neither plug would stay connected for longer than a couple of days. After each of several drop outs and resets, I’ve finally given up. No more Sengled products for me
I should just finish by saying neither plug had to carry more than 100 watts
Thanks for reading.
They don't work anymore
They don't work anymore, don't buy this paper holders.
This company is dead!
This company is dead!! nothing works anymore, amazon cut the management from the company.. If you own that product buy another one..
Unable to score a zero for Sengled
Unable to score a zero. Stay away from them.
I was happy with a light strip using Alexa until earlier this year. Purchased with Amazon but get no assistance from them either nor refund.
The product doesn't work, the app is not available online anymore, and there's no help. No customer service, doesn't respond to emails, phones don't work.
Nothing works
I own a dozen bulbs that now longer work as smart devices. Thanks for nothing Sengled, may you reap what you’ve sown.
Poor de-support advice by Sengled
Through trial and error I’ve saved a good number of Sengled Zigbee lightbulbs from being sent to landfill. I bought a SONOFF Zigbee bridge pro hub from Amazon @ circa £25 and re-paired all my Sengled lightbulbs to it through the eWeLink IOS app. I then used the eWeLink skill within the UK Alexa app to regain Alexa automation. Hope it helps others in the absence of post de-support updates from Sengled.
Lightbulbs lose connection, app unresponsive, no reply from customer service. Very poor product and frustrating experience. I do not recommend.
The App is now dysfunctional than my family!
App wont let me sign in. Deleted the app, reinstalled it, tried creating a new account with a different email. NOTHING WORKS. Can’t sign in with apple id either.
I’ve troubleshot the problem, looked on google/reddit:/etc. I’m doing EVERYTHING and yet I can’t access all my lightbulbs since the app is simply unresponsive.
This is a complete waste of money and they are garbage.
I’ve written several times to customer support and no reply,
I’ve had Sengled bulbs for years and…
I’ve had Sengled bulbs for years and they worked great. Now I can’t get them to work at all. Not through Alexa, not through their app, not through other means. This company hasn’t even had the decency to tell us all what we already know! Their GONE! And what really makes me angry is that Amazon knows this and they continue to sell this outfits bulbs! I’d like to know if these products are still working for ANYBODY! Shameful!
Sengled have gone west!
Like everyone else I have a number of Sengled bulbs and a hub that no longer work. The company has disappeared despite their website appearing to show all is normal. Do not buy anything from anywhere with this name as it will not work.
What the hell happened
What the hell happened? Used to be nearly 100% reliable. I now have like a dozen Sengled bulbs that don’t respond to Alexa or the actual Sengled app.
Do not buy anything from Sengled.
This company is either all ready dead…
This company is either all ready dead or on the verge of dying. Nothing works from this point. As everyone can see from the other reviews, it seems like they just shut down. DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM SENGLED
Their app is consistently down and it…
Their app is consistently down and it is frustrating. There is no update from the company on this important issue. I will absolutely not recommend buying anything from this company.
Loved the product when I first started…
Loved the product when I first started using them 5 years ago. the last 3 months have been horrible as the service stopped working with Alexa, now Google, and the ap doesnt work. I spend a lot of money on this product for it to be this bad.
This company seems to have gone to hell…
This company seems to have gone to hell in the last few months, they have no customer service and their servers don't work, they have left thousands of people furious with their smart devices without them being able to work.
