Replacement parts sorted
I ordered the twist fit blinds that didn’t stay up. I realised a year later and asked for new fittings. Ellie managed to get a replacement screw-in fitting sent out, which now work great. I’m very happy with the support I received.

Still don’t have the blinds
I ordered 3 blinds for my bifold doors. A parcel arrived but it was just the blinds and no fittings. It took me several days to get through to someone on the phone when it became apparent that the courier had lost the missing parcel. 10 days later, I’m still waiting for them to either refund me or get the missing parts to me.

As a blackout blind it is not very blackout. The fittings on the wall don’t allow the blind to reach wall to wall and let in light either side. Disappointed.

I’m sorry to hear you’re disappointed with the light seepage you’re experiencing.
Our blackout fabrics are designed to block out light from the fabric itself; however, as noted in the product specifications, “Our blackout fabrics are designed to block the light, however please note depending on the system type chosen and measurements selected some light may get through.”
Light gaps can occur due to the fitting style and how the blind is mounted, and I understand how frustrating this can be when you’re expecting a full blackout effect.

When buying Direct through Shade and Story you are agreeing to our T&C's and payment method. There is the option to go via John Lewis measure and install service which is purely with JL and as such I believe you can use vouchers with them, as it is all the same company.

Chaotic website advising two weeks to…
Chaotic website advising two weeks to manufacture, then advised it was made in one day with delivery when we were away.
No response to request to change delivery until after it was delivered.
Misleading from prices on website, actual price up to 4 times more for the smallest blind.
Blind was well packed and of good quality, hence 3 stars.

Good product hopeless communication
At no point did you contact me to say when my blinds would be delivered. I arrived home after being abroad to find the package left at my door. This was the same last time as well.
The quality of the goods is very good by communication is non existent.
