Great product but sizes are smaller…

Great product but sizes are smaller than advertised. Order at least one size up. Hard to return product from Canada as you must return the product to USA where there are tariffs even on returned products. Item shipped from BC to Alberta. A great deal oferred to accept existing product and just reorder the correct size.

Everything Defective- Returns & Exchanges Not Handled Proactively

UPDATE:
After this review, SILKSILKY contacted me and agreed to exchange the defective items, but the process was not simple. I had to arrange and pay for return shipping myself. They stated they would send replacements once the return was received, then refund me for the shipping. I followed up to confirm shipment; it took a few days, but the replacements have now arrived and the quality is much better.

While the issue was eventually resolved, it was only after posting this review. Initially, I was told an exchange was not possible. This was their original response:

"Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns about the shorts in your set. We sincerely apologize for the marks and discoloration you've encountered. We understand how disappointing this can be, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
While we are unable to exchange the set for a new one, we would like to offer you a couple of options to make this right:
15% refund on your purchase
30% coupon that is equal to the value of the items, which you can use on your next order
Please let us know which option you would prefer, and we will be happy to assist you further. Your satisfaction is our priority..."

Based on my experience, returns or exchanges for defective items are not handled proactively.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I received a Cami and shorts set that is scratched up and has marks on it. Both the top and the shorts are damaged. I reached out to customer service and was basically told they couldn’t exchange it even though it’s faulty, and all they offered was 15% off or 30% off up to the value of the $80 set. THEY DON’T ACTUALLY EXCHANGE OR RETURN. The other item in my order is a sleeveless Cami. The straps are two different widths. So both items in my order are defective, but Customer Service will not allow me to return?? Be aware that they’re no hassle return policy cited on their website is BS. These are not high-quality items. And they will not exchange or return. I feel duped.

Ordered a Pure Silk top, got a Rayon top

Ordered a pure silk top. What came was 65% Rayon and nothing like the style I ordered. Even though they were in the wrong they made the return as difficult as they could. Finally got a refund but it was £7.40 short of what I paid, even though they apologised profusely and promised a FULL refund. Id avoid them

I needed something natural

I needed something natural, lightweight and breathable for summer heat because I struggle in summer to keep protected from the sun yet cool for the active life I have to lead. I haven’t bought from Silky before, but am delighted with the dresses received although whilst both are “medium” in size, one fits perfectly and the other is too large. However, I am keeping both because I can use the larger one at night as a comfortable nightdress, which will keep away the midge bites (from the wisteria outside my ever open bedroom windows) but still feel cool - win win!
