Customer service is abysmal; products are unworthy of sale.
Customer service is abysmal. Their warranties mean nothing.
We had a ShelterLogic Arrow Driftwood Series shed collapse into a twisted heap of cheap material less than 9 months after we bought it. Their 10-12 year "special warranty" is misleading and useless. In writing, they do not even defend the inappropriateness of their products as sold in Canada, because they are apparently not made for Canadian climate yet are sold by Canadian Tire. Customer service offered us 40% off on a replacement shed when we provided photos of the remnants of their shed and asked for a refund. Why would we pay to buy a replacement of garbage for garbage? Shady company and cheap products. Avoid at all cost. And Canadian Tire should also stop selling their products.

We’d like to clarify a few important points regarding our sheds and warranty. Our warranty is designed to cover defective parts or manufacturing issues, but it does not extend to acts of nature, including extreme weather events or snow load–related damage. The Driftwood Series shed you referenced is not live load–rated, which is clearly indicated in the product documentation and installation guidelines. For this reason, we advise customers to securely anchor the shed using anchoring systems appropriate for their terrain and to promptly remove snow accumulation from the roof to prevent structural stress.
We also recognize that climate conditions vary significantly by region. While many customers successfully use this model across Canada when installed and maintained according to guidelines, we do offer live load–rated models that are specifically designed for areas with heavier snow loads for customers seeking that level of protection.
Regarding the resolution offered, our team provided a discount toward a replacement as a goodwill gesture, despite the damage falling outside warranty coverage. While we regret that this was not the outcome you hoped for, it was extended in an effort to assist under the circumstances.
We value all customer feedback, and we continuously work with our retail partners to ensure product specifications and suitability information is transparent, so customers can make informed decisions. Extremely disappointed!!! I’ve had Shelterlogic shelters in the past that lasted 5 or six years. Now they barely last one year!!!
For $600 or $700 this is totally unacceptable!!! You can tear the fabric with your bare hands …like paper!!! 🤬🤬🤬

5-star service, very impressive! I called ShelterLogic with a question about product availability and the agent was not able to answer at the time. But then I got a call back in less than 15 minutes as she had found what I was looking for and more. I wasn’t even expecting the call - the agent (Marangelly) too it upon herself to follow up on my question and then call me with a solution. She was wonderful - proactive, helpful, friendly, and responsive. I ended up ordering multiple items and through it all, Marangelly was helpful, patient, and went the extra mile to answer my questions and find the items I needed. It has been an excellent experience so far, especially because it’s so rare these days to get such great service. Thank you!

However, the product quality of the regular cover for Garage in a box is terrible. On my fourth cover and the last one only lasted 14 months or so, maybe less. The sun seems to eat it, then is splits, tears and blows away.

If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancy, which might better suit your needs.
