I only have positive things to say about my experience of living in one of Simon’s homes. I lived at Mount Pleasant for three years and it felt like a proper home, any issues that arose were solved quickly and there was a great amount of communication between the landlord and tenants. It was hard to leave and I would recommend to anyone who is interested!

I've lived at 20 Little Harlescott Lane for over 2 years and it's been the most refreshing experience as a renter. You're extremely well looked after by Simon and John, who are both friendly and accommodating to all your needs and you are surrounded by like minded, excellent and friendly housesmates. The rooms are clean, bright and are maintained to an excellent standard.

I could not recommend them highly enough and I'm gutted to be leaving such a fantastic house and great people in Shrewsbury.

Excellent house share – great landlord

I’ve had a really good experience here at Lancaster Road during my placement year in Shrewsbury.

The house has good facilities, a lovely spacious kitchen and living area with everything you need. The property is well maintained and cleaned each week. The area was perfect for my commute to work with car parking available for all tenants and a bonus was a gym across the road.

Everyone was really nice – Simon, the landlord, really tries to ensure housemates are all a good fit. He is always happy to help and very kind – nothing is too much trouble and if any issues arise or we needed anything it’s resolved very quickly or provided for us. Little things like welcome beer and chocolate on move in day, or Easter eggs left hidden in the house for us all, made it feel like home and not like previous rental experiences.

It was a great option for me as a placement student – I would highly recommend Shrewsbury House Shares. Thank you.

I lived in one of the house shares for about 2 and a half years, and it’s been my best renting experience so far.

Simon the landlord is always extremely quick so address any issues, whether it be maintenance, emergency out of hours issues, or general house messages. We were always given an appropriate amount of notice before any house visits or inspections were done, and the cleaning and gardening service ensured that the communal areas were kept nice at all times.

The condition of the house is fantastic, with up to date kitchen equipment and tidy en-suites for the rooms that have it. If we needed anything such as cutlery or glasses, it would be provided, and we also had extras such as a slow cooker for the household to use.

The house I lived in was a 30ish minute walk from the town centre or a quick bus ride/drive, with a co-op nearby and 15 minute walk from large supermarkets. The location is really convenient and there was also plenty of parking for the 6 residents.

It really felt as if our happiness was a priority in these houses, our opinions on potential new housemates were taken into account and we were given cards/gifts in holidays. The small touches really made me feel welcome.

The rent is extremely fair considering the location and inclusion of bills, as well as the good condition of the house and rooms. There were no exponential price hikes or hidden costs, and Simon is extremely diligent in ensuring everyone understands their entitlements and rights which I found to be very reassuring and really speaks to the quality of this house share.

Lived here for over 5 years and had an amazing experience. simon and tracy are the best landlords you could ask for, any issues or concernes I had in the house they were quick to fix. they often threw welcome parties for new guests. it's the little things they do that made it easy to move away from home for the first time into a new area. the house is immaculate and done to a high standard. couldn't recommend a better place to live if you're looking for a house share. I'm only moving out as I'm moving into a new place with my girlfriend.

I had a wonderful experience during my year in Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury House Shares went above and beyond to ensure my living situation was incredibly convenient and comfortable. The property was meticulously maintained, and any concerns I had were promptly and efficiently resolved. It also helps that I had the pleasure of living with some truly lovely selected people.

Simon is nothing but friendly from the start of viewing the house. He gave me chocolate and beer when I moved in, and was always understanding if there was a problem with the house, always managing to fix things very quickly. Great option for placement students

Lived there for almost 5 years and had a great experience.
Very good landlord, any issues or queries were responded too and sorted very quickly.
Shared areas were spacious and the weekly cleaner saved a lot of time when it comes to the deep cleans.
The area was very convenient, we were walking distances from a few supermarkets and other amenities like bowling.

Fantastic service from both Simon and Tracy. The houses they have, are of the highest standard! Perfect for anyone instructed I moving to Shrewsbury or just to move out for the first time.

Great experience, Simon the landlord was very friendly, helpful and genuine. The house was decorated very nicely and was very comfortable. The other tenants were all very welcoming.

This was the best first experience for living away from my parents that I could've asked for. Simon is incredibly helpful and very kind. Super responsive when you ask questions or have any requests, and the home itself is absolutely superb. Everything that you need is there and more. The environment that they create in their houses makes you happy to come home, and the housemates are vetted wonderfully so you'll definitely get on with them. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

If you are thinking about moving into a house share in Shrewsbury you would be silly not to consider here. House is modern and well furnished and every appliance you could think of in the kitchen. Landlord is very kind and attentive, he will deal with any issue in a timely manner. Bedrooms are lovely and most with en suits. New tenants are vetted by landlord to ensure they will be a positive addition to the hosue. Occasional pizza night paid for by landlord when there have been a few new tenants and even a little present at Xmas! Could not recommend more. I only moved out due to moving in with partner.

Great house share and a really good landlord. Sorts out any issues if they arrise extremely quickly. Happily reccomend.

The land lord is a genuine and caring, any issues within the house are fix immediately. He has a passion to deliver the highest quality in accommodation with a keen eye for detail. The rooms are furnished beautifully while the house is well insulated reducing noise pollution between rooms, this also keeps it lovely and walm in the winter. Often, he encourages us to enjoy our self by paying for pizza nights and surprises at charismas with gifts. He vets people making sure they are a good fit within his houses so the mood is always amazing. He asks if anything needs sorting and listens to any suggestions that his tenets make and acts on them if he thinks it will improve their experience, although I did ask for a hot tub once and he refused, will have to try again sometime soon!

This house is the best house share which I have been living in, since I came the landlord has been very attentive and kind. I highly recomend it. 10/10

It’s never been so easy moving! From the initial application, viewing the property and meeting the other residents to the actual moving in date - none of it was stressful. That’s all thanks to Simon making every step of the way stress free!
Simon and Tracey do such an amazing job at creating places that actually feel like homes, rather than just a stop off point. I couldn’t ask for a better landlord - they really cater to everyone’s needs and makes sure you have everything you need to get settled in!
