Lack of Response From Silvelox
There is a lack of repairers throughout the UK. The doors are good although after 8 years the plywood external finish of mine is starting to deteriorate. In addition, part of the operating motor failed and the repair cost for a new one was £1,150. The old motor which I have kept is still working but some tiny part must have failed. Silvelox are not interested in repairing the failed motor and insist on changing the whole unit. Their Italian headquarters do not respond when I ask them if the failed unit, which is mostly springs and gears, can be repaired. I would not buy another!
