I cycled over to Oakham and was then invited to put my bike safely inside. I asked for advice on a new bike and the staff were very helpful indeed, thanks Josh. He was happy to then help me find a couple of incidental purchases after booking a consultation at a late date. Excellent service.

We initially intended to buy one bike but ended up buying two!!
Nothing was too much trouble and happily swapped bikes back and forth on the rollers until we were happy with our choice.

Just the fact that you can order clothing in different sizes (on Sigma's website) to get delivered to the store so you can try on for the correct fit in store, and Sigma encourages this, can't be faulted. Great customer service too.

The team where involved before we set foot in the shop, sorting the stock out, putting a hold on the bike until I arrived next day, two man team set me up, PDI done whilst out for dinner, a good chat with the staff, and a good fuss of the “new” shop dog Stevie, a great experience, great team at the Oakham branch.

Andrew made me feel very at ease and gave good advice. He listened and understood what I wished to achieve; he made the required adjustments after scrutiny of style of riding, bike set up, cleats position and mobility assessment, all resulting in a more comfortable and more powerful ride (I hope!)

Went to buy a pair of road cycling shoes. I have struggled to find a pair that fit properly via mail order.

Good old fashioned service from the chap who served me. Very patient and helpful in finding shoes with a good fit and the correct insoles.

I left with a nice pair of wide fit Lake CX239 shoes. Having had a couple of outings in them I am very happy with them, fit really well.

I had to travel quite some distance as there are no decent local bike shops in my area with a wide range of shoes in stock to try on. I hope this store has a good future.
