suspended my vps for no reason
After using their servers without any issues for two months, I noticed in the middle of the night that my server had been shut down. When I checked, I found out that the server had been suspended and I was told that I needed to complete KYC verification.
I initially started the KYC process on my PC while my VPN was turned on, which I didn't realize at the time. I encountered an error, but after several attempts, I eventually managed to get through the process. The KYC service then asked me to continue the verification using my phone, so I did.
After completing the entire verification process, they rejected my KYC simply because I had used a VPN, even though I had successfully completed the verification process.
My server was completely suspended, and I was not refunded for the remaining balance either.
If you want to get scammed, go ahead and use this service.
I strongly recommend spending a little more and buying your servers from Hetzner instead. Stay away from this website.

As set by our Terms of Service, we verify customer identities in certain cases - such as confirming that they are not residing in a sanctioned or embargoed territory based on internal risk assessments and various signals. The vast majority of our customers will never encounter such a request - a verification is only triggered in exceptional cases, when our internal risk assessment identifies signals we are required to act on.
The outcome of a verification is determined by the information the customer provides - at sign-up, at payment and during the check itself. For customers whose details are accurate and consistent, the process is quick and straightforward. In this case, the verification identified significant mismatches across all three. To be clear: using a VPN with our services is not against our policies and is not a reason for suspension. During identity verification, however, confirming the customer's actual location is a mandatory part of the check - a VPN significantly interferes with exactly that, which is why verification providers ask for it to be disabled.
Given the number of inconsistencies and the elevated risk associated with the account, we have made the decision to discontinue the service - the level of risk involved is not one we are able to accept.
If you believe any of the information was submitted in error, please contact our support team - we are open to re-reviewing your verification with corrected details, and we can discuss your remaining balance there. As we cannot discuss account specifics publicly, we'd be glad to go over your case directly.
I woke up one day and found out they had suspended my VPS
They deleted my VPS without notice, and I lost my customers. Support is very slow and unresponsive when I told them to just tell me what was abuse what i done that deserved this. I even asked them to let me back up my service, but nothing; they are UNBELIVABLE

Your account was suspended because it was hosting a cryptocurrency exchange without a legal entity or license - this is something which our Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy do not allow. This was confirmed by a manual staff review, as we explained it in your ticket once our review was finished.
We also gave you two options there: reinstate the service with valid licensing documents, or receive a full copy of your server data. You chose the data, so we sent you the complete disk image the same day, so in result nothing was withheld or lost.
We understand the first day of waiting was frustrating and we're sorry the early replies were light on detail - our team has been carefully reviewing your case to ensure most correctness on the outcome of the review. If you have any remaining questions, your ticket is still the best place to reach us.

Blazing fast hosting with great support
A really good hosting provider with blazing fast support. Price and quality is literally top-notch.
Everything runs smoothly, the servers are really stable, and the overall performance has exceeded my expectations.
The only downside used to be the traffic limits, which were quite strict, but after the latest update they became much better. Now, most users probably won’t even notice them, except maybe VPN service admins.
Overall, I recommend this provider!

Following requirements to disclose the exact TB values behind our Fair Use Policy, we took the opportunity to restructure our plans with full transparency, so every customer knows exactly what they're getting. No fine print, no second guessing. As you mentioned, most users won't come close to the limits anyway - though if you're running something high-bandwidth like a VPN service, the published numbers should now make it easy to pick the right plan from the start.

Terrible service
Terrible service. The server was down for several weeks, no compensation, and they even came up with some penalties for late payments. These guys are literally charging money for air.

We'd like to clarify a few things, both for you and for anyone reading this.
We monitor our infrastructure around the clock and keep detailed uptime logs. We weren't able to find any service interruption on our end lasting "several weeks". Whenever downtime does occur due to our fault, we compensate clients at double the duration (at most times, it is ten times that) - that's a commitment we take seriously and consistently honor.
Regarding the fees - we understand this can be frustrating, and we want to be transparent about what they cover. When payment is missed, your service is suspended, but we continue holding your disk storage, IP addresses, and server capacity so that everything is right where you left it when you're ready to come back.
The data retention fee reflects the real cost of keeping those resources reserved for you, and technically is not a penalty if you are not planning on renewing the service, as the fee won't be charged unless you renew your service. The policy is outlined in our Terms of Service that are available to all clients.
We always work hard for every client to have a positive experience with us. If there's something specific we can look into on your account, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team - we're always happy to help and work things out.

Fantastic web interface! The gold standard in cloud services that I've found. Their pricing is also very good, and as an american, their GDPR compliance is a nice bonus. However they dropped the ball with the onboarding process. I needed two VPSes, so I registered the first one in frankfurt, and it is still not active. They say they have a shortage in their datacenters, and I asked their support reps if they could nudge me to another datacenter with availabillity. They left me for 8 hours and then told me no. I ended up just registering for the second VPS in helsinki, and setting up there while waiting for Frankfurt to have space. This is a blunder, espescially for something that would take literally 30 seconds to solve.

According to our Terms of Service, virtual servers may be activated within up to three business days after payment. In most cases, provisioning is completed much faster - typically within about 120 seconds, all as advertised.
If capacity in a specific location is temporarily unavailable, customers can request an internal refund to their client area balance at any time, allowing the funds to be immediately used to order the same service in another available region. This is our standard process rather than manually relocating services between data centers.
We would also like to note that the affected DE-EP lineup was restocked within roughly one day, resolving the temporary shortage shortly after your order.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience during onboarding and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our service.
