Good luck trying to register a product on Sony.it. I purchased a Sony TV in August 2025 and have tried to register the product on the Sony it/ MySony since then without success. Every time I tried I received the following message: “"Siamo spiacenti, ma si è verificato un problema tecnico temporaneo. Grazie per la tua pazienza, stiamo facendo il possibile per risolvere il problema. Riprova più tardi." Every single time.
I opened a support ticket in early February. In the span of one month and 10 emails from Sony.it later I have cancelled the account that I had tried to create and was never able to access and register the purchased product and given Sony.it permission to create a new account in my name and have them send me an activation link.
Although customersupport.it [@] eu.sony.com promptly responds to emails, they only serve to relay messages from the “competent department” that has presumably emailed an activation link multiple times and which I’ve never received. It’s odd that I can receive emails from customer support without any issues but not from the mysterious competent department. And when I try to activate the account directly on the Sony website, it sends me to a broken link.
In this endless loop of nonsense, the latest recommendation is to create yet another account with a different email address.
I give up. If this is the kind of support given for something that should not require support, I won’t bother purchasing other Sony products in the future.
