I ordered this the beginning.of 2023…

I ordered this the beginning.of 2023 and after 2 months decided it wasn't for me. I cancelled my subscription and received an email that I'd still receive monthly journals...for whatever reason they couldn't stop the remaining shipments. I received an email yesterday that my account was charged a renewal fee...emailed the company only to get a response that they couldn't stop the new order or refund the money. Customer service was no help and I'd strongly suggest anyone looking for a journal please go elsewhere. It's a rip off.

They are scam artists

They are scam artists. The products are very cheaply made and difficult to stay organized in which is why I did not plan on buying more. Like many other customers have talked about on this website, when I went to cancel the auto renewal, there was no account linked when I went to cancel my 3 month subscription. I contacted customer service, they said I was too late to stop the renewal and said they were going to send them out to me anyways. It’s only 64 dollars but I’m more upset as I feel they do not conduct their business fairly.

Customer service hasn’t gotten back to…

Customer service hasn’t gotten back to me after numerous emails and messages to their social media. They delete your posts and comments on their app platform if they’re not positive. They messed up my annual subscription.

I started my silk & Sonder experience last year

I started my silk & Sonder experience in mid oct 2023 and wasn’t sure this was for me but decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. It’s been life changing. I started with their app and from there decided to get their journals. In the new year I’ve committed myself to the 5 minutes a day to journal each day and reflect on things every month.

Horrible service

Horrible service, unable to log in to edit subscriptions so I was charged for the full year. Since it processed through the only note from team was resending their no refunds policy and to enjoy the subscription for the next 11 months. To top it off they kept sending a coupon for next time I want to renew. I do not want this order, I was unable to stop the auto renew which had no warning. I do not want to receive these items for the next 11 months.

Update to their response: I had already reached out to the email that was provided below. I asked if I could edit my subscription to be only the quarterly and receive a refund for the other 3 quarters but the only response I kept getting was “we can’t make any changes, here is a coupon for next time.” That’s not really helpful or provides a great experience. Direct quote from an email where I was looking for help and this was their response: “You're always welcome back to rejoin the #sonderfam! If you decide to reactivate your subscription in the future, feel free to use the code ‘BACKTOSONDER20’ for 20% off.”

I purchased a year-long subscription

I purchased a year-long subscription, learned quickly the product wasn’t for me but the company wasn’t understanding or helpful and said I had to continue the entire years subscription.

Love It, Works Amazing For Me

I got my Silk + Sonder subscription because I got one of their ads on Instagram and fell in love with all the super helpful tips and tricks they were giving on their social media. I also love that the Founder & CEO is an ambitious woman like me who made the journal to work for her after she went through some personal highs and lows! My first journal that I got was the March one and I absolutely loved it – my fave pages are the Mood Tracker, Habit Tracker (weekly and monthly), the special pages (the journal prompts change every month), and the Weekly Setup. As someone who has anxiety and goes to therapy, it really helped having a journal that could combine my mood tracking with habit tracking, sleep tracking, and weekly layouts so I could really make sure I was actually getting the exercise / sleep I deserved. I am an annual member and my experience has been great – I always get my journal on time and from what I can see from other members, the Customer Care has been great. Everyone has their own experience, and my personal experience with this company has been amazing all around. If you're looking to try it out, I recommend it because it's really helped me a lot.

Exactly what I needed!

Silk and Sonder is exactly what I didn't know I need. I love keeping lists and other little to do notes, but this has everything in one spot and more! I also have been wanting to get into journaling lately and this has started a habit that I know will only grow into more. I love the positive affirmations throughout the whole journal and the little prompts that are different every month. The habit tracker is one of my favorite parts, helping me stick to good habits I want to continue and releasing bad habits that no longer serve me. This has really changed my life and I look forward to working in it each day.

I've been using these journals for 9 months

I've been using these journals for almost 9 months now! Honestly has been game-changing in terms of keeping me on track with my personal life + professional life. Last month was the first month where my journal was either mis-delivered or stolen from my front door. I contacted their support team and received a replacement journal within 3 days, luckily before the next month started. Would recommend this product.

A great intro to journaling + it works for me!

I had never journaled before, but have friends that are really into reflection and goal-setting. I keep a daily planner, but that was really just to stay organized. But Silk + Sonder was a nice mix. It's really gorgeously designed, and I was able to easily carry it around as a weekly/daily planner. But then it includes reflections, habit and mood trackers, activities, etc, all around a new theme every month. The prompts and activities really made it easy for someone like me to know "what to write down." After a few months, I was able to do prompts and reflections more easily, and it actually worked and helped me reflect, introduce mindfulness, and just take a few minutes everyday to check in on myself. I love it!

Actions don't align with brand values. Stay far away

I've been a subscriber for years, and the past 3 months I haven't received any planners. I updated my address in their system as well as contacted support to confirm the address was updated several times but despite this they continue to say they're delivered to my old address. I actually contacted the building and confirmed that they haven't received anything either.

I've contacted customer service repeatedly, both via email and social media, I'm flat out ignored. They won't send me new planners, they won't refund me. This brand does not at all follow what it stands for. I'm heartbroken, because I really did love the product.

I get an annual subscription… the first journal I got was assembled completely backwards. They sent me a replacement that arrived when there were 2 days left in the month. What am I supposed t do with that? The next monthly journal I got was a repeat of the same month they sent me a replacement that arrived on the 7th of the month. Thank you for the “monthly journals that I have not been able to actually use for the month. When asked for a refund because I was dissatisfied with the goods I have been sold. They told me no. They have no quality control. It takes days to respond to customer service. And they clearly do not provide the services they are claiming to. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Silk + Sonder is exactly what I have…

Silk + Sonder is exactly what I have been looking for. I love the app and all of the community building events/photos of real life filled out journals! Gives me great hope for myself! The first delivery of my quarterly subscription was quick and easy to complete. The packaging is on point, and content is right there along with that! Excellence has arrived. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!!

Terrible customer service. I had purchased an annual membership on Oct 23rd 2020. I noticed that on Oct 10th they charged me $160 for another annual subscription that wasn't even supposed to renew until the 23rd!! I contacted them on October 16th and they denied my cancellation and told me to "gift the subscription to a friend". RIDICULOUS! I've been telling everyone about this experience as I haven't been able to shake it off.
