There was a slight delay in shipping due to damage noticed prior to sending. I received an email updating me and that a second book production was required. It arrived shortly after in mint condition. Great customer service in a world where this is now sadly rare

Here is my review and comments on 'A Very South African Odyssey'. I like the way you mix the railway aspects and life in RSA. The book is both interesting, to rail fans like us, and readers who enjoy travel. For the readers who enjoy travel, the chapters on 'Victoria Falls, Kimberley, Wildlife, {The Fauna and Flora} and the African Wedding ' were very interesting. I also really enjoyed the chapter on Witput and Salmon Nel.
The book is easy to read and well written with beautiful photographs and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Well done Helen and Phil.

Not the advertised price and terms…
Handling of the order was efficient and delivery was prompt. No complaints there. However the terms applied to the transaction differed from those advertised in the Daily Mail. The DM website quoted a certain price (for readers) and a code to be used, also free delivery. I was charged a slightly higher price plus delivery charge, and the website had no place to use the code. The sums were small, but the principle was not so good.

Unfortunately we are unable to find an order under your name, so we don't know when your book order was placed. However, the Daily Mail offer ended on the 10th March after which the special discount ended and the price reverted back to the standard price. Sorry we cannot help any further.
