I purchased a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator from shop appliances. The process and delivery was easy enough. The refrigerator was installed. It was a garage refrigerator. The model is specific for garages. We loaded it up with meat and food at as it is our storage refrigerator. One week later we find neither the freezer nor the refrigerator compartment works. As you can imagine in today’s economic environment we lost over $600 worth of meat in the freezer. I contacted Shop appliance and they told me to contact Frigidare. There’s no recourse through this company for a brand new refrigerator that does not work. Frigidaire has also said they will not cover the loss of food and will attempt to repair this refrigerator. Once again I spent 1000 some odd dollars on this refrigerator brand new and it does not work. The level of my disappointment and frustration cannot be expressed.

Worst online shopping experience I've ever had. Salesman said no problem the truck can leave the appliances in the apartment if you are not there in time but they'll call you 1/2 hr. ahead of time. They called when they got there, not 1/2 hr. ahead - so they made me pay $125 to redeliver - I got them down to $62.50 even though it was not my fault. Then they tried to redeliver and again called when they got there - missed delivery. Next time they called an hour ahead as I originally asked and they took 1.5 hours to get there, but at least they got there. I tried them - I will never shop there again and will use our local guys that will take a lock code, go into a unit, take pictures and leave if I can't get there in time.

Update - The owner/management of Shop Appliances called me directly and "took very seriously" the issues I had dealt with over the past month. I really appreciated that he personally reached out to me not only to listen but also to help me complete the transaction with his guidance and support. I think what happened to me was enlightening to management, and I truly believe things will now change for the better. I changed my rating to 4 stars (instead of 1 star) with the trust that going forward, changes will be made to the way orders are handled and shipped. The installation went seamlessly - guided, I'm sure, with Shop Appliances management help and support to make AM Trucking Company do what they promise.

I ordered a washer and dryer on June 3rd.. As of today, July 7th, I have not received my order. "Bill" said that he would be "in charge" of my order - that is where it started. Bill had absolutely NO FOLLOW-through, and he is a manager here. The order arrived to AM trucking and was incomplete. I asked them to not deliver until the order was complete - they scheduled a delivery driver anyway. I sent them back. The missing part arrived - damaged. So far I have received two more of the missing part but never the washer and dryer they have never arrived. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They use a RIDICULOUS delivery company (AM Trucking) that has no idea what they are doing. Save yourself the STRESS of dealing with either of these companies. I wish I NEVER PLACED AN ORDER with this company it has been a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE that isn't over yet. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and my Credit Card Company, NO one at this company cares about the customer.

I saved probably $500 buying four appliances from these guys. To be double charged, overcharged, ignored, and generally frustrated for a month. Continue reading if you like, but that's the gist.

Update. As of 6/30, the appliances finished their ~325 mile journey in just 30 days. I assume the walk was arduous with the heat in the northeast. After a ton of back and forth the with Shop and the two companies handling the shipment, I was told on 6/26 that the shipment would arrive on 6/29 between 9 and 1 with a call two hours ahead. At 1 since I had heard nothing, I reached out to the shipper and was told that they would be there soon. Out of the blue they show up a few hours later and my delivery is done. A few days later a call from customer service was ignored during dinner and an immediate callback was answered and I was promised a $100 credit. The follow up email again told me about a $100 credit and asked for me to remove or update this review since I was now satisfied. $100 won't touch the expense of having the trades here to install based on their promised dates, even with a buffer for realities. $100 doesn't touch the inconvenience of waiting a month for a purchase to arrive.

Update. As of 6/26 the latest round of promises from this company have been broken. Their shipper has located the shipment and had me waiting for delivery today with a call yesterday to talk about a four hour window. That call never came so I reached out and now am to expect that call today with hopes of delivery on 6/29.

Ordering was fairly easy. So easy that they somehow charged my card twice, both times for the wrong amount. I have had to dispute one of the charges and get refunded for the appliance that they charged me for, even after removing it from my order due to being out of stock (yes, it said it was in stock when I ordered). That's where the fun begins...
Order was just under a month ago. Seemed to be moving along reasonably well, with a predicted delivery date of June 15-17. Nice. Have the installers set up for the end of that week to allow for slippage.
Not only is the order not here as of June 24, no one knows where it is. Shop appliances tells me to contact the local shipper as it is at the local site for delivery. I do. They can't find it.
Email Shop Appliance customer service and they open a ticket. They call me back, read my email back to me, assure me they will get it taken care of, then close my support ticket even though nothing has changed.

Price is better than most other places, but the other stuff is a disaster.

Natasha was incredibly helpful -- recommending the appliances we needed that fit our budget and features. Then she made sure we got delivery in our needed time frame. She really made this a painless experience.

I recently purchased a gas GE double oven through Shop Appliances. I have never bought a stove online before. I was impressed from the start with the online experience, but when I needed to get to a person to ask a few questions, I was able to do so with ease and they were very helpful, kind and very service oriented. I received shipment information in a timely manner and when there was a shipping situation that arose the person I spoke with went above and beyond to make sure we received our order as expected. He followed up and checked in, this is almost unheard of these days. I am a very happy customer. I would recommend them highly, and if I need new appliances in the future I would shop here again.

Less than 1 . Every step with this company was a painful experience. When my 3 items did arrive , 1 was broken, another was missing parts . The refrigerator worked out- even though I paid for installation when I asked if they were taking the refrigerator box full of trash- they laughed at me. I would suggest you go elsewhere and save yourself the grief.

Natasha found me a refrigerator that fit in a restricted space. I couldn't find one even with AI.

AM trucking advised the arrival time and they were right on schedule. Personal with AM Trucking did an excellent job with the delivery and set of our Whirlpool refrigerator. They unpacked the refrigerator, inspected and installed as requested. They were very careful not to damage anything while bringing the refrigerator into our house and putting it into place. Overall they did an excellent job.
