Thinx for all - leaked

Thinx for all - super absorbancy. Supposedly up to 5 tampons! I am not particularly heavy and use only regular tampons. I can wear one at night and a small pad and it's fine. Wore these and leaved all over PJs and sheet through to mattress. Saved the planet using one less tampons but now have 2 washes to do.
They're comfortable but generally fabric (not absorbant bit) too thick for me for use in the day. Bought in Boots for £18. Not sure when I'd wear them again. Maybe at start/end of period.

Fantastic in every way.

Fantastic underwear. These things have changed my life. I have used them for over a year without a single leak and can wear white without worry, and no need to worry about my sheets. The underwear is made with very good fabric and is made to last. The underwear is immensely comfortable too. I cannot speak more highly about this company. They are the best, hands down. Ive tried other brands and nothing compares to Thinx.

Sending spam mails even though I ordered there more than 5 years ago and subscribed several times from the newsletter.

I also think there are now way better alternatives in terms of longevity, style and sustainability.

Love this company and their products

Love my Thinx period underwear! I have a very heavy flow so use these for backup with my menstrual cup, when anticipating my period and also at the end when it’s very light. I would not recommend people with a heavy flow wear these exclusively especially if you are prone to gushing or flooding. But for me they’re a lifesaver as a backup! No longer wasting money and killing the environment by wearing both tampons and pads.
Also, I have friends with lighter/moderate flows who use these by themselves and they absolutely swear by them. So, if you have a heavy flow wear these as a backup with a cup or even a reusable pad and if you’re on the light/moderate side these should be good to use solo!
As for customer service, they are excellent and stand behind their products. I wore the High Waist Heavy Flow on a particularly heavy day and they did end up leaking. I emailed the company asking about it and they told me what I’ve said previously (it’s not recommended to use them on their on if you’re prone to flooding/gushing as I am). However, they did still send me a replacement pair in case that one was defective. I love that they replied promptly and went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy.

Bought two pairs and consistently leak…

Bought two pairs and consistently leak through as soon as 15 mins after wearing. So disappointing for such expensive underwear, and humiliating to experience at such a difficult time of the month. Only positive is that they felt quite nice to wear - perhaps that’s why they don’t work.

Useless

You'll feel happy that you found a great replacement for those nasty disposable pads/tampons...
For up to a few months. After that, you'll be lucky to go 30 minutes without leaking everywhere. It's ridiculous how much they spend on marketing and 'empowering' women on being free on their period days. The only sense of empowerment I felt in these past few days were when I threw them in the trashbin.
If you're looking for a long term eco friendly solution for your periods, give Thinx a bloody wide berth (pun intended).

They. Simply. Do. Not. Work.

They are not worth the stress you have to go through when you realize you've stained YET ANOTHER bedsheet/seat/cushion cover.

period underwear that works

This is period underwear that works quite well. Products arrive quickly and are good quality.
Only problem is the high price. For this reason I give 4 stars, not 5.

When I first got my period pants…

When I first got my period pants (bought as a gift) I was really excited to use them and they worked well…at first. Now, less than a year in, they are not good. They emit a bad smell. I followed instructions rinsing before washing on a cool wash/30degrees, hang dry, but these incredibly expensive pants - I feel they were not worth the outlay.really not happy. I can’t even contact them to give them this feedback directly… as I have no account. Sad. Don’t bother.

It's possible for absorbed blood to build up in the gusset, causing odor and preventing maximum absorbency. If your undies need a li'l extra love, try a vinegar soak. Before you wash your undies, soak them in the sink or a clean tub with one cup of white vinegar and some cold water. Leave them there for about 15 to 30 minutes, then clean in the washing machine. You can add a little white vinegar to the wash too, if you think they need it.

Not worth it.

I bought three pairs of underwear. One heavy, one moderate, and one light. The Cotton Brief didn’t last overnight although it claims to hold 3-4 tampons worth. The Sport bled through to my leggings which I only had on for two hours on a moderate day. I wish I never placed an order.

Ordered from the UAE, FAST. RECOMMEND

Ordered from the UAE. Super fast shipping. Minimal import fee. Love that they're sized well, super soft and not bulky.
Ordered from Ruby Love previously. Took months, sent wrong ones and absolutely refused to exchange. They were bulky and stiff.
These are so much better. Super comfortable and soft. They're for my 12 year old. I'll definitely order more. I'm very impressed just when I was about to give up on period undies.
THANK YOU

So disappointed

So disappointed. Bought these from a UK retailer to avoid the customs charges and within half a day of wearing them, I had bled through to my jeans. They say they hold 4 tampons worth but there’s no way this is true. The store I got them from won’t accept returns on underwear so I’m out a lot of money and they’re no where near the ‘saviour’ they were described as.

Customs charge for the UK

I have been a loyal customer for years but my recent order had an extortionate customs charge on. I think Thinx need to do a better job of making this clear to customers. I wont be buying from them again even though I do like the pants because its just not finically viable given the customs charge. There are plenty of competitor now that are just as good and way better value.

Hidden UK customs charges

I placed my order on the UK version of the website that displayed prices, including shipping, in GBP and only when the payment was being processed did it change to USD. As non-sterling transactions incur a fee on my credit card, I got in touch with them straightaway. During my correspondence with customer service, I was told that I would also need to pay a customs fee "like we mention at checkout and on our website!" (yes it included a sarcastic exclamation mark).

I then provided them with screenshots of every page of the checkout process proving that there is no warning (I used the mobile site and then Apple Pay), but every answer I received said that they were sorry that I had overlooked it! Whilst they provided me with screenshots of the US website that does have these warnings, they would not acknowledge that it was not visible to me despite clear evidence.

Thankfully they did offer me a refund so I'm just waiting for that to be sent through. So, no comment on the pants, I never received them.

Hidden Customs Charges, ASOS stocks them so buy them from there instead!

I ordered these over a month ago and they still haven’t arrived.
I’m in the UK and as I’ve not found out that I will have to pay customs charges I’m just waiting to get a note from the post office or something...
They are available on ASOS so if you’re in the UK order from there instead if you order from the brand at all.

Hidden Customs Charges

Hidden Customs Charges

Like many others here, was shocked to be charged expensive customs fees after already paying for shipping costs. I have ordered from overseas before and never received such a high cost. Three pairs of undies with a 28GBP customs fee. This should definitely been made clear upfront. Especially considering the company has obviously received complaints about this in the past. Really devious and deliberately misleading.

Great customer service

I actually asked for a refund because the panties I ordered were not comfortable material. I'm going back to my cotton granny panties and tampons/pantiliners.

But, I'm giving this four stars because they gave me a full refund no questions asked. That is customer service!

Disappointment at customs charge

My daughter who is 11 told me these were what she wanted as she had seen them on YouTube . To make things so much easier for her I jumped straight in and ordered them 3 pairs just short of £60.00. We have waited 4 weeks and now have been informed I have another£16.87 to pay import charge!!!!! My view of Thinx is not a good one and she hasn’t even tried them yet. Won’t be buying more 😡

Not being clearly told that you have to…

Not being clearly told that you have to pay an additional Customs Fee is daylight robbery. I have never come across this with any other company.

Furthur more, I didn't realise this fee had to be paid, so my package was stuck at the post office for weeks, the She Thinx customer service team took over a week to tell me what the problem was.

I will NEVER order from this company again.

Expensive

Investing in period underwear has really changed my life. However, the cost for each item is ridiculously high in my opinion, especially for slight changes in designs. I've bought at least ten items over the last five years. After awhile each pair begins to stop being as effective, the smell also sorts of lingering despite being washed. The oldest of my pairs also seems to have a permanent stain.
