Crooked Piece Of Crap Company
This is the most crooked company that I have ever dealt with. They quote you a price, then charge u another price
100% AVOID this company
100% AVOID this company. Our kitchen sink pipe burst which resulted in our floors, cabinets, and everything else in between needing to be removed. The mitigation crew was very polite, did their job well, and even informed me of damage that they caused during the intitial demolition. After completed, my house was left with exposed wires, no floors, no dishwasher, no oven, etc... Their construction crew dragged their feet for over a month with no start of repairs. Ended up firing them and going with Action Restoration for repairs (Which was the best decision ever). ServPro agreed to give me my deposit back in exchange for the mitigation check from the insurance company. They dragged their feet again for over a month, ghosted me, refused to repair the damages their crew caused (even with proof), gave me conflicting information with all of the administration personell I was speaking with, caused lost of time and income because I work from home and was unable to do so. They then filed a claim with collections and lied to them, even though I had email receipts of them agreeing to swap checks. Due to them dragging their feet yet again, I had to pay another deposit out of pocket to Action Restoration. Long story short, do NOT use ServPro whatsoever!!
I rarely leave negative reviews
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this SERVPRO location was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn other homeowners.
I hired them to do a dust seal and containment while my whole house plumbing was being redone. The upstairs containment failed during the job, and when they removed their plastic downstairs, they pulled paint off my ceiling. Their own internal notes acknowledge both the failed containment and the ceiling damage.
Instead of taking responsibility and working with me to fix it, the communication from the office was chaotic and misleading. They later claimed I “never responded” to their project manager, even though I have multiple emails in the same thread showing that I replied and tried to connect.
Then, on December 2, things went from frustrating to outrageous:
Around 9:00 a.m., I received the first invoice I had ever seen for the remaining balance.
Roughly two hours later, I got a call from someone named Patricia Martinez, who immediately threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn’t pay right away.
This was despite the invoice itself saying 15-day terms, despite the documented defective work and damage to my ceiling, and with zero acknowledgment of that damage or my good-faith attempts to resolve things.
Threatening to encumber a homeowner’s title within hours of sending the first bill, in the context of a disputed and partially defective job, is completely inappropriate and felt like bullying, not customer service.
In the end, I paid the bill simply to protect my home and move on, not because I think the job was done properly or this was handled professionally. If you’re a homeowner considering this franchise, be very cautious and get everything in writing—especially around workmanship, damage, and billing.
Very overpriced
Very overpriced, for their services. In my opinion they take advantage of distraught homeowners dealing with severe water damage to their homes.
One of the most dishonest
One of the most dishonest, negligent companies I’ve ever had to work with (up
there with home warranty companies). They don’t communicate, they overcharge you, they don’t keep accurate records. Then they just expect you to pay whatever they invoice you. Their equipment is billed at “market price”, so there’s no accountability to give estimates. DO NOT use Servpro for anything no emergency is worth this.
ServPro: slow and billing fraud, yet good repair
ServPro (of Upper Darby via Bear New Castle) was recommended by insurance for water damage and repair. It took them 1 week to dry out a small bathroom but another 5 months (and innumerable emails and texts) to complete the flooring and wall repair and painting. Though the repairs were ultimately done well, they provided an incomplete bill, apparently using fake accounting, to get twice their original estimate from the insurance + my deposit. I still do not have an accurate bill. I consider them crooks, extorting money without proper disclosure or receipts.
Servpro of Fayetteville Beware …
Servpro of Fayetteville was a very big disappointment. I had heard so many good things about them but they didn't live up to the hype jason west and David Stephens are just pencil pushers and do nothing. Jason West failed to dispose of my window blinds and carpets in the living room and bedroom So the insurance company doesn't want to pay for them to be replaced David Stephens failed to have the subfloor included in the tear out before the new vinyl floor could be put down. Causing a delay in the house being finished. The house is ready all except the flooring
ZERO STARS _ DO NOT USE _ Servpro Palos…
ZERO STARS _ DO NOT USE _ Servpro Palos Verdes is a franchise, so I understand some locations may be professional and legit. These men from the Palos Verses location are scam artists and prey on women who live alone in this area. They came out to my home and took 1 hour to tell me I had mold across two rooms and a hallway, 3 feet high starting at the baseboards. Water damage in the ceiling as well. They told me my kids should vacate the rooms immediately, it wasn't safe to sleep another night in these rooms. They asked for $425 for the inspection and then gave me a quote of $7k to remove the mold (that did not include putting the walls back together again) Meanwhile you can not see any mold or water damage, just a damp smell. (turns out is normal if you live blocks from the ocean and forget to open your windows for ventilation!) I called my homeowners ins. they sent out 3 inspectors. I called my family plumber of 10 years as well. All professionals confirmed there is no mold, no water damage, nothing. These men put blue tape everywhere and spread fear across my household. This location should be shut down. They simply count on you taking their word and not getting a second, third or fourth opinion before ripping your home apart. Terrible humans! I plan to write a negative review everywhere I can, to anyone who will listen, so others will not be taken advantage. Feel free to return my emails, calls or refund my $425, it would be the right thing to do. K. Morena, PVE.
ServPro unethical business practice
ServPro apparently has an exclusive agreement with my insurance company for mitigation and repairs. The work for mitigation of water damage was good, but they collected the deductible from me and also the insurance company. They provided an estimate for repair work that included added fees for "labor minimums." The communication from Jenna Hill was inconsistent and slow, requiring follow-up. Three months later, they still have not refunded the payments they over collected, so I am left waiting. Eventually, ServPro told the insurance company the work was below their minimums and refused the work. They lowballed the estimate presumably because they added "overhead and profit" surcharges that are not included if I cash out and choose my own contractor. That means the payout is not enough to hire another contractor. Their business practice seems unethical, and customer service is extremely poor. They still have not returned the payment they collected twice without telling the insurance company I already made a payment. I still have a large hole in my ceiling and searching for alternative contractors to handle each part of the repair. They were guaranteed profit by their captive agreement with the insurance company and still claimed the repair size was "not viable," after they had provided an estimate.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience, I had my insurance send Servpro to my place due to the water damage. They left unfinished job and dealing with mold growing . I won’t recommend this company.
Absolutely horrible drivers!
Absolutely horrible drivers in the Chester, VA area. Cutting people off within inches of causing car accidents, doing 60+ in a 45. Absolutely zero care for others well being. Obviously safety is a joke at this establishment.
Servpro..Not so good of an Experience
I was offered Servpro from my insurance company to repair my garage from fire and water damage back in June 2025. It is Sept. 2025 and the reconstruction is still not completed. Granted some of the early issues were from my insurance company for lack of communication on their part. Since that was rectified, the issues are solely with Servpro and its vendors. I've been monitoring the progress from home surveillance and vendors are not showing up when they claim to have been working. I've voiced my complaint with Servpro and I am still awaiting to have my garage repaired. I will be posting the process on social media platforms so that customers can review for themselves before choosing this company. Let's see how long this takes to get finished.
Well I requested them to fix the mold…
Well I requested them to fix the mold and repair the damage. They want money of front to come out. They removed the damage from the mold and then I asked when they were going to fix it and file with insurance but they never called attempted to communicate and all they do is send threating emails that end up in your spam email due to attachments. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DO NOT TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH ANY RESPECT. AVOID IF YOU CAN
Honest review of my experience w/ Servpro MF
Very fast service with cleanup and demolition of a flooded basement. The rebuild process is another story. First of all I want to give a shout out to the workers who put the basement back together: Bill, Ron, Jacob. Darren, and Shane. They did an amazing job. Now the bad. Billing descrepencies, billing me for work I completed, not servpro. But the most frustrating thing was the extremely POOR communcation from the project manager. This might have been his very first job. If that's true servpro pick a job too big for this guy. I did more of the project managing than he did. Also very hard to get a hold of. Didn't return call or texts. Even spoke with servpro management mid project but nothing changed. I expected servpro to contact me after the project completed to see how it went or if I was satisfied. They never did, maybe they already knew!
After a wicked storm in Marblehead Ohio
After a wicked storm they sent 5 trucks and 5 men and a woman as soon as they could which was a day later but other companies were 2-3 days later. Our entire finished basement was covered in sewage. They were at our home for 8 days in blistering heat gutting everything down past sub floors and drywall. They were a polite and hard working crew. My neighbors had them a few years back and could not say enough of their mitigation and repairs. The team we had was Huron & East Seneca Ohio

We had a leak that went into my daughter's bedroom. Jason was our technician. He was very thorough and did a fantastic job. He made sure all my questions were answered, and he met our expectations.
Where do I start
Where do I start. what a nightmare. had a space heater fire. Servpro tried to charge for work they never did. Had to get a detail 22 page Invoice from my Insurance Company. WOW. Crazy. Had to call them out on it. Have a lot of pics to back it up. They lowered the price after they were caught.
Servpro is the best
I cannot stress enough how incredible of a company Servpro is. We had a house fire last June which was devastating but the positive aspect was how professional, efficient and friendly the staff of Servpro were. Jessica and Chris arrived and quickly were able to make us feel more relaxed as they explained what their process was. They did all they promised in a very timely manner. 10 months later when they delivered all our contents (which I was stressed about) I was amazed at the condition. Many items looked better after they did their magic. I cannot say the same about State Farm but I am happy to completely refer Servpro to any person who has the unfortunate situation to need their services.
This company is FANTASTIC!!!!
This company is FANTASTIC!!!!. I called on Wednesday and they were here Thursday. The young man Jerry Ferney was respectful, professional, diligent in completing the clean-up and right on time. I would recommend them to everyone and I put their number in my contacts for future reference. Bravo to Jerry and Servpro. Lawrence Herring
Cedar Rapids foundation leak.
I live in an apartment complex in a basement unit. Louis Janecek and his team came to remove water from a foundation leak that came up into my vents. I could not have asked for better service. They were extremely efficient in removing the water which was hundreds of gallons but identified the problem and documented it thoroughly. They were professional and also personable. Very respectful of my personal belongings and the property in general. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend to anyone needing their services.
