Recently used shading specialists to supply and fit blinds in my new house. From start to finish they where fantastic and the work carried out went beyond my expectations. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Just had Diaz electric venetian blinds installed in our lounge. Diaz had logistical problems and initially delivered the wrong colour and wrong remote. Under pressure from us, Shading rose to the task on hand and left no stone unturned in rectifying the problem in the shortest possible period of time. We are now delighted with our blinds and thanks to the Shading team for the excellent service.

I had skylight and patio door blinds installed several years ago. I needed them reasonably urgently as the light was coming in and dazzling my newborn baby when she was lying on the floor. They arranged for the blinds to be installed soon. The blinds are very good quality and work well with a smooth mechanism. They keep out excessive light in summer and retain heat indoors in winter.
There was a problem with one of the blinds which kept running out of charge rapidly so Shading Specialists replaced the motor but it still kept running out of charge so they replaced it again and this latest one has lasted 16 months before needing recharging. I was impressed with their aftercare and the fact that they dealt with a post-purchase problem until it was resolved.

I had an electric roller blind installed over my french doors and I love it! The two guys who came to fit it were really friendly and helpful when showing me how to operate it and before it was installed they told me exactly what I needed my electrician to do (I'm not a tech person at all) I need curtains in my front room and I will definitely be using them again, thanks shading specialists!

Exceptional customer service! From contacting the company to installation was flawless, I was kept updated throughout the whole process. I visited the showroom to look at the blind options I wanted in my house and all the staff were very informative on the products. I will be highly recommending to my friends and family.

I recently had an insulation of electric blinds with Shading Specialist. I am based in the Kent area and they were very hands on and accommodating when they come to measure, even during these uncertain times. I spoke with both Sam and Ben and found them both very friendly and informative - they gave me a lot of different options and were very flexible and attentive to my needs, I couldn't recommend them enough. The finished product is of the highest quality and I am so impressed with my blinds. They fitted my sky lanterns and bifold doors and they look brilliant. Thanks again! Highly recommended.

I ordered a couple of blackout blinds from these people who call themselves specialists and the fitting turned out to be a total disater. They couldn't manage to properly fit the blinds and left me with some rays of light getting into the room despite the intrinsic quality of the blinds. They argued that the window sill was slightly slanted and an additional component would need to be fitted, requesting hefty installation fees for this. When I reminded them that the whole point of their pre-installation on-site survey was to take proper measurements of the area to be covered, they kept pretending that their measurements were correct. I tried really hard to make them acknowledge that a window has a left side and a right side and had they measured both sides properly they would have detected a slight slant of the window sill and fitted the missing bottom channel together with the rest of the blind instead of charging me twice the installation fees for the same job. Not only were these amateurs unable to take proper measurements, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and asked me to pay for a new installation to fix an issue brought by their carelessness and lack of professionalism !! Fortunately I managed to find a much more reliable company that fixed it for me very efficiently for half the price requested by these amateurs.

My experience with Shading Specialists was straightforward and professional. They measured up, I went to choose samples, they arrived quickly and the lead time was shorter than expected. The installation was on time and as described. Altogether what you would hope when dealing with these sorts of things, but often don't experience!
