I placed an order for two pairs of flip flops. Exactly the same pair. I received one in good condition. The second pair came in with mismatched shoes. I contacted Nika Mullis at customer service and she asked for proof. I sent her a photo. She then sent me a shipping label - 2 days later - to return the mismatched shoes and told me that they would send out the shoes I ordered when they received my return. That is not how I expected this to be handled. My shoes should have already been on their way. Very bad customer service. Very unhappy with this company. Buyer beware!

I bought two purses thought they r good price, when they were recieved one of them was not as expected since there was only one picture for it on thier website, the other one was too small with a defective zipper!Ok, I regret buying them and wanted to return, I paid $12 for shipping hoping that they will waive the shipping fee as described in thier return policy!they recieved the product and refunded me the purses price but not the shipping fee!The problem is thier bad customer service whome I contacted many times to ask for the shipping fee and each time they have an excuse for not refunding that fee!one time they said why u did not send pictures!one time they said the items r not defective!I gave up but will never ever deal with them again.

First off, this is the first time I’ve heard of this place.
I ordered a pair of shoes for my son because I knew he would love them and this was the only place I could find them. Without thinking, I put my card info in and placed the order. The receipt went to my spam folder, then it hit me, I never bothered to see if the site was legit. I looked up the reviews and saw everyone saying the order was cancelled after waiting, they take your money and never arrive etc. So, I felt like I took a loss and would wait it out a few weeks and call my bank. The shoes were on my porch literally 2 days later! Maybe it’s the stock of the shoes that everyone else is ordering, but I’m 100% satisfied with this company and delivery

There is a lot of cons to this job One is the pay for a part-timer is $10 an hour for a full-time manager who works almost 40 hours a week and barely gets a day off and has to come in all the time on their day off I get $13. Honestly this job is not worth it whatsoever The higher ups are awful they treat you like you are disposable. the constant threats of being written up and the harassment this job is not worth it.
There is no security in our store we have to watch every single customer that comes in and make sure that they do not steal anything when something is stolen that is the manager's fault they are constantly being threatened on being written up for poor job performance. What do they expect us to do tackle someone to the ground for stealing. When something is stolen it is the manager who's on shift that day is their fault they are constantly being threatened on being written up the store makes about 5,000 in credit card money and they can't even afford better security system that's just one store. I'm not worth the $13.
Last week the vice president of the company screamed at my boss Jacob saying that he should write me up because I of what I wrote down in the comments when I was clocking out I wrote down "going out to get water be right back."
The vice president of the entire company is awful he says that my comment was inappropriate and not of company values.

My friend, who was a part-time worker, had to get surgery on her wrist. She was a part-time timer and was told that part-time timers do not get PTO. The day after her wrist/hand surgery, she was forced to work.

Horrible company to work for. I was a former employee at 1711 Store and I’m still waiting on my paycheck for August.15,2025. I have been call payroll department and still haven’t received it til this day which is September.5,2025. Today I spoke with Jay Manning and he is very rude, disrespectful and make the company look worsted than what it is. They only pay keyholder $10 per hour and treat you like shit.
WORST EMPLOYER EVER
As a former employee I would not recommend employment or shopping here. The companies first and only priority or concern in profit. They treat their employees terribly with high work load and low pay. Training is non-existent and you are left to do everything on your own and figure it out. As an experienced manager I regret ever applying and definitely regret my employment. After an injury which was ignored and denied by my direct supervisor, HR also ignored me and I was given an ultimatum forcing me to resign. Now 8 months later I’m fighting workers comp because their insurance company refused my clean without doing their due diligence. I might see lost wages next year when out court date comes. 2/3 of my wages and still recovering from surgery. My life has been ruined.

Another rotten Sh*tShow experience
You're gonna wanna ignore the positive reviews and save yourself the wasted time and effort. Their Customer Service/Order Management Lead will pretend you're making it up and then ignore you. Been over a week and they haven't resolved the issue.
ShoeShow/ShoeDept does not care whether your order arrives in its stock condition and intact. They routinely ship the shoes without the lids on their boxes so that they are exposed and loose in shipment (this also senselessly robs you of the opportunity to neatly stack your new box of shoes in your closet with all the other boxes that have their lids on them like they're supposed to).
They pack the orders in very cheap shipping boxes with super cheap packaging tape so that the tape comes loose in shipment and the box is useless so it can't handle the weight of all the other packages that will be piled on top of it in transit on its way to you.
So then when it gets delivered to you with the top of the box caving in and open with its contents openly revealed and the shoes now damp from having absorbed the abundant outdoor humidity and with it getting rained into, and you then have to take your own time and energy to notify customer service about it, and their lead customer service person will actually write you back confidently denying it, suggesting that something was piled on top of it (like they think you're making it up or like you damaged it yourself, or like they're too stupid to understand boxes get other boxes piled onto them in the UPS truck) and will tell you that they see nothing wrong with it and that you can ship them back at your own expense. As if everyone can just get up and go do that.
Doing business with these people is not worth the hassle. They are not interested in an honest sales transaction and they do not care if you are not happy with the terrible job they do. They apparently think everyone is able to just get up and go return things to the store. Which, also -- I'm telling them this box got rained into, and they say it seems fine to them and take them back to the store??? So rather than believe the customer, they'll tell them to bring the "not damaged enough" shoes back to be sold to someone else.
I've dealt with this kind of crap from them more than once in the past too, which is insane, because what kind of company shipping something as simple as shoes in 2024 can manage to repeatedly fail to seal a shipping box correctly??
