Take care, they sign you up for monthly membership.

Take care with this company. When you order an item you don't realise they are signing you up for monthly membership of $4.99 (£4.02) which is taken automatically. It is virtually impossible to cancel, even though they say you can. The products I bought were good but took a very long time to arrive and there were a lot of problems on the way. The customer service is very poor. Pity, I would have liked to purchase more products but I will not use them again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Blurb all over their site about free and easy refunds/exchanges within 60 days. Placed order #SM5775980-TR, and want to return 3 items. website pretends to be taking you on returns journey to generate returns label but stops and instead gives you an ad to shop some more. NO OPTION to generate a returns label or process return. You are then encouraged to live chat, which is a BOT not a human. You then get told to try messenger- another BOT, which tells you someone will contact you by email. I have now sent 12 messages, 9 emails, a phonecall and a paypal dispute. They WILL NOT send a returns label for the 3 items. Twice I had 2 humans who fob you off by saying why are you returning them, then disappear again so your reply is back in the hole of no-one dealing. One big loop of poor customer service and avoidance. Clear attempts to stop you getting a refund or being able to return unwanted items. Read the reviews on here and google. Customer service is non existent. They hide behind BOTs and do everything to avoid dealing with your return. Go to Paypal and raise a dispute and you will see their big heading saying before raising a complaint, email us with PAYPAL DISPUTE as your header for priority. firstly clearly used to claims being made, and secondly, this again doesnt work as directs you back to the BOT telling you how busy they are (with complaints no doubt) and that someone will come back to you on email. THEY DONT. Now going to press and paypal dispute being raised, purely to be able to return 3 items to a company for my money back. Absolute joke of a company

Do not buy!-Poor Exchange/Refund/Return

I purchased twice from this seller on the assumption as they have advertised about their easy return policy upto 60 days. Sadly, has anyone experience once you have made purchase and paid, they will tempt you again for further reduced items at the end? As I was one of thos who are easily fooled, I added two items! I accidentally clicked not noticing that I ordered an XL size!!! Too late, it has gone through, so, I emailed them straight away about the error. They replied and advise was given about the return process.....to cut the story shortm in the end they are not replacing it or refunding because it was on the sale, they just offer a 10% discount on the next purchase! How on earth will that help me the customer when I purchase over £150 items. So I am stuck with oversized and also items that does not really do what it says and advertised in social media. Never again, hard and expensive loss.

very hard to get a refund

Tried to return an item for a refund (clearly states on sales blurb that you can easily get a refund). The link/website will only allow you to choose a replacement NOT a refund. You then get passed to a chatbot who sends you in an endless loop refering you back to the same site which ....guess what will only allow you to swap for something else. Avoid.

Avoid Subscription

Joined the Shapermint Club as it said it was easy to cancel the subscription. Nigh on impossible to cancel however! The links provided take you round in a loop and back to the website. Eventually got through all the Chatbots to speak to a human who did her very best to try and stop me cancelling by offering several deals. Finally managed to persuade her I did actually want to cancel and she agreed.

Inconsistent products

I had bought a great bra, loved it, so bought more of the same in different colours. The original bra had adjustable straps, the new one didn't and would only fit someone who had breasts positioned just below their neck and doesn't actually want to do the bra up. I then exchanged the bra, for the same colour and size as the original - same problem. I have wasted so much money and time with Shapermint, with return postage, and being reimbursed in US$ equivalent not UK£, and back and forth with their customer service bot before being put through to a human. I didn't even receive my return label, so had to contact customer service again - more time wasted. Shapermint did let me keep this worthless, anatomically incorrect bra to give to a friend (or enemy?!). I am so disappointed as I love that first bra, and really wanted more as it was so comfortable. However, I cannot trust a company which is so unbelievably inconsistent with its product.

An update on my previous review

An update on my previous review. I finally got a response from Shapermint after I commented on a thread on their FB advert. Apparently the replacement I ordered was out of stock, which happens, even though the website accepted the exchange. However, rather then contacting me to explain and offer a different colour or a refund, they waited until we had gone through the entire tedious back and forth. A simple email from them at the beginning would have saved us all some time and effort. Nevertheless, my refund has been processed so I have improved my star rating.

I wish you could put a minus

I wish you could put a minus. Ordered and recieved quickly. It was too big so asked to exchange. They got back saying on 4 seperate occasions I needed to confirm my address (even though they managed to send the original ok) and I gave the same address each time. It's been months of asking for a refund as they claim they are sending the replacement and nothing. I'm out of pocket. Avoid like the plague.

They don't actually deserve 1 star

They don't actually deserve 1 star. Awful service. Made order, contacted them within an hour to cancel. I had made a mistake. Wanted to cancel and would then regroup and place correct order.

I don't have the energy to go through it all, emals, messages, they refused to cancel, don't worry they say, you can use our no quibble return.

It's now telling me that there is a problem with the 60 day limit. They were delivered 5 days ago.

There customer service AI is a perfect example of how to show your customers how far you are removed from wanting to attract customers and keep them for repeat business.

It's sad day when a company feel that these behaviours are okay. My views won't matter to them I'm sure. They get to keep my money for goods that will never be worn. But there's a positive, now I know, I can avoid.

As the saying goes Buyer Beware.

Not transparent about membership

I ordered a bra from shapermint and during the ordering process, it said I would get free fast delivery if I took out their membership, which is free for a month and then around £4.99 per month after that. Who doesn't like free delivery? So I took out this membership and made a note to cancel it. The bra I ordered was way too stretchy to ever be supportive. So I returned it, this was only a few days ago, I really hope I get my full refund, bit worried after reading the other reviews. Anyway, back to the membership. Once I returned the bra and I couldn't see anything else I wanted to order from them I logged into my account, but there was no information under the membership tab, it looked like I didn't have membership. So I searched my emails. Again, nothing in the emails I got from them about this membership. I looked at their terms and conditions and it said to cancel the membership to either email them or request this via chat. I had to give my order number, name, address etc. and was told I did have membership. So I asked to cancel then I got a sales pitch you get all these benefits with membership blah blah. No I would like to cancel. We can give you a 35$ credit and restart your trial membership....No cancel it and send me an email confirmation of the cancellation. I did get the email confirmation, but I'm not impressed by how underhand it all seems to be. Why not confirm the membership in the first place? Why didn't it show in my account? Why do I have to contact them a) to find out that I did have it and b) to cancel it? Is this to catch people out so that they keep paying every month for a membership they forgot they had? Not impressed at all. Will not order ever again.

Needs a rethink… hot to wear and sizing not great.

Oh dear, I am now being inundated with emails and requests to make another purchase but here’s why I won’t …

1. The bombardment of emails.
2 Despite its claims, I beg to differ that this underwear has any cooling technology whatsoever l. I am boiling hot wearing it!
3. The material is very thick
4. The camisoles are very long. I bought 2XL , I am 5ft 7” but still too long.

Suspect this brand has been designed by men or women who don’t understand shape wear. It needs a re think.
Save your money and go to Primark.

2 Positives… earning the 2 star review…
1. I don’t need to wear a bra.
2. Will keep me warm in winter.

Total con!!!, takes your money yet still waiting for purchase of leggings

i purchased slimming leggings on 9/5/2024. i am still waiting for the delivery tracking id SM5053351-TR, I contacted customer service tried to track parcel which was sent to a different city in the Midlands when the correct postcode was confirmed to Newcastle upon Tyne. Numerous online chat with no resolution successful as the tracking of purchase states it is in transit on the 10th. Now I am going around in circles trying to locate my purchase which i have paid for on 9th May 2024

Do not buy from Shapermint

I have written a review already saying that Shapermint is run my crooks. This is my second review. Shapermint I know you will read this like you read my first - the address you asked me to contact you on on your response to my review is false and leads nowhere. So for the record my order number is #SM4815858 and I am requesting to return the bra for a full refund. Your refund policy on your sale site states I can do this and If you do business in the UK you need to abide by your business policy. Your sale site refund process leads only to a response saying my order number does not exist.

You have my email because you acknowledged my order so respond - through Trustpilot or my email !!
Buyers - do not use this company they are cheats and are running a corrupt business selling rubbish clothing.

Very expensive

Very expensive for a not very comfortable bra. The straps are too thin and keep rolling over. The side seam buckles and does not give a smooth outline as advertised.

Terrible company

Terrible company, impossible to speak to an actual person. I ordered a cami top which arrived promptly but was not suitable. I tried to find out how to return from the website which was an absolute trauma as the only contact was via a “bot” person, after several attempts and over an hour of my time, I worked out how to do the return but am still waiting for my refund from 14th February.
They took my money in an instant but it seems are not able to do the same for refunds. I have tried to contact them again, but once again I am back with the frustrating “bot”

DO NOT ORDER

Do not order from this company - despite it looking like you are buying from the UK, once you have brought it - it converts to dollars and you are liable for shipping and and import charges!!! Tried to cancel but was offered discount/money off. This is not clear on website when it looks like you are purchasing in £’s!

Not impressed - do not buy from this company!

Buying from the UK I was so disappointed to be charged in US dollars and therefore also had to pay a conversion fee when the payment went through my card. Even though it said I was on Shapermint UK site! What is that all about??? In addition, I am still awaiting my order - didn't realise it was being shipped from China and while it has been received in the UK on 21 Sept according to the tracking - it is now over a week later and my order still has not been delivered. All I can say is the products better be blooming worth it when the eventually (if ever) arrive.
