The product was a good price. It arrived on time and in tact. It was sent with GLS so I could follow where the product was and received a message when the product would arrive.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY
I Would never order from this company again. My terminally ill elderly father ordered a trolly to try give him some independence. He subscribed with the company but unsubscribed the same day but his unsubscription didn’t work. I then tried and thought I done it but after seeing £38 out of his account turns out I didn’t as they send you another email to confirm and a third thing you need to do. This process is very long winded and not transparent. Then to add insult to injury we got an invoice from fedex (even though should have been free Delivery) asking for £40. I have called today and got no where I’ve asked for a call from management and nothing. To top it off the product that now has cost around £250 is not safe to use.

If you were as quick to call me back (after requesting with one of your team member for a member of management to call me) as you were to respond to my bad review you may have found out my issue. Till now I am still waiting on a call. You are very quick to blame your customers when your site is not transparent. I am not the only person with similar issues.

In our shop you can either purchase at a regular price without registration, or sign a paid membership and get a discount on all your orders while the membership is active.
I see that you have chosen the second option and actively accepted the terms upon signing your GOLD membership. You have also used it and got a discount on your order.
The membership is not binding and can be unsubscribed at any time by logging into your profile or via helpcenter.
Please be advised that your membership has been renewed automatically after your trial period expired, - before your cancellation via helpcenter on the next day after the renewal.

I hereby confirm that your order has been shipped with a free delivery option (shipping paid at our expense).
The invoice you quote most probably refers to the local import tax in your country. Any such fees are imposed by the government and/or local authorities while the collection might be delegated to the carrier. In any case those have nothing to do with us as a merchant and never hit our accounts. What you see at the cashout is your final price from our shop. On the other hand in case of a possible import tax or other customs fees in the country of destination, we always duly mention such information upon placing the order - see your order summary for details.

If there was anything wrong with the product, why didn't you contact our support in that regard after the delivery?
I'm afraid I do not see any product related tickets with our support team. I only see two membership related tickets on your behalf that were duly replied by our team back in the day.

Dutch Bandits

After nine months of chasing my bank over a Section 75 dispute with this bunch of crooks, I’ve finally got the VAT back that I had to pay to FedEx which according to ShopBetter24 was included in the price, but as with everything with ShopBetter24 it was a lie. Along with ShopBetter24’s claim of free delivery on all orders and their delivery times. ShopBetter24 are bandits, they give the UK consumer the impression that they are dealing with a UK company, but because ShopBetter24 are based in the Netherlands they do not have to conform to UK trading standards. Be prepared to get ripped off, and have no protection from the UK’s consumer protection laws.

We offer free shipping on 80% of all products but in some cases such as yours, our regular couriers are not able to deliver to your address with free shipping. This is due to excessive size and / or weight or difficulties in delivering such an item to your address. Instead of rejecting such orders straight away we therefore offer alternative (third party) couriers, who can deliver the item(s) for an extra fee. This is an automated process and depends on numerous factors such as excessive size and / or weight, or for instance the local shipping regulations in your country.

Regarding your membership, you have actively used your membership and its discount for placing your order hence the refund is not applicable. We can only refund memberships which have not been actively used. Furthermore, your order was delivered with free shipping and you also received your GOLD discount.

I kindly advise you to contact customer service if you have further questions regarding the abovementioned.

Fast delivery and great customer service.
I had a problem with my order which got charged twice and the employee (Lukas) that helped me was very kind and helpful. I received a refund within 2 weeks.
It is nice that just because you have a problem it does not necessarily mean to have an overall bad experience.

Autan multi insect spray is really good…

Sorry I reviewed the wrong item first of all but you could remind people when asking for an opinion. I'm not going away until next week so I haven't used this Autan Mosquito spray yet, though I have used the same one before. I was just grateful to see an outlet for it as it is hard to get and impossible from a stockist in Britain and I looked for ages before I found ShopBetter. The name has changed a bit but the label is the same as my very outdated old one. It took a little while to arrive but it did come from Europe so not a bad time at all. It is a good spray and really keeps our little blood suckers at bay.
I like the fact that ShopBetter uses Royal Mail as well.

Order never acknowledged or shipped - with update

I ordered a product on 7/9/23. So far, there has been no confirmation of order email, no indication of when shipping will occur (if at all because I don't think it will) and when I contacted them I got a couple of vague responses that didn't make sense. The first was that no one could answer my email (they emailed me to say they couldn't email me) and the second to say there had been a hold-up with paperwork - and now silence. But of course the money has been taken out of my account! Beware of this site!!!

Update: So, ordered 7/9, emailed 12/9 to ask about shipping, response, as noted, was we can't answer you, got email 14/9 saying paperwork delay, emailed 16/9 and got no response, emailed 20/9 to request refund, got email 20/9 advising of refund and chastising me for accusing them of ignoring my last email (which they did), BUT got email 21/9 requesting that I take this review down because in their minds everything is ok now. The fact that customer service was shocking, the item wasn't shipped (it was a dog bowl, how complicated can the customs paperwork be?) and it has taken weeks to resolve with me being the one to request a refund (which I suspect I only got because of this review) is apparently a pretty good outcome - businesses trying to manipulate their Trustpilot profiles and re-write history. As I say, beware this site and, seemingly, their Trustpilot profile because apparently they are getting the negative stuff taken off where possible

As already explained to you by our support team, there was an exceptional incidence with the customs demanding excessive documentation on several orders to Australia including yours and it took some time to figure that out. Of course all this time our support agents were following up on your ticket and updated about the status, hence it is strange to hear that you were worried about the lack of response.

Again, your order remained in dispatch to be shipped as soon as the paperwork is resolved.
Of course it is an automated process and is in no way influenced by your messages on Trustpilot or whatsoever.

Upon your cancellation request it has been cancelled immediately and reimbursed accordingly.

The pic is not the same product you get

I received a bottle, after read the name of the bottle is the right one, but the picture is from another brand, much better that the one I received. Please, change the pic, becouse the one I wanted was that one and not the other one. I keep it becouse I need it, but is not the same quality! Sorry for this but is like this. Anís tenis is not anís Sinc!!

Several issues

I was charged monthly membership without my active consent and my delivery was not packed properly resulting in breakage. Also I send messages and no one replies.

All new GOLD members receive a trial membership. Members are free to cancel at any time and terminate their ongoing membership. If you do not cancel your membership within the trial period Shopbetter.fi will assume that you are interested in continuing as a GOLD member and your membership will be renewed automatically. You have also used your GOLD discount on the ordre you are referring to.
