Does not deliver and we paid $135K which is still owed.
Last year we had an agreement with Aran O Neill of SevenSeasExport Ltd, to supply us with sugar, branded as Ikumsa on the Seven Seas website.
Aran O Neill is also a director of DAB Cargo and was to be involved in future sugar supplies for us. A sister company to help Aran O Neill with the exporting of our sugar purchases.
We have the signed SPA of purchasing sugar ICUMSA 45 with Seven Seas Exports on 29 August 2023. We made an advance payment (USD135K) on the 04 September 2023. Mr. Aran O’Neill who is the managing director promised us that he will be providing the booking confirmation after the advance payment has been made.
We didn’t receive any related documents from Aran O’Neill but he continued and falsely stated to us that the shipment will arrive at Malaysia port by the end of September 2023.
During this month, we asked again and again for booking confirmation and related shipping documents, Aran insisted and guaranteed that the sugar which we bought had been loaded onto a vessel and will arrive.
We were sent misleading videos suggesting our sugar was on a ship ready for delivery.
Realising there was something wrong when there was no issued bill of lading, and becoming tired of constant broken promises, we asked for a refund through an official email on 04 October 2023 where it was agreed to be refunded.
On 12 October 2023, we received a TT slip from Aran O’Neill showing a refund, but no monies ever arrived in the company’s bank account.
Aran to this day still shows screen shots of promised refunds, and in light we have served a formal legal notice yet he appears to be of no fixed abode.
Realising the exorbitant lies and promises we decided to employ the services of a UK based private investigation company who can confirm that other companies have also fell foul to what appears to be a well thought out scam.
This is an ongoing matter but I would strongly recommend not using SevenSeasExports Ltd, any of Aran O Neill’s aliases or associates.
