Preordered a figure over a year ago but it never shipped. Won't respond to their customer service email. Have called and they said they would get back to me and they never did. Called again and they said they would refund, never did.

Online store experience.

Placed a preorder in 2024, this figure was set to be released Q1 2025 but I waited thinking it took longer for the company to receive stock but for some reason, my preorder was missed. Asked to source the item for me, was told it would be a month, gave them more than a month only to be told that the item was "delayed". I could have gotten the item from Japan but wanted to support local businesses but they dragged the issue to the point that I asked for a refund. Had to email them to get anywhere. Will never shop with them again and you should avoid the company if you value your time with no headaches. I suppose in stock items wouldn't be an issue but considering my experience, I wouldn't buy. Preorder section seems to have disappeared from their website, I wonder why?

Bought from their online store and the items got delayed. They offered me a refund and I agreed but never heard back from them. I had to chargeback with my bank

Made a pre-order for a Gundam Virtue model kit last year. Sent an email and they re-assured within 24 hours that it would be sent as soon as they had stock. Tracking appeared a month later and it arrived delivered with no issues at all. Would purchase from this shop again in the future.

Yeah Shumi are pretty good. I love the relaxed vibes they have in their stores. They don’t negatively pressure you into buying things you don’t need (I do that to myself 95% of the time) especially during a very expensive time of the year. Couldn’t vouch for this store more than I already do.

The wide variety of merch is incredible, especially for being a small business. The online store makes it incredibly easy to find what I'm looking for. Equally, the customer service in-store is a 10/10! They're always so kind and ready to help! I've found them to be very knowlagable and understanding when they've helped me find specific figures. I LOVE SHUMI!!

Shumi Shop is such a great store for any anime merch needs! The website is so well designed and easy to navigate, they have a huge variety of figures, and they are willing to do custom orders.
If you go in store they also provide amazing customer service. The workers at the Watertown Shumi especially are so kind and happy to help :3
