My two sons have been training with Shuhari for 3 years now. The have both gained confidence, mental and physical strength. The classes are very friendly and emphasis is on respect. All grades train together and senior students mentor the junior grades regardless age. All students are encouraged to progress at their own pace and abilities and there is no pressure placed on the students if they are struggling to progress- rather they are encouraged and mentored more to help them. My eldest son has autism and dyspraxia- his coordination and strength have improved at a phenomenal rate. The sense of camaraderie he has gained are unmatched. My younger son has suffered with bullying and now has so much more confidence at school. I highly recommend this school for all - it is inclusive for all regardless of age and ability.

Very well organised and well trained staff, My son is attending classes with them from last 2 years and he has developed alot of confidence not just in karate but overall and all sensai and staff are amazing here specially sensai Majid is amazing and always on top of his students as their main focus is to teach kids the right way and technique and master the craft rather then just making progression to next level ... well done guys and i highly recommend their service to everyone who is looking to get their kids learn extra skill and boost their confidence

Shuhari Slough dojo is an excellent karate school. My son has been attending for the past many years and he has been learning so many great things useful to life not only about physical health, security but also about mental growth , patience and personality development related things as well. He loves to attend the classes . This school provides qualified teachers with structured curriculum and neat progress path . This helps students to achieve their goals in the right direction. Shuhari is a great place for people who are dedicated to learn and strive in discipline and strength my two older children are striving greatly learning new things every lessons they have. And my two other younger children have just started not so long ago and they say they love it! Highly recommend!

My boys have tried a few clubs in the past but never really enjoyed them. Shuhari is the first one that they both enjoy and they are ready on time to go to the club and really look forward to it. My younger child has a great bond with Sensai Majid and because of him my son has opened up. When they finish the classes on the way home they are talking non stop of how they enjoyed the lesson and what they have learnt. I am grateful they have settled down and enjoy going to Shuhari. My kids have grown confident and have learnt self defence overtime all credits to their Senseis’.

An excellent club, have been a student of Shuhari MMA for almost a year now. Every lesson we have is fun and interesting, everyone is very respectful and supportive from our Sensei to Senpai to Student Leaders to the Students. It has been an incredible experience so far, I look forward to the future not just my own journey but also the journey of our club!

Shuhari is an excellent karate school. I have been attending this karate school for 4 years now and it has been an incredible experience. First of all, the karate school provides a structured curriculum and clear progression path, allowing students to set and achieve their goals one step at a time.
The instructors at this karate school are not only highly skilled in karate, but they also excel as teachers. They provide clear, concise instructions and take the time to ensure that every student grasps the techniques being taught. They care about their students on an individual level and they provide specific feedback for everybody at the end of each session. They emphasise the importance of discipline in the dojo, but are also very kind and reasonable ; thus creating a warm and welcoming environment for students to train in.
Additionally, this karate school understands that karate is not just about strengthening the body, it is also about strengthening the mind. They emphasize the importance of discipline, focus, and perseverance, which extend beyond the dojo and into everyday life. They also give us practical advice about what to do in dangerous situations in real life, and how that differs from what we do in the dojo. Furthermore, the school incorporates lessons on the history, traditions, and origins of karate, enriching our understanding of this sport.

All in all, I would highly recommend this karate school.

I'm experienced in Martial Arts and therefore very picky. My child is a natural and does not practice with me so it's frustrating to have to have to rely only on the classes. But with Shuhari I'm confident she'll be her best! There's discipline, there's life principles, concentration, rigour, self control - all that Martial arts is about - plus great technique teaching and well structured classes. It gets a very high recommendation from a very strict a d perfectionist person. *****

My son and I have been training with Shuhari for a couple of years. The classes are well balanced for all levels and always have enough instructors so that no body is left at the side doing nothing. The instructors are very friendly and the classes are always action packed and fun.
I would highly recommend Shuhari to anybody looking to take up martial arts.

Shuhari self defence is a great dojo. My children have attended it for over five years and have loved every session.
I am pleased with the consistency of the training programs and the sensei’s - this helps with uniformity between different dojos in case my kids miss a class and have to attend a different one.
