Excellent school for adults and children! Couldn’t be happier with the experience we’ve had with sending the children in as they have learnt so many skills that will serve them well. Always come back with such enthusiasm from the sessions! Great team of coaches.

I've been going to Shuhari self defence for almost 4 years now and i can say i've enjoyed every single lesson. The instructors are knowledgeable, welcoming and encouraging. Every week is different, great for staying fit and learning self defence skills. The classes are suitable for people of all ages and levels. I highly recommend!

Shuhari self defence is a serious martial arts class. My daughter is going to the Maidenhead dojo since one & half year. We have seen a positive development to her confidence, strength and self defence skills. The Sensei (Majid) is very good, caring & strict, when required. The environment is very friendly & develops a sense of camaraderie among the students of all age group. Olgun comes across as a very knowledgeable and experienced martial arts professional. Overall, very happy with this group!

Shuhari is an excellent community. My daughter is training at the Maidenhead dojo. We are extremely happy with how her training has been going. She is stronger and more confident. Her sensei have been teaching her how to perfect her defence techniques and takes time to explain these techniques. I would highly recommend Shuhari and the Maidenhead dojo.

A great family friendly club. With Sensei Olgun experience of all round pragmatic hands on martial arts and self defence training you couldn’t pick a better instructor and club to join for first hand knowledge of the arts for all different scenarios. I have known Sensei Olgun for many years and have trained with him many times in groups and one to one. You won’t be disappointed. Great for all ages and genders highly recommended. when I didn’t joined shuhari self defence I didn’t know how to defend my self now I know how to defend my self proberly and tactically thank you so much I definitely recommend this karaoke club.

Shuhari Self Defence has helped me develop into a mature adult. I have been attending classes for over a decade I now have my black belt and am really thankful for the support I have received. Sensei Olgun and the whole team have been the reason why I have become such a confident person. Even after I got my black belt, I volunteered to help out with classes. At Shuhari, they always want you to improve as a martial artist as well as a human being. It is something I recommend to attend. The lessons are fun and give you a good challenge.

I attend a class every Sunday and all of the senseis are polite and know what to do in all aspects of learning martial arts.it is a fun class I would recommend to everyone.it helped me to be more physically fit and skilled.I also learned to protect myself in case of trouble .

My eldest started attended to help with confidence and social skills which were hindered during lockdown. From day one, Sensei Majid has been great, really working with my son to help his confidence. We've seen such a positive difference, with my son returning to his outgoing and energetic pre-lockdown self!

Now my middle child also attends weekly, and both love the club so much. The lessons teach children discipline, respect, are a great source of fitness and general wellbeing. Could not recommend highly enough.

I have trained with Shuhari for the past three years. I have learned lots of ways to defend myself and ways to remain calm and confident. I admire the instructors who are very kind and helpful, but very strong. They are great role models.

Great karate school, highly recommend. The son is fascinated by the teacher and can't wait for the next classes and meetings with friends.

My two kids and I have trained at Shuahri in Slough since Oct 2022. The club and members were extremely welcoming and we were treated like part of the family. The Sensei and helping senior members are always kind and our training is also intense. The kids have learnt to be confident and also respectful and disciplined. We now train twice a week and we love it. The club is fantastic with kids of all ages and levels. We do the class together so kids and adults all in one class which is amazing to see the little ones progress. Would recommend anyone to come have a go. You will not be dissapointed.
